How long have you been active on Gaia?
A short 2 month spurt in 2004, then since January 2006.
Take any big breaks between then?

How long have you been interested in Cooking?
I think it may have been 4 or 5 years now.
Any favorite TV shows (Cooking and non allowed)?
I don't like cooking shows, strickly books/face to face for me, but I do like WWE and Naruto.
You work somewhere to use your talents for cooking or food knowledge?
From November to January, I worked in a kitchen, I work with my classmates now in a school kitchen and I am going back to my kitchen in the Summer!

How long have you been active on Gaia? I've been active on gaia for over 2 years. February 1st is my Gaiaversary =D
Take any big breaks between then? Pfft, Gaia is my eCrack, I go into withdrawal if I'm not on every day. Unless I'm on vacation where there's no computer around, I'm on Gaia.
How long have you been interested in Cooking? I'm a very food happy fat person =)
Any favorite TV shows (Cooking and non allowed)? Ooo.. Good Eats! Good Eats is my favorite Food Network show. NonFood Show would be....I don't know...Lost.
You work somewhere to use your talents for cooking or food knowledge? Well I don't currently have a job, but this summer I'm hoping to be working at New Season's Market in Portland, Oregon. It's a slightly expensive, organic grocery store.

Not yet but after the summer i will be going to an academy to train.

Why would I want to do that?

I first got into cooking when I was around 10 or 11. It wasn't untill last year that I seriously considered it as a career.
Any favorite TV shows (Cooking and non allowed)?
Too many to count. A ton of anime, some comedy shows (Just For Laughs FTW!). On the Food Network? Chef at Home, the show with Malto Mario...well, generally anything involving Italian cooking.
You work somewhere to use your talents for cooking or food knowledge?
Not as of yet, no. After summer vacation, I'm going to seek employment in a resturaunt and save some money to go to the Art Institue in Vancouver. Then, if I'm really lucky, I'd like to go to Italy. Lots of cooking at home, though.

All of them are cooking shows. Good Eats, Paula's Home cooking, Everday Italian, Any of Rachel Rays shows, and of course Iron Chef ( both versions)

No I do not...I am a stay at home soon to be mom( I think...I see the doc tomorrow to find out if I'm pregnant or not.) and I love to cook lots of pasta and chicken meals for my hubby. I'm having trouble with my fried Chicken, but I can do up chicken nuggets like there's no tomorrow.

I've been interested since I was young, but there was a time that I was awful. Now I cook every day and the more creative, the better.

TV? What's that? I don't watch much tv. I do catch the odd cooking show with that hottie...hmmm...what was his name? The guy that cooks food on car engines. xd Also catch Emiril Lagasse on occasion. BAM! I work hard and play harder so tv is not something I see a lot of. sweatdrop

I used to be a cook for an exclusive Golf Club in BC. Those were good times. I cook every day now, but usually only at home. I will cook for parties too when I get time. I love to cook. heart heart heart Sakura-Kyoukan raved about your guild and he knows there are a lot in the guild who love to cook, so here we are. Great banner! xd

Hey =)
Joined a couple of days ago. Finally found some time to make a first post here. I'm 16 if anyone is curious.
I've been on gaia... well I dont know, perhaps over a year? maybe two? well, you can go look on my look up.
So gaia wise..well i'm turning my gaia home into a kitchen. Red and white kitchen. 3nodding I have a problem though, house isnt saving. stressed
Anyway, I heart food. I enjoy making food. But Im no pro at it. sweatdrop
Ehh.. so I think this is a good enough intro. 3nodding

How long have you been active on Gaia? sinnnnce Oh crap....last year. Spring. I think it's March. But i had an account before this one so i've been here around 1.7 years.
Take any big breaks between then? Television...my g/f...and Call of Duty 2 breaks.
How long have you been interested in Cooking? well, i used to want to be a chef, however i'm going into art school and i figured out that cooking is only good in my spare time, and once i eat it. hehee.
Any favorite TV shows (Cooking and non allowed)? Good Eats with Alton Brown, the old school Iron Chef, CSI Las Vegas, and various cartoons (not necessarily anime)
You work somewhere to use your talents for cooking or food knowledge? Not at all. The only cooking i do is in my kitchen when my dad lets me grill and stir fry.

Anyway, I have been on Gaia since... sometime 04, but I really had not been very active until about a year ago.
But anyway, I love food. I LOVE garlic. I think the stinking rose is divine.
I am not much of a good chef myself, but I certainly appreciate all the hard work and artistry that goes into cooking.
I think my favorite things to cook would have to be cakes. I am a sucker for sweets. ^__^
I am fortunate to live with an awesome friend who cooks really well. We are well-fed for college students. Maybe we are a little too well fed. *pokes at soggy middle*

I'm scamp745. I've been a member on Gaia since March 31 of this year. Haven't really taken any breaks since then... Maybe for 2 days, but that is it. I don't really watch too much TV recently but I do occasionally watch 30 Minute Meals, Everyday Italian and Emeril. And I currently do not work somewere where I can show my cooking talents since I'm still in highschool. But I do plan on going to a summer program at Johnson & Whales to learn more about cooking. I've loved to cook ever since I was a little kid (4-5 years old). Yay for easy bake oven cakes. 3nodding biggrin
I love to cook mainly desserts, such as cakes and cookies. I occasionally cook sweets to bring into my classes, such as birthday cakes or sweets for presentations. I love to cook, not only because it is fun, but because it makes people happy and I love to make people happy.

Well, I had a moderately long one last week, when my computer died. But, other than that... not really.

Interested, since I was about 12 or so. Though, sadly, interest does not necessarily equate to talent or ability. ^.^

I LOVE the original Iron Chef. I've lost way too many bets off of that show... sweatdrop Though, other than that, I love watching Good Eats(I make a point of it to watch it every day if I can. biggrin ), and Duck Dodgers.

No, sadly. I'm working on learning HOW to cook proficiently, since I am going to be moving out on my own. It's kind of a useful skill, ya know.
