Luciana nuzzled Sapir and then she moved to get up. She tugged at Sapir's hoof. "We should think about finding a place to rest..."

I have a cave that I stay in sometimes. It's not all that far from here.
Luciana showed him the spot where the cave was with her mind. It was in the mirror ruins.

Luciana giggled, Then maybe we should make this more interesting. She smiled at him as she pulled away from him and shifted into a wolf so black that it looked blue. She turned and barked at him before darting off into the trees.

His eyes lit up with mischief and delight as he shifted to a larger white wolf with long black streak down his back. he barked back and followed after her, weaving in and out of the trees.

The smaller female wolf wove through the trees with expertise. When she thought she was far enough away from the white wolf, she turned to double back and catch him from behind.

He swished his tail as he trotted along, keeping to her scent. When he smelled that she'd doubled back, he continued on like she hadn't.

Luciana could have squealed with excitement that he'd fallen for her trick. She began creeping up on him from behind, doing her best to stay downwind and silent. The look on his face when she pounced him was going to be priceless.

When he thought she was close enough but hidden enough, he "poofed" and kept his mind blank of anything he intended to do. He drifted quietly to her, hovering just over her and just behind. He waited...

Luciana stopped. She couldn't sense Sapir anywhere. And she couldn't tell where he was from his mind either.

The black wolf yelped in surprise and whirled around.
