Kaiser sighed and watched Hali swim off. Shaking himself dry, he retreated back to his home a few hours later, and a few thousand coins richer. Enough to make ends meet, really.

Of course, he also had to nurse his bruised and broken ribs. He didn't get away completely unscathed, and Kaiser winced not from pain but from money issues.

Myrr came into the room with a bowl of hot water and helped bandage up his ribs.

"Myrr, I might take a job with Queen Hali." he muttered.

"Oh, whyso? You'll only get screwed in the end."

"Yeah, I know but its double the pay of what that last job was so..."

"Right, the Moonlight Organization is scattered right now, what with Guild Master Shiro's disappearance and everything. Sucks to be us."

"You got that right."

Upon staring in the water she had realize that she forgot about Savarti, and how she was to take her into Aquaria. Hali quickly dove into the water and returned home.

After drying off and changing into clothes she ran up to the north wing and knocked softly on Savarti's door, "Are you ready? Sorry i forgot... I got a bit sidetracked... That guy i was talking about at dinner last night, he was apparently hired to kill a species in the lake... I'm sorry..." she sighed as she leaned against the doorway.

She smiled, "Yeah, I'm sorry... Let me grab my purse and some money." She opened her room, threw on a decorative rainbow scarf. changed from a bikini top to a white halter top, and threw on a colorful knee length skirt on. She threw her purse over her shoulder and dotted lavender essential oils on her neck. "Alright... Let's go!" she smiled as she grabbed her hand and slid out the door.

-In Aquaria-

The city was in excellent condition compared to the others around it. There were many shops and boutiques to visit, as well as a marketplace where you could buy traditional foods, or sit back and listen to the music being played in the town square.

"Well, We're here! Where do you want to go first... Wanna shop for clothes, or do you wanna go get lunch... We could go dance if you'd like!" Hali released her hand and waited for her answer.

"Shopping~" She squealed as she whisked Savarti into a the nearest shop. By a few hours time Savarti had a whole new wardrobe. Shoes, Purses, accessories; Everything! She then took her to the nearest cafe and ordered something, then explained all the foods to her, so she could choose.

The waiter gave Hali an interesting smile and touched her arm, "I'll come back in a while, alright..."

Hali shuttered and smiled, "Yeah... It might be a minute..."

He walked away and she turned to Savarti, "Creep.... Just because he forced me into a room and we had sex doesn't mean he has to be all weird on me..." she sighed and looked back at the menu, "Well, The first page is all salads and soups. they have a lot of fish and shrimp in them, but if you want meals then go to the second page. they have fish of every kind, steak, goat, beef... My favorite is the salad with shrimp and a fish fillet wrapped in banana tree leaves with herbs and tossed on a fire. It's amazing!"

Hali giggled, "No, Not really... He got me drunk, and i had agreed to it, but tried to back out when we got up to his room..." she tucked a lock of her hair behind her pointed ears, "... And it would look as though he's wanting me again..." she looked down, "...Which started this whole rumor that i'm easy... and what i've found is no matter how hard i try.... i can't say no, because i get guilted into it..." she fidgeted uncomfortably, and sighed, "I kind of feel uncomfortable talking about this... but if men continue to give me looks, and use vulgar language... that's why..."

The waiter returned and smiled, "Well, Hali I already know what you want, so what would your guest like today?" he took out his notepad and as he brought it up and brushed a finger up her arm. he took a pen from his apron and got ready to take Savarti's order.

Hali could feel the disappointment Savarti had toward her and stood up, "I-I'm going to go use the restroom... Excuse me." she quickly shuffled to the back of the cafe and slid into the ladies room, locking the door behind her. She slid to the floor and rested her head on her knees, 'So much for today... oh well... she was going to find out eventually...'

Hali stood up and walked to the mirror to wipe her eyes and reapply the little bit of makeup she wore. after a few minutes of deep controlled breathing and a quickly recomposed herself. she stepped out of the restroom and returned to the table, "Sorry to keep you waiting..."

"Wait?!" she grumbled, "I have nothing to wait for..." Hali rested her head on the table and sighed heavily, "When's the food coming..."

One of the waitresses brought them their drinks and a basket of different rolls and cheeses, as well as a dish of butter.

Hali sat up and cut a bun open, then put a thin layer of butter on it and a slice of swiss cheeze on it.

"You don't think i've tried!" She squealed while setting her cheese sandwich on a plate, "They can sense i won't hurt them... Nor will i charge them. So they take advantage of it, and no matter how hard i struggle..." her shoulders slumped and she looked down at her reflection in her wine, "They just find it more pleasurable... Hell, My sister's tried to teach me self defense... and i can hit her, but when it comes to attacking someone else... i can't do it." she clenched her fists and tensed her arms, "No matter how mad i am, no matter how irritated i get... I can't do it!"

her lower lip began to quiver, but her jaw was clenched tight. she struggled internally to keep the tears back, and took a deep breath, and when she released it all her tension melted away, "I am a queen... Of this land... And I can't rule, Because I'm too kind. My sister won't let me read what she reads, won't let me deal with important meetings, nothing! All because I'm too... Laid back... And she can't say I'm too young because i'm six years younger than her!"

She took another deep breath and smiled, "Sorry about that... things build up and I pick the most interesting times to release them."

And just like that... Hali's little storm of anger was over. xp
