The Duel

[Astrixinch]

Astrixinch stepped boldly forth to the center of the sparring room. He glared defiantly around, his armes crossed, and issued his challenge: "Who among you could challenge me?"  

[Hanxtan]

Hearing Astrixinch's challenge, Hanxtan walks into the sparring room. "I will accept your challenge."  

[Astrixinch]

Astrixinch unfolded his arms and closed his eyes. He suddenly opened them to reveal a vague deep purple glow in them. he held one hand before him and a small sphere of similarly colored energy appeared in his palm. It suddenly extended and solidifyed into The Longinus. Astrixinch, his eyes returning to normal, took a defensive stance.  

[Hanxtan]

Hanxtan pulled Dark Star off of his back and held it firmly in front of him, he stood waiting and ready. "Who is going to attack first?" Hanxtan thought to himself.  

[Astrixinch]

Astrixinch dropped into a low stance and spun back, continuing into sweeping attack aimed at Hanxtan's feet  

[Hanxtan]

To avoid Astrixinch's attempt to take out out his legs Hanxtan springs up. While in midair Hanxtan forcefully swings Dark Star towards Astrixinch's head. Trying to connect a crush blow.  

[Astrixinch]

Astrixinch rolled sideways, a shower of rubble from the small hole created by Hanxtan's attack bounced behind him. He then sprang up and, swinging his arm out (like throwing a Frisbee), launched the Longinus at Hanxtan. He then came down heavily on his knees and rolled back to avoid any retaliation.  

[Hanxtan]

Hanxtan bounced up in a standing position to see the Longinus flying at his head. Hanxtan tossed up Dark Star and with out making contact he sweeps his hands in a spinning motion around the edges of his weapon. This causes Dark Star to rotate rapidly. Hanxtan then forces his hands in front him causing Dark Star to jolt forward and clash against Longinus. As the two weapons grind a shower of spark rain on Hanxtan. Rushing forward Hanxtan ducks under the shower of sparks and runs toward Astrixinch with his fist out readying a punch.  

[Astrixinch]

Astrixinch came up from his roll and saw Hanxtan, the juggernaut of The New Organization, barreling down on him. He threw up his hands and two hallucinatory clones appeared at Hanxtans heels, they took hold and pulled up attempting to knock him on his face.  

[Hanxtan]

Feeling the tug of the clones on his heels Hanxtan clinches his fist and plants his feet firmly on the ground. The shower of sparks behind Hanxtan disappear as his skin seems to grow darker. Hanxtan stands up straight and chuckles as he kicks off Astrixinch's clones. Hanxtan jumps toward Astrixinch in an attempt to crush him into the ground.  

[Astrixinch]

Astrixinch darted forward, under the airborn Hanxtan who came down behind him. He then spun around in a roundhouse kick, landing in the center of Hanxtan's back.  

[Hanxtan]

The force of Astrixinch's kick slides Hanxtan forward about two inches and nearly knocks Hanxtan off balance but thanks to his sudden weight gain and boost of strength Hanxtan still remains standing. In order to retaliate Hanxtan lunges his right elbow backwards with his left hand on his right fist to add more strength behind his blow. Hanxtan also jumps backwards to add more distance to his attack. Causing the hit to land on Astrixinch's stomach, leaving Hanxtan relieved.  

[Astrixinch]

The amazing force of the impact sends Astrixinch Skidding across the floor, still upright, but doubled over clutching his stomach. Astirxinch summoned the Longinus back into his hand and plunged it deeply into the ground. His grip on his staf and the sudden stop causes Astrixinch to be thrown violently horrizontal. Astrixinch uses the momentum to swing around his staff and launch back through the air at Hanxtan with double the force of the orriginal blow.  

[Hanxtan]

Hanxtan formed his hands to look as if he was holding a baseball bat, his skin grew lighter but still had a dark color to it. All of a sudden all of the dark pigments in his skin rushed to his upper body. This signified that all of the strength that Hanxtan gained through absorbing Dark Star was now placed in his upper body but mostly his arms. With in the same moment that Hanxtan's skin grew darker a heavy metallic bat formed it's way into Hanxtan's hands. The Bat stood about 4 feet in height and had a circumference of 23 inches. As Astrixinch came speeding toward him Hanxtan yelled, "Here batter batter. . . SWING!" With Astrixinch roughly two feet in front of him and coming in fast Hanxtan thrusted forward and swung with all his added strength.  

[Astrixinch]

Astrixinch did the only thing he could think to do: He grabbed onto the pole, which knocked the wind from his lungs, and gripped with all his strength. As Hanxtan finished his follow-through (he has an excellent swing) Astrixinch dropped nimbly to the ground, massaging his torso. He then struck Hanxtan with a palm-thrust attack witch, ordinarilly would do little to nothing, but when it hit Hanxtan's armored flesh a clone burst out of Astrixinch and made the exact same attack/movement, and out of it came another clone, and another, until Hanxtan had been hit with the same attack in the same extact location 12 times. "I've been working on my unarmed style," Astrixinch grunted emotionlessly still rubbing his aching front "Let me know what you think." he then launched into a flurry of blows, each with clones coppying 12 times.
