Kaleb listened curiously, and also glanced over to see what Rufus was doing. Of course, that just reminded him of what the women had suspected of him, and he blushed as he completely forgot what he was going to ask next.

A woman walked past them, making some small unimportant comment about Tseng's appearence, before walking away. "IF only we could silence them all for a day"

Kaleb nodded meekly, still blushing. It would probably be a long while before he could look at Rufus and not be reminded of what he had heard earlier. "H-how long were we going to be staying here?" He asked quietly.

"As long as nothing happens a hour or so." He looked around the party. "Rufus made his appearence so as soon as he can get away from them he will."

Kaleb frowned a bit. "What if something does happen?" The mage could only think of one reason why they would leave early aside from a well-timed excuse, and that was certainly the kind of situation he wouldn't want to get mixed up in.

"Then i suggest you run for the door and let Rude, Reno and myself take care of it." Kaleb was probably completely unaware that there was a rather powerful gun tucked into his jacket and that Reno's e-mag was tucked into his.

Kaleb frowned more, and then broke out into a wry smile. "I wouldn't be completely useless," he said, looking off to one side.

"I really would rather you didnt end up caught in the middle of something. If our healer get's injured what is the point of bringing you along?" He looked at Kaleb and raised a brow when he noticed the smile on the other's face. "Oh?"

"If someone else gets injured, what's the point of having me run?" Kaleb replied simply, glancing up at Tseng with a more serious look. "In an emergency, I can heal most purely physical damage done to myself as long as I'm still consious and capable of channeling energy." He said, adjusting his glasses a bit and looking back into the crowd. Yes, he could handle physical damage, but it was the psychological damage he had to watch out for.

"We can all take care of ourselves long enough to get to you." He nodded. "Though i would rather have nothing happen, and it it not physical damage i would be worried about with you"

Kaleb nodded, a sheepish expression on his face. "I-it would be pretty scary. I'd be happier staying another hour if it came to that or being shot at or something."

Kaleb followed Tseng's glance. "He really seems to enjoy the violence," the mage said softly. "I don't understand why, it..." He paused, blushing a bit. "I-it gives me nightmares if I think about it too much."

"He grew up around it so i don't know if he likes it or if he is just used to it. Then again he does seem to thrive on anything dangerous." He shook his head. Looking at Kaleb he set a hand on the other's shoulder. "It get's to me some times too"

Kaleb relaxed quite a bit, knowing that he wasn't the only one who was bothered by it made him feel less alone. "I-I thought I would be able to handle it..." he said timidly, looking rather pale as he was reminded of the event.
