A pounding came from the tree they were all standing by. Lyra yelled out to them. "The Wise o- the tree!" She yelled, knowing they wouldn't know who she ment by 'Wise One'. "The tree!" She yelled again from inside. They could all feel the powerful magic around them snap and dissapear. "The tree's gone out!!!" Lyra cried still pounding on the bark from where she was confined.

"I am no miss!" Cried out Lyra almost insulted. "My name is LYRA! Lyra Windwitch!" She did not like being called 'miss'. Her voice though muffled through the bark her outrage was clear. "And I thank you I am fine! Look at the tree! The TREE!" Lyra continues her pounding from the inside. The light that once filled the hollow where Lyra stood captured by the tree dimmed and flickered out, leaving Lyra in compleat darkness.

"I DONT KNOW!" Cried Lyra, nearly crying now. "No! Whats happening to the tree?!" Lyra was in darkness and didnt see the tree withering down on top of her. With a deftening crash the top of the tree fell inward, falling covering Lyra in tree rubble. Not even her short shreik was heard with the crash.

Lyra's chest moved softly with a gasp. With the breath blinding white physic power flug itself free of her body. That bubble of light enclosed all those there and blinded them as they all shaded their eyes. The tension around them built to unbearable levels untill *POP*! Something broke and the light was instantly gone. Lyra remain the only one up, borne by her wings. She blinked slowly, opening her eyes and gasped before coughing from the pain in her chest. All around them, was darkness. Nothing...but darkness. Like the darkness in the hollow of the Wise One. She thought and looked around to see the others suspended in nothingness. She rushed over to Anola and shook her gently. "Hey! Hey, girl!" She whispered hoping that power that had rushed through her hadn't hurt her 'companions' too badly, especialy this girl, the one whom had helped her. She was to distracted to notice the shadow behind her. . .

Species: She's an Avariel (Winged Elf)
weapon: A long bow made of silver wood- a gift from her land-bound brethren- and a longsword, elegantly wrought out of some silvery metal, the blade bears an inscription in Elven that at first appears to be an artful design. She also bears numerous knives tucked amongst the loose folds of her clothes.
Ability: Flight- what else are wings for? -and magic (both combat and assisstance) She has skill with most weapons, and a hard to grasp mind.
Apeatrance: More tall than short, she's the trademark Elven slender, with eyes of gold and long auburn hair. She's naturally pale, but bears a slight tan, possibly from all the flying she does. She dresses in loose clothes, her shirt is a wrap-around in a creamy beige, and her pants are wide legged breeches that she occasionally tightens with criss-crossing straps of leather. Her shoes, when she gets forced into them, are always either sandals that lace up her calves, or boots.
History: Born in the Glass Citadel and raised by her parents with others of her kind, she is a rare balance between magic and blade. Her parents, both very talented clerics, wished for her to follow in their footsteps, and she did- for a while. Then she left, determined to see what was so wrong with the land-bound nations.
Notes: She is very closed about her past, and very touchy about her wings. She's also got hollow bones, which makes her both extremely light, and more fragile than even other elves.

She had forced sandals onto her feet, strapping her breeches to her legs. She had heard a call. A magical being, near death. That was so sad. She landed in the top of a tree with a rustling of leaves. She creapt down, her wings folded neatly along her back. She couldn't hear the caller anymore, but she heard people talking. She wanted to know who.
