Kaleb shivered once again as the cool water warmed somewhat, and he gave Demyx a grateful smile. With the added warmth it was easier to keep going forward, but he didn't want to go out too far or Bandages wouldn't be able to touch the ground. Plus he hadn't tested his own mediocre swimming skills in awhile, and he wouldn't mind some time to get used to it all.

Bandages still shivered, but Demyx's soothing words and odd ability to heat the water helped. "Thanks Tamber..." she said reluctantly. She never did like thanking anyone, but he was helping her a lot. "So...uhm...how do we swim now? Last time I was in the water this big wave thingy hit me and my wings got wet and then I couldn't fly for a long time."

"Don't worry about the waves, I'll make sure those don't get you."
And it was true. Ever since stepping in the water with him the two would probably notice a lack of large waves coming their way. The ones that did were small and easy to manage. The musician was carefully directing the bigger ones just around them so they'd be safe.
"As for swimming, just pretend you're running, but in the water. Kick your arms and legs...like this."
Demyx moved a little bit farther out into the water before sinking down into it. To him, the cold water actually felt refreshing, rather than just...well...annoying. Once in, the sitarist started to doggy paddle about. He figured it'd be better to show her that method of swimming, since for the time being she was stuck using four legs rather than the two Kaleb and himself walked around on.

Kaleb followed quietly, taking hesitant steps forward and holding up his arms as he adjusted to the water temperature. He hadn't even noticed the unnatural path of the waves until Demyx had mentioned it, and the mage had to pause and watch in wonderment as the direction of the waves shifted slightly.

Bandages whined and mimiced Demyx best she could. Keeping her wings erect in the air. "A-am I doing it right?" She moved around the shallow water slowly, to scared to look at the amazing feat Demyx was pulling off for Kaleb and herself..

"You're doing great!"
Demyx paddled around a bit, watching Kaleb and Bandages closely. The little angelic was doing good, but he'd have to make sure she didn't get tired out and sink or something. So long as he kept an eye on her he'd be able to keep her safe.
"Just keep going, kay? You're doing a good job!"

Kaleb tore his eyes away from the unnatural wave pattern when Bandages spoke up, and he turned to watch her swim for a bit. The wings did look hard to manage, and it would probably be really difficult for her to swim if they got wet.
That gave Kaleb something to think about as he waded in deeper, maybe there was something he could do to help out if the angelic got tired, surely Demyx would also tire out faster if he kept using his water manipulation magic.

Unfortunatly, the shiny jewly and bandages on her body were starting to weigh her down. She was feeling adventurous though and decided to swim out fruther, this would prove bad, as her paws got tangled in her bandages sending her into a panic, causing her to sink without a word, just a small splash.

Demyx had glanced over to look at Kaleb, shooting the mage a grin. Things were going smoothly...or so he thought.
As he turned back to check on the angelic, Demyx blinked in confusion at the lack of...well...anyone else in the water nearby.
"Bandages?..."
The small splash wasn't heard by the water mage, but the ripples it left behind were very noticable to someone who spent much of their time in and around the water.
"Bandages!"
No longer doggy paddling, Demyx quickly dove under the water and swam towards the disturbance, looking for the little angelic.

Kaleb grinned back, but alarm slowly settled over him when Demyx called out and didn't get a reply. As his friend dove towards where the angelic was last seen, Kaleb waded as fast as he could in the same direction. It was slow going and the mage quickly got frustrated, he just hoped Demyx would be able to save Bandages in time.

Bandages flapped her wings and thrashed around under the water trying to get to the surface with little success, holding her breath was becoming a task now...too much of a task actually. Within moments she let go of the little bit of air she had been holding in and sank to the bottom. Though the bottom wasn't far down, it was much too far for someone inexperianced to get up from.

Demyx held his breath, swimming along underwater in his search for Bandages. Thankfully, wings were one thing that stuck out in the underwater scene, and the musician was able to locate Bandages shortly after she hit the bottom. Quickly swimming over to her, Demyx set the little angelic on his head and resurfaced. By now the normally gelled bangs were quite wet and falling back into their owner's face, so it wouldn't be any discomfort to Demyx's 'passenger".
Taking in a deep breath, the sitarist looked up at Bandages the best he could without flinging the little one off his head.
"Bandages, you okay?!"
Demyx lifted his arms, using his hands to keep Bandages steady.
"I'm so sorry!..."
He felt awful for not keeping a good enough eye on the little angelic. She just -had- to be okay, or he wouldn't be able to live with himself.

Kaleb felt a little relieved as Demyx surfaced with Bandages on his head, but he would be far from okay until she told them she was okay. As he waded over he channeled just enough magical energy to make an angelic-sized, translucent blue shield, curved just enough to act as a little boat. He pushed it over to where Demyx was, too afraid to say anything.

She coughed up some water and glared at Demyx. "Just put me back on the beach. I hate the water I don't ever want to go swimming again. Bring me back onto the land, now." She seemed more upset with herself then anyone else, but still, her glare was directed at the sitarist. She grumbled and whimpered, it would take a long time to dry out her wings again.

"K-kay..."
Demyx whimpered a bit, the rather angry tone Bandages had was sending the blonde straight into defense mode. So focused on the angelic, Demyx didn't notice Kaleb had made anything until said shield bumped into him. Letting out a little squeak, the musician stared at it for a moment before putting the pieces together. Right...a little...boat thing. That'd help... Carefully, Demyx set Bandages down in it and started pushing her off towards shore.
"Thanks Kaleb..."
Demyx gave Kaleb a grateful smile before letting Bandages words hit him again. Sigh....it really had been rather irresponsible of him to take the little angelic under his care and try to teach her. She could have been really hurt! Mentally scolding himself, the sitarist continued to swim until the shield bumped into the sandy shore. As soon as they arrived he pushed the shield far enough up on the beach to be safe before trudging away. He didn't need to bother the angelic anymore.
As he walked away, Bandages would probably notice a few drops of water washing off her wings and following the sitarist for a short while before dropping back to the ground.
