Shane caught up with her and pulled her backpack pulling her backwards right onto her butt."take in your suuroundings rayde."He said pointing at the street."that thing goes for a few hundred feet dont you expect thaqt there could be zombies.lets take this slow and clear them all out."

As she went down Rayde shouted "What the hell!?" She turned to see Shane standing over her smiling. She looked up at him from the ground and said with a mischevious smile"I thought you were adventurous," she giggled and got up and took back off towards the door shouting Catch me if you can!"

Shane smirked and ran after her with his Shotgun bayonet type weapon out"Yeah i can!"He yelled and ran after her pretty soon he matched her pace then sprinted ahead reaching the gun store first.

She was surprised at how fast the young man could run, she was one of the fastest runner's in her unit before the outbreaks. I guess all these years of smoking three packs a day have finally caught up with me she thought. Oh well she still wasn't even breathing hard unlike her comrade her. She looked at him with a grin as he caught his breath. Rayde smiled and said, "Quit your weezing boy, you'll attract unwanted attention" She then slapped him on the back and tried the door laughing as she did so. Of course the door was locked, all the good places were always locked. Rayde reached into her pack and said to Shane, "cover me." She pulled out her crowbar and started prying at the door. That's when she heard it, the all to familiar sounds of undead scuffling behind the door. Rayde stopped her prying and brought her MP5 up and pointed it at the door as she backed away saying to Shane "We have company"...

Shane laughed as he dug into his own pack taking out a clock.he set the alarm for thirty seconds.He threw it letting it sail through the air and pulled Rayde with him to some rubble and crouched down."Shh"He smiled as the alarm began and zombies started approaching it rapidly the burst through the gun store doors and from down the streets as soon as they were all grouped together Shane took out a bottle of beer and popped off the cap making a molotov and light it throwing it towards the zombies.they soon became ablaze and slowly burned to ashes

Rayde stood up and said "what the hell kind of beer do you have!? Molotovs out of beer? Genious" She drew the pisol from it's holster on her hip and fired walking towards the burning undead. She fired a round into each of the things still standing and holstered her weapon and said to Shane, "who knew an alarm clock would piss them off like that? Where'd you learn that trick?" And with that Rayde turned and moved tactically into the gun shop. She button hooked the first room and cleared it with ease, she then moved to the back room she pied the corner and rushed in, scanning the dimly lit room for anything living or dead. As she rounded the corner onto the staircase she heard it again. she froze before the entryway to the stairwell. It hadn't noticed her yet. She fired with her pistol two shots into the back of its head. As it went down Rayde turned to see if Shane had managed to keep up with her. She'd made a childish mistake, going in alone and she hoped she wouldn't have to regret it.

Shane had followed he had her back perfectly."you learn many things when you are alone for three years and as for the alarm clock that was A wild guess."he walked with her scanning the room.he had his same smile on his lips when he found a cabinet with at least five shotguns.he strapped them on his back he knew it would encumber him slightly but it was a weapons run.He also put all the ammo into his pack."this is a damn fine store."

Rayde motioned Shane up the stairs. She could tell he hadn't spent much time raiding the ruins of society he grabbed a bunch of things before he knew the building was even safe. Amature, she thought, oh well, she'd teach him the ropes later. She proceeded up the steps towards the second floor. heard some more shuffling, there were doors to the left and right she motioned Shane forward to the right side door. She explained to him "You go right, I'll go left. If you get into trouble, yell" With that Rayde shot around the corner like a lightning bolt bracing herself for whatever might lie beyond. She lifted her pistol as she rounded the corner and readied for anything.... She glanced around the room... Nothing... but that meant that the sounds she heard were coming from....

Shane stayed in the main room on the second floor tossing a little signalling light into the other hallway.He heard annoyed gurgling.hm so they didnt like light that helped a lot.He went up the hall and swung his shotgun bayonet blindly as he proceeded down the hall.it was dark he couldnt see a thing all he could do was swing blindly whenever he heard it hit something fleshy he stopped and fired off a shot before continuing.soon he came to a room with windows and shot at the zombies that were there.he should absolutely no emotion though he prayed that the people they had used to be were resting safely in heaven or Nirvana or any other good place that equalled to heaven.
((Nirvana as well as being a band name is also the name of the buddhist's version of heaven.))

Rayde heard the commotion in the other room and rushed over to see what the matter was. She hadn't heard any screams but he was new so she just had to be sure. "Hey, you still in the land of the living?" Rayde shouted into the dark room. Not waiting for a response she holstered her pistol and drew her MP5 and readied for the worst. SHe slowly crept into the other room. making sure she moved her weapon with her flashlightso she could see what she was shooting at if need be. "Shane?" she whispered.Then suddenly her flashlight skimmmed across a person, well she hoped it was a person, Shane. As she approached she could see it's tattered clothers and mutilated torso. She Was about to pull the trigger when she was tackled from the side...

Shane turned throwing his knife catching the zombie that tackled her right in the eye socket then he cleaned up by shooting the one with the mutilated torso.shane walked over and scrambled the other zombies brain or what should have been a brain.He kicked the zombie off rayde and crushed its head with his boot after taking out his knife and cleaned it off.
"Are you alright"He said helping rayde to her feet.

Rayde loooked up with a sheepish grin, "You know I could've handled it!, you didn't have to kill all of them, damn" she said as she stood up and brushed herself off. She pushed past him back downstairs to the storefront. Rayde opend her pack, set it on a counter and started raiding the shelves. she managed to scrounge up a new pisotl much better than the old 1911 she pulled off some dead WWII vet's kid in Anchorage. She threw out the old one and holstered the new one, it was a Glock 18, not bad for a quick spur of the moment raid. She grabbed ammo and slung a long rifle across her back, she topped off her own ammo and got ready to move. Shane, you ready?"

"Sure."Shane said grabbing a few lighters and small arms multiple pistols and a machine pistol and of course ammo for it all.He shoved the weapons and ammo in his pack and looked around."I wish we had room for it all."
Shane got up and walked back to rayde handing her a chocolate bar that was perfectly packaged."A luxery in a time of disaster."he said with a smile he grabbed another one then shoved the rest into his pack.

Ryde gladly accepted the chocolate bar, after all a girl can splurge every now and again, can't she? She cracked open the door and peered into the street, checking to see if any of those damned creatures were roaming the alleys and blocking their escape. "Good, only a couple of them" Rayde said as she drew her machete once more. she took her first steps out of the door and motioned Shane to follow behind her. They made an immediate right down an alley towards the outskirts of town and kept pushing Rayde always wary of her surroundings. A shiver ran up and down her spine as they walked slowly down the alleys, something was going wrong she could feel it. Damn, and she wasn't going to be able to move fast if she has to with all of these weapons, Dumb mistake number two. She was having a bad day with those, maybe she should stop getting distracted. Rayde stopped suddenly and said "We shouldn't be here"

"What was your first clue?"Shane said with a smirk.and pointed out some buildings."grocery store,Department store,Convience store,Adults store oh and finally a gas station.can we go to any of them?or all of them?"
