Untamed Bewilderment *Lunar sat there smiling, deep in her thought now. While she gave advice to her friend, she thought herself about these things. Slowly her past and journey through life were coming a bit clearer. Things were changing. She could think clearer.*
"Your....your very welcome." ChevalBunita Fuega nodded, breathing a little easier now that she at least had some direction to go in. In this walk of life things could be hard and brutal, the road of existence didn't exactly seem like a breath of fresh air. But, even when a soul was at its weakest she was pleased to know that somehow someway, there was always someone around to pull her back out of the void. And when worst came down to it she supposed she really didn't have it all that bad. Afterall, most wolves her age would maim and kill for a chance to have what she had. A family, a family, why she remembered the times when she herself would wonder aimlessly with no real care for own well being, thats how low the rabbit hole went. But, now she was looking after others and that....well that felt good.
"I should let them meet you someday," she said warmly, breaking out of her reverie for a few moments. "They would like that I'm sure.."
Untamed Bewilderment *Lunar backed up slowly*
"Er....Maybe that is not such a good idea. I rough housing with one of you is fun, but I don't think I can handle all of the pups. Not if they are like their mother"
*She could not help but laugh after the statement. To her the mood had gone back to joy. It was not her fault, she just felt warm and happy. She wanted to have some fun. She wanted to laugh. Through this want she got just what it was she needed. It was natural this time. Not a fake like others. She was very jocose.* ChevalBunita
Fuega chuckled at Lunar, her mood light and playful and she was thankful once more that the other wolf had brought it out of her. "I don't think they are much for playing, always have in their own little world," she grinned, stretching slightly and letting her tail swish back and forth behind her. She jolted forward and slightly nudged her shoulder against Lunar, her icy blue eyes lighting up as her mind danced with happy thoughts inside her head.
"I myself haven't played and rough housed in such a long time!" she said with a sloppy almost puppyish grin.
Untamed Bewilderment *Lunar just backed up and then turned around rubbing her tail up against Fuega's muzzle playfully*
"That is a good thing. Your not a mother, that means no more playing. Your OLD now. Elder wolves cannot play. They might hurt themselves."
*Lunar looked over her shoulder with a smirk towards the she-wolf.* ChevalBunita Fuega snorted in, shaking her head away from Lunar's tail. "I am not OLD," she scoffed, though all in jest, "I'm just.....oh tcht, I've only had four pups, why I bet I could have forty and could still run and play with the best of them...." She grinned widely and then rushed at Lunar playfull nipping at her ear and then dancing back quickly, a few girlish giggles escaping her maw.

Untamed Bewilderment *Lunar laughed at this and reared on her hind legs before she jumped forward toward Fuega.*
"Look what you have started"
*Lunging forward and nipping then jumping back. The whole melodically dance of a pup. Yet shown in two adult female wolves.* ChevalBunita Fuega barked out with an underlined howl behind it. Oh goodness, was she having loads of fun. Instantly her family was all but forgotten and she sent a few more nips flying towards Lunar. She let a slow and wry grin slip to her face before she nudged her again and muttered, "Tag," before tearing down a ways, stopping and barking once before running a bit more ahead.
Untamed Bewilderment *Lunar looked shocked at the tagging.*
"How dare you. We both know.......That you should be it!"
*With that Lunar gave a Howl of delight and pushed her body forward down the path towards Fuega. Her fur shifting as she ran, her ears laid back, her mouth open, and barks of menacing threats coming out of it*
"I'm going to get you good when I catch up to you!" ChevalBunita Anyone watching the two would have been greatly confused, they looked indeed like pups at play, only they weren't pups! "Oh but you'll have to catch up to me first!" Fuega playfull taunted, putting on another burst of speed despite the fact that Lunar was closing on her fast. She surely enjoyed the game and the time away from the duties of motherhood.
Untamed Bewilderment *Running toward Fuega Lunar jumped into the air trying to land right behind her, but smiled halfway through the jump and missed completely . She crashed into a bush and there was no movement behind the bush. The accident looked as if she had missed and hit the bush with force, though it was not hard at all.* ChevalBunita Fuega blinked once when the other wolf did not connect with her body and she suddenly turned around, staring at the bush and Lunar in dismay. She quickly padded over, her icy eyes ever watchful, especially torwards the plantlife. "Are...are you okay?"

Untamed Bewilderment *Silence*
*Then over the bush Lunar jumped landing ontop of the wolf and pushing them both to the ground rolling. Now she was giggling and such just like Fuega. She lay on the ground giggling so much she could barely speak*
"You........i....i....it." ChevalBunita With glee Fuega jumped back in shock and amazement. "Ohhh ho ho.....you sure did fool me!" she yapped out, quite impressed at Lunar's display. She would have to try that one on someone sometime, she would love the look on Cathal's face when she did it. Or perhaps she could teach her pups some day. She quickly recovered and flew after the other female.
Untamed Bewilderment *Lunar rolled over and turned torward the wolf. Now lurching forward toward the she-wolf Lunar growled. The soft playful growl. But her body was not coming toward that of Fuega's*
"Here I come!" ChevalBunita
Fuega was all at once confused, doubling back and looking around, wondering where Lunar was going if not for her. "Hmmm "she audibly wondering, relaxing her body for the moment.
Untamed Bewilderment *Lunar lunged past Fuega headed back the opposite way they came. She was expecting the jump to cause confusion and it seemed to have a bit. But was it enough to keep away from her?*
"You have to be pretty fast to catch me." ChevalBunita
"Oh you fiend!" Fuega playfully snarled as she doubled back and ran after Lunar some more. She was so rapped up in her game that what happened next took even her by surprise. "Do you hear that?" she whispered, stopping and letting her red ears flick back a few times, her icy eyes widening.
Untamed Bewilderment *Lunar stopped instantly looking around. Her ears moved left and right*
"What? What do you hear?"
*She inched closer to Fuega trying to get to where she could hear it also* ChevalBunita
All at once Fuega barked out, "The sound of victory, that's what!" before she happily shot forward and tagged her friend before trotting off.

Fuega/Lumbre - Betrayal....Lust....Love?ChevalBunita Night had fallen and the sun had taken its momentary leave, which brought Fuega's moment of peace. It was like this every night. When the stars began to dance and flicker across the sky as the shimmery orb sent shadows that undulated and twisted with every movement. Sometimes it seemed like it was all for her. All to ease her troubled mind. Cathal, her mate, had gone to sleep and with more effort she had put her puppies to sleep as well. It seemed like a carefree happy enviroment, didn't it?
But it wasn't so. Fuega felt empty inside. She should have had everything right there in their forest den. Her home! But she didn't. Something was missing. Something she needed, no...something she CRAVED. It was as if she was wearing a mask and some unseen puppeteer was busy pulling her strings. Play mother, play mate. Dance puppet dance!
The red one truly felt lost!
Lesotho The moon had finally taken it's rise, the hot summer sun and it's burning brilliance taken it's bow. Oddly enough, this was comforting for the unnamed male. A heavy sigh heaved a heavier chest. The male's coat was indeed marked of the sun, but something about the purple shadows the moon tossed over him was pleasing. Over the horizon, he could still see the bright purples and oranges of the setting sun. Yet another day he had left to wander through this nameless, faceless place. Horizon after horizon, sunrise and sunset after one another, his paws seemed to count the seconds he'd been alone with each droning click or pad across the varying terrain. It was like he moved through a barren wasteland, craving for something he could never put his finger on but always wanted.
In his dreams sometimes, he saw her. The nameless picture of perfection, and she was always just out of reach. He wanted her more than anything, and yet he didn't know who she was. He had never seen her. He was in love with a shadow, living in a mirage. If only he could catch up... to feel something real. But alas, he would forever pound the terrain with his paws, wandering and searching with mis-matched eyes for the soul that would never tire of teasing him.
However, as he moved through the forest and the shadows played across his pelt, he halted abruptly. A scent; sweet like perfume, had caught in his nostrils. He frowned slightly, taking a whiff and letting it enter further inside. What was this sweet fragrance? It seemed... familiar. No, that couldn't be. And yet, here it seemed as if this image of the waterfall was not about to vanish and leave him panting in the sand. Something was here. He had to find out what. He moved silently, white tipped paws the only silent forerunner of his body. Cutting in between trees and brush, he came to a small clearing. He halted once again, eyes wide and catching the moonlight's glimmer. Through those richly colored eyes, he saw something.
Could it be? He wasn't sure. He made a cautious approach, noting the scents and sounds of sleeping bodies nearby. Yet, this wolf had appeared before him, her red and bronze pelt captivating somehow, like a gypsy's dance. It drew him in, step by step, until he was a few yards away, and fully exposed, simply staring. ChevalBunita
The red one smelt his strong musky scent before her icy blue eyes had befallen him. Fuega was so wrapped in her own thoughts, her own inner questions that it took her a few seconds to notice the male was standing there. Her mind was on her pups, one after the other, then to her mate and his alter. The confusion and putrid division they all seemed to face. They were such the odd family, they were. Each in their own right. Even she! Even she had her moments were Cathal's bloodlust rubbed off on her, even her own son seemed to want nothing more then to live off the taste of blood and fear. And the girls? Oh heavens above, their mind's were conflicted messes. Oftentimes she wondered if such ailments would take hold of her, that she too would fall victim to that which made her family so strange and different.
Yet, on moonlit nights such as these she knew it wasn't so. She had clarity of mind and that was more then she could say for her loved ones. As sad and as sorry as it truly seemed. After the moments ticked by like a snail on the back of a running beast, seconds that seemed like hours, she finally then decided to address the newcomer. Afterall, her lover was asleep as with her offspring and she was the only one awake to protect them.
And yet...
"Who are you?" she said in soft tones that she had meant to come out harsh.
Lesotho An ear flicked back momentarily as the two stood in silence, her deep blue orbs seemingly looking through him as if he were an apparition. Then, finally recognition clicked in her gaze, and she saw him and not the forest, and not her family inside. For a moment, an unnamed, vicious desire rose to his consciousness, but he quickly batted it away. He listened keenly, detecting the intent of the words though the tone itself didn't imply it. It was as if her voice had faultered in it's accusation. As if she wanted something of him. Taking this into consideration, he took a few steps toward her, his body relaxed though his height gave him the look of dominance. He stopped, taking a silent whiff and testing her base scent for any indications of stress or fear. He scented little more than the stale fear for her family, and so he let it be. He was not here to hurt her, afterall, though some primal force within was hinting at something sinister. Again, he pushed it aside.
"I, myself, have been given many a name," He started out slowly, gauging her reactions to his deep, somewhat melodic voice. He meant no harm, and he tried as best as he could to smooth the gruffness from his seldom-used vocals. "Most commonly, they call me Lumbre. And you?" He had a casual, wayward way about him... but something told him this was the place he should be standing, even when an inner urge told him to keep running. Something else... something deeper... rooted his feet here. ChevalBunita
At his named, she flinched. Heaven could only say WHY she flinched, but her body did so without reason. Perhaps it was because power was in a name and just at the one uttered phrase she felt he had gained a little over her. Shouldn't it have been the other way 'round? If so then why, why was she beginning to feel herself get drawn in like a moth to a bright and Jezebel like flame. Taunting, twisting her fears and hestitations into something more deeper. Her icy blue eyes studied his markings, his mismatched eyes and the obvious fact that he was a large massive creature. He had to be larger then Cathal and then some. Maybe he wasn't, maybe it was because Cathal walked in a stoop or maybe....no, no and no again. She was making excuses, why was she? What mattered who was the bigger wolf.
"Fuega."
Her name uttered from her maw before her weary mind had even time to rest. She blinked once and then let her eyes tick back up and down him, almost without course and fear that he might retaliate while her orbs moving over his body so freely. The way his red pelt with white markings seemed to twist and dance in the moonlight. The way his muscles jutted out from his fur. He was younger then Cathal she noted. Closer to her age, maybe even younger. She was doing it again! Sending a silent prayer to no one she began urging her mind to be quiet. Something about this strange wolf was crosswiring her brain. Making her think upon thoughts unwanted.

Lesotho Oh, yes. He saw the way she had flinched ever so slightly under the power of his name. There was something here. It was as if he was seeing her again for the first time since he had came through the clearing now. He could see her eyes softly roaming over his body, judging his height first and foremost. It was true that he was a large wolf by any standards, and something inside told him it was finally good for something. He waited, hanging on, it seemed, to once again hear that sweet voice escape her jaws.
And then it came, delivering a sweet-like-honey name to his ears. It instantly drew him nearer, at least in attention, and again her eyes were roaming his body, this time sizing different aspects of himself. He glanced toward the den, knowing there were pups inside. Her pups, he could smell it. And her mate. If she was so content with a family of her own... why was she sizing him up like this? Was there really something inside? Had he actually detected something correctly this time? So many times he had thought he was finally in the right place, and so many times he was scorched and moved on again. Now, however, was different.
His mismatched eyes finished following hers over his body, returning the favor. They roamed over her every curve, studying the shape of her muzzle, the keeness to her ears and sharpness of her eyes. She had a young, burdened face. Her body was slender, he noted, and nicely toned as well. Indeed, she was a fine specimen; a creature worthy of much. Yet, she seemed to be secretly suffering a miserable fate here. He couldn't see why without seeing Cathal, but perhaps... perhaps she would take a walk with him. He glanced away from her again, then let his eyes settle on her face.
"Fuega. It suits you." ChevalBunita
She nodded at his uttered words, though in her heart of hearts she didn't believe it. Her whole life she had prayed and searched for something she she would be suited for, be it anything. And she thought she had found it here! A family! Wasn't that all she was supposed to become? Faithful mate, faithful mother. For all her trying and for all her wanderings, wasn't she supposed to just bed down and bring forth Cathal's next generations? And yet, every night when the moon showed its glimmery face, when the witching hour was high upon her she would sneak out of her den. She would make sure Cathal and the pups breathing had grown heavy and then she would pad out, quiet as a mouse. The being quiet part wasn't hard for her, oh no, not for the red one. She had done it before when she had slaughtered her own parents, and again when she had helped to suppliment Cathal's bloodlust which had won over his alter, Dougal, in a way.
It was the lying part that was driving her mad. That and the fact that she felt so compelled to get away from her den. Away from them! But, why? For many moons she had done it and she could not yet figure out why. Now, seeing the wolf, just seeing him was making her question her own inner motivations and desires.
"Lumbre," she said rolling out her 'r' like every drop produced the sweetest taste she had ever tongued. "It suits you too. Have you travelled far?" She padded further up to him, keeping her voice low so that the others might not here. Inwardly scoldling herself for not biting and ripping him where he stood.
Lesotho He watched her movements, feeling her presence ever growing nearer, rooting deeper within him. Her eyes seemed to reach into his body, seeking out his soul and grabbing hold. It was intense, and it compelled him to move in ways he seldom had before. He was just a wanderer, why should she be interested in him? He didn't know. He suddenly knew very little about himself. Very little about the world. He wanted to learn again... and that intoxicating scent was drifting ever nearer, and nearer still when she came toward him against her better judgement. He could see the hesitation in her stride, as if something was pulling her closer but she couldn't see what it was. She kept her voice low, speaking his name as it was meant to be spoken. A small, soft smirk curved his black lips up, causing his emerald orb to squint ever so slightly.
Following her lead, he lowered his head so that he could be nearer her ear. He strained his ears to catch her sweet utterances. He nodded in response to her question, not elaborating. Instead, he turned, taking a step away from her, and then pausing, glancing back. "How's about we move somewhere we can't interrupt their slumber?" His voice was soft, barely carrying the baritone vocal at all. He could see her concern, and wanted to put her mind at ease however he could. Odd he felt that way about someone he had just met. ChevalBunita
His large head was so near, so very near. That musky male scent trapped itself within her nostrils and took hold of her mind as he leaned in closer, his breath wafting against her ear. The red one flickered it once and then she felt her own eyes half close, almost as if he was hypnotizing her with that strong masculine scent. Everything about him seemed to be gripping inside her chest, settling itself inside her stomach and rooting itself, never to be pulled out again. She could feel her body sway almost light as a feather with just his breaths and smells alone. Two creatures alone in the woods, meeting by chance. That was all that they were. Yet, the sights, the sounds, and oh god the smells. Was this chance? Or some distant memory. Had she known him in but a dream? Or was there a stronger play here? She knew not, but Fuega DID know that such thoughts would only lead her into more trouble.
At his question and defaulted invitation she swung her head back 'round towards her den. Her icy blue eyes almost staring into the shadowed forms of her family. He knew what they were, what she was. Who she was bound to! Surely, that was supposed to mean something. Surely, if Cathal knew what she was doing he would be jealous and enraged, and her pups....would they look at her the same?
"After you," she whispered, every undulation her vocals made carrying great weight with them. Hinting at something even she was still trying to understand.
Lesotho His small smirk widened into a gentle smile as she whispered her reply. His eyes swept over her figure as it moved cautiously, her neck arching elegantly as she turned to observe the sleeping forms. Something within him screamed, in that instant her eyes were off him. They wanted more, they wanted it all. He could feel it, tugging at his heart right through the white patch that protected it. That before unnamed feeling was beginning to surface again, and it was a lot more than he had originally anticipated. Her response was all he needed before he picked up a slow, casual stroll, the cadence of his paws practiced and regular. He kept his strides long and slow so she could keep up, knowing that she was petite in comparison.
He snuck glances at her as they moved, studying the way her musculature shifted between that shimmering pelt, seeming as if the hue was made to match perfectly with his own. Her feminine melding with his masculine, creating a perfect balance. He was unsure of where he was going, and eventually he just so happened to stumble upon a small pond and clearing. The moonlight danced off the water, still as glass. He went to it's edge, perching his front paws on a small slate rock and gazing down at his reflection momentarily. It was crystal clear on the surface. He turned, his eyes silently coaxing her to come, to be next to him and look into the reflections.
He wanted to see what she saw. The world through the eyes of a melted, bonded being who knew no gender, age, or pure form. He wanted to melt with her until they were the same creature. And where did this urge come from? From his dreams? He didn't know, and the whole thing was surreal. He just wanted to keep it going, as long as possible.

ChevalBunita
Fuega urged her eyes off of his body as they walked together in the lightened path, curtesy of the great big orb above them. The red one kept her icy eyes straight ahead, looking neither to the left nor to the right, cautiously aware of what would happen if she kept looking over at him. Oh if only Cathal knew. He would be upset, and even hurt, if he knew she went out every night to be alone. What bits of blood and skin he would shed if he knew what she was doing now! Jealously would rear its ugly green head in the shape and form of Dougal and he would most likely kill her. And after he was done with her perhaps he would go after their children. No! Not her puppies. Perhaps there was still some bit of humanity left in him that he would spare the children and kill her with nothing more to happen. But oh Backus! He hated the lone male and she knew that without her to protect him her puppy would surely die.
Worried thoughts jumbled around in her head as she did what her mind was screaming against and she sat down next to him, even close enough for their skin and fur to be touching and intermingling. It was then that she noticed the water, and the beautiful sky that reflected off from it. It was such a sight to see! One that almost brought tears to her bluest light eyes. Inching forward she did as Lumbre and stared into the water, seeing a confused yet delicate face staring back at her.
"I shouldn't be here...." she mumured, though had not yet torn her gaze from her own reflection yet.
Lesotho As she took a seat beside him, he could feel her warmth beside him. Her body against his sent chills up his spine, though he did not visibly shiver. Instead, he lived through her. He felt her pain and worry and a gentle frown graced his features as he looked at his reflection within the water. He glanced to hers, seeing that beautiful face reflected back at her, then turned his head moreso, letting the tip of his nose rest just beside her cheek. It was as if her whole body trembled with fear for what would happen when the sun came up, but he knew better. The sun would never come up so long as she was here; this was her moonlit paradise. He had brought her to it, and knew that she saw the beauty in it. The beauty that reflected in her eyes.
He let his muzzle linger, short whiskers just long enough to tickle her ear though he didn't touch her. "Shhhh..." he cooed softly, though he did not shift his weight to be closer to her. He knew the words themselves would draw her near. "Relax, Fuega. Nothing is going to happen to us. Nothing you don't want." The last bit he added in a slightly lower tone, wondering if she was feeling the same urge as himself. His eyes flickered to the reflection on the water and he set his head beside hers, their reds melting together on the water's surface. "Look." He said quietly, barely above a whisper, as he caught her gaze, though only in the water, forcing her to look nowhere else than down at the intermingling wolf forms. ChevalBunita
She saw it, and oh god did she feel it. Coursing throughout her body and stopping itself into places she feared to name. Desires deep inside of herself that made her skin switch and her heart pound hard against her chest. Nothing you don't want, his strong and healthy voice echoed around and around inside of her head. But therein was the problem. She DID want things she shouldn't be wanting and she DID have thoughts she shouldn't be having. Fear of what Cathal would do to her or the puppies should have been her first and foremost concern, but instead those gripping fears was soon replaced by a gripping lust. Selfish she knew. But, she was a slave to her own needs, and looking down into their intermingled reflections, red upon darker red, whites mixed with bronzes, she knew that he could give her what she needed.
Something Cathal could never do. Her mate was a slave much like she was. But he was a slave to his own disturbing mind, his own darker half. And because of that the red one was almost always pushed down into the dirt, snout first, whenever she and her mate exchanged words. Sometimes literally but more often then not it was only a belittling ordeal. And she was growing weary of it. That was not to say her mate was a bad wolf, but his darker half was.
Wasn't that a crime in itself? Didn't she have every reason and right to feel lonely and empty? Was love, even just an once of it, even if this was just for one night, was THAT to much to ask for?
"I want...." she breathed out, stopping before she squeazed her eyes shut, her guilt almost tearing her apart as she soon whispered, "you." Time Passes....chevalbunita Fuega could see it, almost like a Chesire cat grinning at them for what they had just done. What she HAD just done. She winced while the studied it, as the sky began to change colors, as if taunting her even more for the happiness she had waited a lifetime for. "Stay with me until morning?" she asked laying on her stomach and resting her head on her paws.Lesotho "Of course" he murmured softly, taking a seat, then lowering his torso to the ground beside her. He was no longer afraid to allow her to lean into him. In fact, he was quite open to it. He kept his head up, waiting to see if she'd move closer or not in the grey dawn. chevalbunita She did lean into him, her head pressed up against him with need. Though a different kind now. He was her light at the end of a long and weary tunnel and for a fleeting moment, as she closed her eyes and fell into slience with him, she wondered if this was love. Lesotho After she leaned into him, he lowered his head some, giving the back of her ear a gentle lick before he laid his head down beside hers, closing his eyes. He, too, was wondering the same thing. This sudden compassion; flame between them. Was this what love really was? Had he found it? chevalbunita Soon Fuega found herself falling into a deep revere. She knew that she should get up and bathe in the pond, to get his stench off of herself before Cathal came calling. But for now, in this moment, she wanted to be with him.

Fuega/Lumbre - Tell me liesChevalBunita s**t s**t s**t What was she going to do!! Fuega half closed her eyes as some of the moonlight trickled in through the treetops. Branches filtered out the bulk of the light so it wasn't that the poor gamma's icy blue eyes were at all effected. Oh no. The fem was scrunching up her features so tightly, eyes shutting lid to lid, because she was worried. That emotion and many more even. As she exited her den, her home that she and Cathal had built together, the sad fact remained that she was in very deep water and her paws were weighted down. She was drowning in a sea of guilt and lust and if she wasn't careful it just might consume her.
She could feel them around inside of her. She could tell it wasn't as many as before, but all the same. Oh all the same.... they were there. She was scared! Cathal would know, he would know what she had done and with who. She had just bore puppies, how could this work now? How could this happen. How could she look into the eyes of the wolf she had first fallen for and explain to him that she was beginning to look after another. Be it love or lust, her eyes were still one someone else. How could she save herself and her offspring from his future wrath? Would Lumbre be around to save them? Or would he even care?
Lesotho He hung back in the shadows. Every night, he laid by the little lake the two had encountered and stared down into the waters from his rock perch. Every night he waited there, wondering if she would return. He hadn't seen her since they fell asleep together that night, when the sun was just threatening to come up. He was worried. What if her mate had caught on and done something? But no, he knew that couldn't be. He often made his way close enough to be within smelling range of the den, and he could smell her scent there. He knew it was fresh, and that she was still around. But his thoughts still plagued and perplexed him. He didn't know what was going to happen. Had they really done what he remembered? Had they really... committed the act....? Was she going to bear puppies because of it, or was it all some sick, twisted dream? Well, he sat up, flicking pebbles and sand into the water, destroying the picture perfect stillness. He would find out, he had a feeling. Tonight, he would. ChevalBunita Fuega had to see him, again. Maybe even one last time. Though it had been quite some moons ago she still remembered him, still remembered the way the looked and smelled. Sometimes, on crystal clear nights like this, when the air was heavy and pressed in on all sides, sometimes she coud even feel him. When they had been last together it was carnal, violent, and she loved every minute of it. From the vile things they had done together to the fact that he had stayed with her until morning. Perhaps Lumbre had only been doing that because of the afterglow. But, perhaps not. Maybe there was even something deeper there. She didn't know, but she wanted it.
She did and that was wrong. So very wrong. But, what could she do now? Other then tell him. Yes, she had to tell him. But how to find the words? And how to find him?
Lesotho He sighed heavily, closing his eyes. It was as if she was still laying there beside him, intoxicating him with her sweet scent. He yearned for her to be there now, resting her head along his back or next to his own. He wanted to wuff small breaths along her ear and whisper sweet nothings until dawn. He wanted to be with her, more than anything. He squeezed his eyes shut, letting a small whine escape. He couldn't bear to think of her sitting there in her den, with her mate and children being miserable. He wanted her here, out in the open and away from the stress Cathal threw on her. He would protect her... the pups would be old enough soon that they wouldn't need their mother, and Cathal sounded like an old pushover from what she'd told him.
Oh, if only she could be here now. If only she could find him. Every day he traced their trail through the woods, and left a scent trail behind. Every night he paced, hoping that she would catch wind of his stale scent and follow. Hoping she would appear here again and see him. He wanted her so badly. He wanted her to be beside her. He remembered that night, now long ago in his memory; they had made love. Sweet love. If only she could be here now. Fuega... the name matched her perfectly. He could see that smothered spark within her... he knew he could build it up and harbor the flame. He wanted to call her to life again, get her away from the stress and sadness. Have a life with her. But he couldn't. He couldn't risk calling out or going back, that would cause trouble. So, he just laid and hoped. Night after night he did, praying that she would come back. Praying that the sign of true love would not be rejected. ChevalBunita She rocked her body back and forth slightly as if debating whether or not she should venture forward. Fuega's paws had already touched the threshold where saftey divided against danger. That bitter sweet line of the life she had and was used to edged against the chaotic life that Lumbre was drawing her towards. She stared down at the shadowed earth underneath her. Her icy blue eyes glinting in the moonlight and then loosely the glint entirely, much like the narrowed void of her soul. Truly they were windows, and truly was she lost. She let out a deep breath of forced air and then lifted her head up, mind racing.
On one side of the rotted tree stump she had Cathal, who was crazy but still likeable, but on the other she had Lumbre, who was younger then even she and as hot and passionate as a thunderstorm in the summer. She could have either. But....what DID she want. WHO did she want. The road less travled or the weary world she was constantly fearing to tread. Cathal was not all there, that much she knew. That much they ALL knew. Even her pups had inherrited a deep rooted malignancy in the form of lunacy. But, in a way she did love Cathal. As rude and evil as his darker half, Dougal, was she still had feelings for him. And they had puppies together! Her four children that she loved greatly. But, then Lumbre factored in. Did she love him? She did not....she didn't...
and yet...if she didn't love him. And what they had was only a fling then why was she still craving? Why was she still so desperate for his touch?
Why did she still smell him?

Lesotho After what felt like ages, Lumbre couldn't take it anymore. He was sure by now his far off lovely would be asleep. And if not asleep, then pretending to be. He pushed against the ground, giving his body a hoist upward. Stretching out his toes, he let out a yawn which bore his pearly fangs. Maybe one waltz back towards the forbidden side of the world wouldn't hurt. He gave his tail a swish in frustration. He had sworn he'd wait for her here, and if she came then it was truly love. Not just some random act of lust. It couldn't have been... not on his part. He loved her. He could openly say that his deep, intensely buried feelings were there now; strongly rooted. He wanted to capture her... he wanted to make light with her... love with her.
So, he started toward the wooded path, now quite easy to see. There was a small stretch of forest separating her and him, he knew. Though he wanted to go forward, something stopped him. Suddenly, he realized he didn't want to go. He didn't want to force her into this. It was her choice, and he was stupid to want something that was already claimed... not his, even if she had told her she was. He had claimed her... wrongfully so. He stood, faultering and letting out a supressed whine. He wanted her... he wanted her now. He wanted her to appear and justify all these feelings inside. But he couldn't go to her. He had to wait. And so, he stared into the woods with mismatched eyes, and he did the only thing he could do. Sat down, and waited. ChevalBunita Finally her torture mind waned off into a more dangerous territory...desire. It wasn't some unnamed lust, not something that could be easily acted upon and easily forgotten. Oh no....this was something much MUCH deeper. But who knew the rabbit hole went with her feelings. She didn't. She really truly didn't. No, the only thing Fuega knew was that she was now placing one paw after the other, and the other. Steady slow steps. Why...why...WHY?? Her mind was screaming against this treachery, but in her mind's eye the only thing she could see was his face. His body. All of him. And she wanted to be close again. She wanted to feel his soft breathing against her neck and to feel the ever thumping of his heart.
She thought not of Cathal, not of her four puppies, or the den she had tucked away her life in. No, no. What Fuega thought was only of Lumbre and how good he made her feel. How much of a woman she was, and how WANTED she could be. Fuega hadn't felt that. Not in a while, maybe not ever. Yes, Cathal had made her feel moments of pleasure time and again. The puppies were living proof of that. But, with Lumbre it was different. With Lumbre she could feel that twisting turning yearning that clenched at her body and made her his. But... she wasn't his. Lumbre was not attached to her. Cathal's was.
But, this fact did not stop the red one. Still she moved, slowly and surely through the forest. Inching away and away from her den and her family. Closer to Lumbre. But, it'll be okay her tired mind whispered inside of her. If you can just see him....one last time...maybe then...maybe then it would be enough.
Lesotho How long had he been sitting there at the edge of the path he'd worn down over the months? All those months between Fuega and himself... since their last pleasurable meeting. He didn't know. He didn't know how many nights he'd wandered through there hoping she would follow him back. And yet something made him faithful. Something told him she was coming. He just had to be patient, and she would be delivered. And, lo and behold, just when he was beginning to think he would spend another night in solitude, he heard something. Soft paw-falls along his path. Could it be that something sinister had found their little oasis? He pushed the thought instantly from his mind. It was her. He was sure of it. And he rose to his feet then, eyes straining into the thin shadows of the trees. Searching for her, wanting to see her body and smell the desire once again. To be close, to love, to share.
And now she was coming closer, her footfalls were strengthening in an easy pace, and he knew what he wanted. He was sure. If she came through the trees and came to his side, she would not leave it. He could feel it deep inside, tugging at some unnamed emotion and twisting until he wanted to cry out because it felt so good, and yet hurt so much. He could hear his pulse quicken just at the thought of her body being near again, his eyes flutter at the thought of her scent. He needed her. And now... now she was coming. ChevalBunita Closer....closer...almost there. The red one's head was dipped low, icy blue eyes staring into the nothingness that her mind was bringing. She couldn't think about what she was about to do. Because thinking upon it meant that she would go straight for the consequences. And that resulted in her turning tail and heading back towards the den like the low dog she felt at the moment. She knew how wrong she was. How horrible such an act was. Betrayl meant death. And it was a matter of time before she died at Cathal's envious jaws. He would find out. The creatures turning over and over inside her stomach would make sure of that. New puppies. Opening deeper scars. New ones forming.
Oh what maddness did love bring! And what folly was hers for reveling in it. But, still....still she wanted the soft whispers and rough touches. Things that only Lumbre could provide. Things that only HE had, strength, stamina and then some. Oh god did she want to be near him. Just to SEE him was driving her mad. And the scent now clinging to her nostrils, his scent, wasn't helping in the least.
Lesotho Finally, he could hear her. Small huffs of breath as she moved along through the woods. And at last the moonlight caught upon her coat, turning it purple in the night. His eyes went wide in excitement, the moon filling them with light that could penetrate any raincloud. There she was. It was as if time slowed down, and he could watch her body, tracing every curve as she moved towards him. Bridging the gap, at last, between them. As if an angel had stepped out from heaven to take care of his troubled thoughts. Seeing her, he tried so hard to supress his emotions. He couldn't, and a whine that turned into a yelp escaped him, his tail beating back and forth furiously. He was instantly upright, his front paws dancing back and forth to match his tail, waiting for her to be close enough, waiting for contact. Come to me, Fuega, he seemed to say, though he spoke no words. Come. ChevalBunita It was as if she heard him. Every breath of air escaping his maw, every uttering and sound wafting out. She half closed her eyes, almost feeling him against her once more. It could have drove her as mad as Cathal if she let it. Would she give in? Would she committ more and more acts of adultery? Cheat on her mate, cheat on her pups, and cheat herself into thinking this was something more then a quick thrust in the darkened woods.
Maybe she could.
Maybe she would.
"Lumbre...." she whispered, tearing away from her mind to escape into the depths of hell and instantiy. And all to be with him.

Lesotho The instant that sweet voice escaped her muzzle, he felt that inner hurt melt into a blast of warm chills. There she was, she had come back. But what did it mean? And.... my god, she looked fat since last time he'd seen her. Upon further examination and sniffing, he wondered if she was with child again. He hadn't thought yet that they might be his children, he only thought Cathal had once again claimed what Lumbre wanted so badly. And yet, her presence being so real made him want to lunge at her. He wanted to nuzzle into her neck, n** at her throat and ears, tumble on the grass... he just wanted to be with her. Something told him to hold back, however, when he caught a glimmer of something in Fuega's eyes. Instead, he ran his tongue over his lips dryly, letting out another small whine before replying simply, as if it were the name he was born to speak. "Fuega.... you came." ChevalBunita "I had to," she whispered softly, dryly. As if each utterance of hers was meant to be her teeth baring into his flesh. It should have been. Truly. She should have killed this intruder before he even had a chance to speak. Oh god, why didn't she kill him. He was far bigger then Cathal even, and she would have killed her before she could even rear back no doubt, but it would mean this mess would have never gotten started.
"We have to talk," she whispered, icy blue eyes never meeting his. As if shame and fear were weighting her down.
Lesotho A faint trace of hurt flickered in his eyes as her harsh whisper bit into him. What had happened? Was something wrong with her? Had Cathal done something? At that thought, a snarl rose in his throat and he fought hard to swallow it. Her sweet eyes wouldn't raise to meet his own. Something was terribly, terribly wrong. He wanted to run to her side; to protect her... but he could see it in her body and hear it in her voice. It was not the time to be overly supportive. She was right, they had to talk. Only now there was something else in her voice... something less gripping. Again, he bit his tongue and suppressed his urges. He forced his tail to stop it's beating, and even lowered his body a bit. All he wanted to do was be a comfort to her... but he didn't know how. This wolf... the wolf from his dreams, the one he felt simply destined to be with... was someone elses. He didn't know what she wanted, so he only nodded silently, swallowing the lump in his throat and turning, as if leading her on a golden tether away from the woods where it would be safest to talk. ChevalBunita She was thankful for the eb and flow of silence as she followed without so much as a soft breath out. She was waiting, with bated breaths and large bugged eyes that were full of sorrow and pain. How could this be happening to her? Her whole life she was but a throwaway girl, a cast off that was only to be desired but never to be loved. Wasn't that what her life was meant to be? With Cathal and her puppies she really felt like she had a home, something she had always wanted. But no, no....no that wasn't what she wanted. Because the love in their relationship was one sided. But, wasn't it here too?
Finally she followed him fully and dared to let her eyes roam his body, the ugly monster known as lust rearing its great head once more as she looked at every curve and contour that made up the wolf called Lumbre. God, she wanted him. All of him. She wanted to give herself unto him once more and greater then that she just wanted to be loved.
"I'm pregnant," she said suddenly, her vocals cutting into the air like the razor sharp teeth of the greatest beast.
Lesotho He slipped an occational glance back to her as the two moved toward the water. He kept an ear slightly cocked to the side, listening for any small indication of life. He heard very little, which worried him greatly. He turned, his back now to the lake that had been the perfect setting for their rendez-vous, and his eyes fell on her. Her words cut deep into him, and it seemed as if he couldn't breathe after the initial sharp intake. She was pregnant... and she was telling him... because they were his children! He froze for a full moment, in a state of complete shock. At length, he stuttered out a short phrase, sounding as if someone was choking him or grasping at his windpipe as he did. "O-o-ours.....?" ChevalBunita "Yours," she corrected, her eyes daring once more to connect to his, instantly getting lost. Her words cut deep, she knew that, and she knew it even more when she uttered, "I don't want them...." At that she bowed her head and turned away from him. Red pelted body seeming to grow darker as wayward clouds drifted over the shimmering orb above them. Fuega was a mother and she loved her puppies greatly. There was no feeling in the world like bearing a child, holding it, looking after your offspring. And yet, she wanted to get rid of these little monsters inside of her. Whether that's truly what she meant, and it was no surprise to know that it wasn't how she felt deep down, she still wanted it to hurt him. Because maybe if she hurt him. Maybe if he knew that she didn't want his seed, his offspring, then maybe he would leave. He would leave and she could abandone the pups to let them die.
Would her life return to normal then?

Lesotho At first, he was again shocked. This dream... this image of perfection standing in front of him was bearing his children... and yet... she said they were his only? Didn't they share genes with her? How could she say that? And then it hit him. She said she didn't want them. He was rendered speechless, so completely in fact that he opened his mouth, but the only thing to come out was small huffing breaths. This was his dream, wasn't it? That perfect wolf... his soul mate, and she was still standing there! He could see her! He could trace every curve of her body as if he had a thousand times in his mind; he could feel the contours of her face at the tip of his tongue as if he'd licked her cheek... and yet she was turning away from him?
That just couldn't be.
And, as much as her words had hurt him, he only scowled and took a step forward, suddenly a much taller, darker wolf. He could see it in her shrinking form. She hadn't meant it. This was foolishness! He wouldn't stand for her beating herself - and him - up over this! If this is what she wanted, then she should just TAKE IT. He knew all too well he could take on Cathal, and he could be just as good a father to her other children as any. He wouldn't even kill Cathal. Just maim him. And her pups were on the verge of being young adults now! She could surely leave them alone and be with him! Was it so wrong?! Would she pass up this opportunity and live her life in misery because of it? He knew now. He could see in the way her body drooped, the way she stung on the inside after forcing the words out. She loved him just as much as he loved her. He let out a low snarl, towering up over her shrinking form. "Fuega," he spoke in a demanding, cold voice that he knew would stop her dead. "why are you fighting this?" ChevalBunita Defiant as always and because of constantly having to deal with Cathal's fits of rage brought on by dougal, the red one blinked not once as Lumbre's voice suddenly deepened and resonated around her. She wasn't scared. Never. True, in this moment she was, but only because Cathal could kill her and her pups. But, if Lumbre wanted to do the same, if he was about to threaten her, or at worse, kill her. Then it was fine. She still cared not for her offspring would be safe. But she knew that because this was HIS offspring, he wasn't going to kill her. Yet still, despite being unafraid at any threats he could ever make, she still softened a bit. His sudden closeness sent chills around and around inside of her body. As strange as it seemed, the cold deadly waft of chill ignited something within her. Something deep down lit up inside of her like a great roaring flame that was her namesake. She reared up off her haunches and let out a low threateningly growl his way. Her icy blue eyes sharp as sharper fangs jutted out and glittered in the moonlight.
"Fighing THIS?" she asked, glaring daggers, "Fighting what? Pups cause by our slip of passion. Our ONE nighttime game? Tell me Lumbre," she snarked, twisting his name around as if it was poison leaking from her snout. As if the emotional dam she constantly stored inside of herself broke out, "....what did this mean to you? Besides some pathetic wolf to ravish and claim?"
Lesotho At her outburst, he lifted a paw as if to step back, but simply froze there, wide eyed. He knew it was in her somewhere... and there it was. He had finally seen it. Her words cut him deeply, as if all he wanted to do was fling his body into the lake and drown. Everything he'd been thinking of... his MONTHS of dreaming since he met her, and his years before... had all been shattered in this single moment. Suddenly, his heart sank with an icy thud that he swore she could hear. Was that what it had been to her? No. It couldn't have been... but why was she questioning him now? Wasn't HE the one doing the questioning? She probably knew he wasn't going to attack her, and was using the moment. A new anger flared up, though he knew it wasn't at her. It wasn't at anything. It was simply a beast he had kept tamed for so long inside, and now it wanted out. Rage swept over him, coursing through his veins like some lethally hot lava. His eyes met her solidly, and he was back in battle mode, snarling and bearing his own large fangs against hers, ears flattened. Though he did not drop his stance to let his dominance drop away. In fact, he was setting his defenses. He was worried she would attack him first, and he couldn't have that.
"What right do you have to ask me that, Fuega?" He let the last word slide off his tongue as if it were the lethal injection to a life-long killer. "How many nights are you going to torment me before you let me go?!" His last statement roared from within his chest, so loud and so full of pent up rage and hurt that it even surprised himself. It was accompanied by a low growl and an irritated thrash of his tail. She was wrong. If she angered him enough, he would. As much as he loved her, he feared he would. Or, at least, come close. ChevalBunita She didn't flinch, not once. It was an easy thing to act brave when death was hanging at your den doorway. All Fuega had to do was expect what was to come, EXPECT him to get angry and snarl and bite, and if he killed her? If he really did kill her then it would be no different then how she felt about Cathal. And she knew Cathal was the type to really kill her, afterall hadn't he threatened her several times a day? It was just about knowing that she could take her last breath and that was that. And the fact that Fuega cared so little about her own well being made her a force to be reckoned with. Afterall, the worst threat a wolf could make was death. And the fact that Fuega didn't care about the dying part made the aforementioned threat frivelous. In that turn, it made HER in control. And that was the way she felt most secure. How she had managed to win over Cathal. Though she knew it was so very different in this situation. She never took her icy blue eyes off him, never broke the stare at his threats. It was if Lumbre was a puppy barking at a stone wall. Such a useless effort. The red one suddenly moved forward, though her movement were slow, almost reptillian-like. She got closer and closer until her head was right next to his hear, almost feeling the anger seething from him.
"Do it," she growled lowly, "Kill me.... you'll kill them too...."
Lesotho She hissed the words in his ear, himself swimming in that intoxicating scent, now overrun with rage. He still got chills with her that close, and it almost made him smile and half close his eyes, if not for her seething whisper in his ear. He didn't need time for it to sink in, he knew it was coming. He turned his head quickly, making for her throat with his jaws wide open. However, he simply nuzzled his muzzle and cheek into her neck and up the side of her face, catching her ear in his teeth. Such tender flesh, so easy to puncture... and yet his massive canines didn't leave a scratch as he gave it a light tug and growled in her ear playfully. ChevalBunita She didn't exactly know what to expect. Perhaps for him to be mauling her or leaving her where she stood. Leaving her to go find another, and claim them instead. It would issue far less problems. But he didn't. He...he was nuzzling her. She broke instead. Needing this. Needing him!
"What will we do," she whispered, pressing herself closer to him. Wanting so badly for everything to be okay. For him to have all the answers.
