I don't think I've mentioned this yet, but Zhang Yimou is one of my favorite directors. I especially love his period pieces with Gong Li.

I'm looking forward to Cuaron's latest film 'Bad Education'. Or wait, was that Pedro Almodovar? I think it's the latter. Gael Garcia Bernal will be playing a crossdresser and will take on a Spanish accent rather than his Mexican.

To answer myself, it's an Almadovar film. I really want to see his films now, which include All About My Mother, Live Flesh, Talk to Her.
I also still need to see a John Waters film. sweatdrop

One of my favourite directors, and I know you all probably consider him a fluff director, is:
Cameron Crowe.
Yup. His Almost Famous introduced my to cinema and became (and remains) my favourite movie. Say Anything was brilliant as well. Jerry Maguire's awesome. I love all of his work. Can't wait for Elizabethtown.
I also love
Zhang Yimou
WKW
Martin Scorcese (Taxi, Goodf., Raging, etc.)
Ya, I think that's about it :p

Well, after seeing Chungking Express, I have to say that Wong Kar-wai has taken second place in my book, right after good ol' Park Chanwook. Chungking Express was just incredible.

Yes, I wish WKW did more films like that. It seems like he's stuck in this 60's period and he's intent on having as many pretty scenes as possible.
