The Duel

[Hanxtan]

Considering how weak Astrixinch is at the moment, Hanxtan deflected with his metal plated arm. This kind of knocked Astrixinch back. Hanxtan rushed toward Sohnajyx on his board. Hanxtan circled him and formed a long staff in his hands, he then proceeded to bash Sohnajyx with the staff which began to liquefy with each hit. Hanxtan randomly changed patterns around Sohnajyx so he wouldn't be as easily caught.

Sohnajyx saw the impending doom coming and threw his right hand out away from the castle. With a rumble, a large section of the castle wall, filled with technology, Shot out towards Hanxtan, at the same time Sohnajyx's cloak, which was filled with spare parts, tore off him in all directions with the metallic liquid still attached to it. "Be gone!" the now shirtless Sohnajyx said as the wall swung behind him towards Hanxtan. The bits and pieces from his cloak, now in tatters, then flew onto the jetpack, boosting it with even more speed. Sohnajyx and Astrixinch seemed to be heading for the top of the castle.

Being caught off guard from the wall swing at him Hanxtan try to fly away from it's area of effect but could not escape the crushing blow of the wall. Only the edges of the wall was able to strike him but it was enough send him spiraling down and heading straight for the ground. In order to lessen the blow, Hanxtan absorbed Dark Star and began to fall with the wall still pushing down on him. Before he knew it the wall along with him had smashed into the ground. The wall shattered and cover Hanxtan with ruble, this left Hanxtan to have to dig his way out. It would take a while.

Sohnajyx continued his flight, landing high up, in the Altar of Naught. As Astrixinch released his creation and stumbled into a sitting position, Sohnajyx's jets reverted to arms, then flew apart into tiny bits, the most basic transistors, circuits, wires, etc. they then re-arranged and attached themselves to his back, now resembling long pipes with three spikes arranged in a triangle pattern at each end. Suddenly the "pipes" bent and twisted like the tentacles of some beast before finally slamming into the ground under Sohnajyx, their teeth biting in deep.

The Castle then began to rumble. Slowly something amazing began to happen. The Castle That Never Was had always had an unimaginable amount of technology in it; anti-gravity generators, lights, and all manor of other electrical gizmos, but only now was it apparent just how much was ACTUALLY there. Slowly, an entire tower began to detatch, then a wall folded in on itself. Gradually the speed increased to the point that it became almost impossible to tell what came from where. When all was calm again it was not the familliar white monolith floating over the crater, but a large mechanical dragon, the size of a city, with its massive wings beating slowly, Sohnajyx stayed motionless, arms crossed, plugged into a wall at the back of a balcony where the beast's face would be. Meanwhile Astrixinch was inside the creature's head, in a position relative to a brain, with an impenitrable force field around him, resting.  

[Hanxtan]

After digging for a little while Hanxtan finally made his way out of the rubble. What awaited him was impressive. A large dragon formed out of the castle it's self, flew idly in front of him. Each stroke of it's wings sent off strong burst of wind in all directions. Standing on top of the rubble from the wall, Hanxtan started to observe the dragon but he had taken too long to do so. The mechanical beast took notice of Hanxtan as an easy target and swooped down, biting at Hanxtan. Just in time, Hanxtan took his flight form and dodged to the left. While the dragon's momentum kept it going down, Hanxtan rode up high above the dragon's head. When Hanxtan thought he had reached the peak of his flight he absorbed Dark Star and started to speed toward the ground, falling fast. Hanxtan aligned himself with the top of the dragon's head, in hopes that he could deliver a devastating blow to it's vital point. Close to the time of impact the dragon looked up and started to jerk around, making it impossible for Hanxtan to properly hit his target. This was unexpected, so at the last moment Hanxtan landed on it's back. Delivering all of the momentum from the fall into a powerful attack.

As Hanxtan landed, the area under him swung open into a tiny room inside the dragon, only about 20'x20'. As the hatch closed behind him it became pitch black. Suddenly lights came on, blindingly bright, to reveal at least 20 turrets coming from all available surfaces, ranging from lasers to fully-automatic machine guns.

[Hanxtan]

Hanxtan, with Dark Star fully absorbed, took most of the bullets but tried his best to avoid the lasers. Considering that hits from the laser wouldn't exactly bounce off of his metal skin, Hanxtan had to avoid contact with them. Although Hanxtan tried his best he still got hit, several parts of his robe and his left leg were seared by the touch of a laser. This left a decent sized hole in his pants around the knee region, along with smaller wholes from the bullets. Thinking as fast as he could, Hanxtan pushed Dark Star out of his body and surrounded himself with it like a large metallic sphere. He pushed it out and forced it against the walls, doing this destroyed the weaponry so that it could not fire again. Hanxtan was in a small room with no exits, so he made one. He punched out an exit for himself in the direction that he would think the head would be and continued on in hopes to find a vital point so he could destroy the dragon from the inside out.

As Hanxtan burst through the wall he found himself in what appeared to be a hallway. But before he could react the section of floor he was on lifted at incredible speed locking into the hole in the roof that had just barely locked in time. He found himself back outside the dragon, on its back, which was at least two hundred yards wide. The head loomed in the distance, and the wings beat monotonously but suddenly the Mecha-Dragoon dived toward the crater's and nearing it did a barrel roll, flinging Hanxtan off.
