"Well, it's definately something to think of..my mother used to be pretty good at skimming the surface of the water as she flew, she could get really low without any danger of falling, I'll have to wheedle the knack of doing it from her.." Elisheva pondered out loud and then smiled at Barinthus.
"We can make a day of it..you can show me all your fishy friends and the little island places that you've discovered when you've gone swimming. And I can show you how this particular bird flies..but for now." and she said the next part with a clear look of regret on her face.
"I think I've taken up enough of your day off, and I should be going myself. It has been..a great pleasure meeting and spending time with you Barinthus." she stepped forward a little, and then stopped.
"Umm..anyway. Like I said, I really hope to see you again. And you know, soon." she transferred the stone he had given her from under her wing to her mouth and flapped her wings, stretching them. She gave him a flourishing wave with both of them and smiled around the stone before taking off, circling above him before flying out of sight.
