I like artists from all ages. Music will come back strong soon I can feel it.
... nah, its probably going to stay as it is...
Gimmicky overly catchy songs to hook the public with a few good ones surfacing here and there.
As for the underground scene... also pretty much the same... filled with a bunch of wanna-be mainstream artists who aren't good enough to sign on to a major record label with the exception of a few awesome bands that could easily become mainstream sensations but choose to stay with an independant record label to avoid a public which they see as 'musically narrow-minded'.
Well that's my prediction anyway
