"Ireland. Quite a ways away from the green rolling hills..." She wasn't about to pry into his family's life, though she was curious about why he'd moved. After a few more minutes, she glanced down at the violin that rested on her lap before reaching over and picking up the velvet-lined case. Clicking the brass latches open, she gently placed her instrument in and snapped it closed before grabbing at her music sheets.
"It's getting late... I should be heading back soon."

He was indeed a long ways from home. "Aye." Was his simple reply, smiling. When she began to pack up her things, Ciaran watched silently. "S'ppose i'tis gett'n late." He stood and offered a hand to Koorie to help her up. "Maybe I'll see ya t'morrow at school?"

She froze her movements when Ciaran's hand came down to her view and she stared at it silently with an empty expression for a moment. Without a word, she reached up and moved his hand away before standing up herself and reaching around to brush off her bottom.
"Perhaps... Although I wouldn't count on being more than acquaintances. As it is, rumors are bound to spread and that will be a pain in itself."

Ah, it was no point being a gentleman to someone of such strong will, was it? A shame that courtesy was instilled in him since before he could recall. "Ah, I see. Well, friendship grows from bein' acquainted first, aye? 'N who cares bout what others idle gossip is? Dun let it get to ya, no matter what they say." He offered a friendly smile and a wave. "Walk safely. T'was a pleasure meetin' ya, Miss Koorie." With that, Ciaran took his leave.
