Tohru watched Imari finish up her eggs quietly, pondering over what she must be thinking. When she sat back, he stood and cleared their plates. As he took them to the kitchen, he addressed her again. "Well, since you're staying here, I might want to give you the grand tour... Are you up for it?"

(OOC: Weekend... so boring... must fight... urge... to sleep... three days straight...)

Tohru smiled and nodded. He gestured about himself and Imari grandly. "This, " he said, pausing for emphasis, "Is my dining room. The table is thirteen feet long by four feet wide. The eight place-settings are laid out at all times for the reason that I think it looks better than a bare table. Each place-setting consists of one plain white plate, a napkin, a steak knife, a spoon, a salad fork, a dinner fork, and a crystal wine glass. The candleholders are made of pure hematite. If you look under the table at each seat, you will find two sais secured for each place setting, each in it's own metal sheath --I have a hidden easy-access weapon in every room--. The walls in here were dark green when I got to them, and I decided that it looked good in here, so I let them be." Tohru drew a breath and took his gaze away from the rest of the room to address Imari. "Any questions concerning the dining room?"

Tohru nodded. He walked across the room and through the large, double-size, open-air doorway. In the middle of the new faded-orange room he was in, he turned around and spread his arms. "This is my kitchen. Not really much to talk about in here, it's all pretty much standard kitchen supplies." He pointed to his left, at the south wall, "My sink is a double-sided, single-faucet model." He gestured to his right, indicating the east/west walls to the north of the open-air doorways, "My oven and microwave on the west wall, my refrigerator and my trashcan on the east wall. It's all pretty much standard. To the north is my pantry, not much to talk about in there, and you've already seen it," he said, referring to how she had snuck in through the pantry window. "The kitchen has a bounty of knives that I figured could be used as weapons for this room. The pantry has a pair of machetes." He turned to address Imari again. "Any questions?"

Imari hesitated a little, then nodded and ran to the bedroom. She locked the door and found the kunai and shuriken and added them to her stash. She sat beside the bed and waited for anything to come at her.

Tohru flinched with each knock that came. As a precaution, he moved a pair of kamas from the pockets inside his overcoat to the holsters on the sides of his calves and removed his big, black overcoat, reducing his overall weight and revealing his pale white, slender body, and rippling muscles. He quickly darted across the living room and into his entry room, keeping both hands on the bo staff slung across his back. He quietly stepped up to his front door and peered through the peephole...

(OOC: Ha! Peephole beats kunai! razz )

Tohru yelped in pain as his right eye was peirced by a flying needle that burst through his peephole. The attacker had just ruined his eye! Tohru tried to force his mind back into order and call for Imari to run, but he was too shocked and in too much pain. He fell back on the floor and writhed in agony, the pain causing him to temporarily let go of even his motor skills.
