Senka blinked a few times from under the hood. This woman was off her nut! She never had a family! "What are you talking about...? I think your confusing me for someone else..."

~|~

Sybrant nodded, saving the information to memory. Alright. I shall keep aware if I should see her. One last question... What is the name of the one you speak of? She hoped he did mind the questions. It was only natural curiousity.

Her name is Ealir'faryn. In the language in which we were both named, it means Night Rose. De'carn smiled slightly. Fondly. His dear little Ealir... his dark heart cried out for her, and again he tried to reach out to her with nothing there. Almost as if... she didn't exist...

~*~

"Really? Then take off that hood." She sneered, fingernails digging into her palms. "Or I'll do it for you." Tara advanced a few steps toward her half sister, fighting an urge inside herself to growl with anger. She would not stoop to the level of an animal. Not to Senka's level.

Senka refused to move to take off her hood, though she continued to stare at the woman. She couldn't just... oblige. No. That would be it... "I'll pass, thank you." But as she advanced, her foot slid backwards, to give her a small bit of room just incase she should need it. Though somewhere in the back of her mind, she had no doubt the woman would.

~|~

Ealir'faryn. Sybrant repeated the name to herself, to make sure she remembered it. Her gaze flickered over to De'carn, to see the small smile. So, they had a connection that seemed to be a little more then friends. At least, to Sybrant they did. Sybrant looked away, and off into the dark trees of the forest.

Beautiful name, isn't it? He had spent hours thinking about it, the language which many people forgot still existed in its most refined forms. His eyes drifted closed, mind rising high, flying like his wings were unable to physically take him. He surveyed the city before diving down, eager to see what kept them lingering so... until he encountered a block. He reeled for a moment, aware of the headache suddenly plaguing him. He pulled back into his body, blinking a little bit to clear his head.

There was another wyrm nearby.

~*~

Tara bounded towards her half sister, praying to the gods of wind and speed that she would be able to shame this girl for running away from home. She reached for Senka's hood, trying to pull it down. "Why did you run away, Senka dearest?" She snarled, ignoring the fact that people were staring and a crowd was starting to form.

Senka's eyes widened as the girl sprang forward towards her, poised to rip her cover off. She moved to jerk back, the motion--or the girl, she wasn't sure which--had caused the heavy hood to fall from her head, and pool around her neck. Her wolf ears were laying as flat as they could, and Senka's golden eyes had narrowed.

An unknown pit of anger had re-activated itself, though instead of fleeing like her insticts told her to do she stood her ground. Even when the growing crowd had some of it's own reactions, she stood her ground before this woman who had been claiming kinship with her. This time, Senka let the growl in her throut rise.

~|~

Yes, in it's own way. Senka had to stop from saying more, feeling strong waves of anger suddenly hit her. A small twinge of embarrassment was thrown in, though it was hardly noticable from the endless anger.

Her mind only thought of one source: Senka. She reached out to Senka, to try and see what she saw. But she was surprised to meet a mental block. She clawed and pushed at it, but it was solid. Sybrant recoiled from it, her eyes focusing back to the forest where she had been looking at before.

De'carn's eyes flicked all around, trying to calculate where the other wyrm was and who they were trying to protect. The skies revealed nothing, and surely it wasn't Sybrant? Surely she would have recognized him? Yes... it was someone else. He said nothing, choosing instead to keep turning his head in the night, looking for a light out of place.

~*~

"Ungrateful dog." Tara hissed angrily, drawing her hand back to strike Senka. This... monster had never learned her place, apparently. Well, it was past time for her to. She unwisely ignored the signs of anger on the girl's face. "Are they going to have to get a collar and leash on you?" Her voice was low, her nose wrinkling in disgust.

Forced to duck to the side to advoid being hit, the anger seemed to spark even more with each comment. "On what rights do you have to say such things? I am who I am. And I am NOT a DOG." Senka half-yelled back, golden eyes flaring with fury. How dare she, a complete stranger...

~|~

Sybrant looked back towards the city, before spacing out as her mind reached out towards Senka's own. And again she was met with the block. Recoiling again, Sybrant snarled aloud as she came back to herself on the hill.

I can't reach Senka. Something's wrong. The plain look on the Shadow Wyrm's face was actually half considering ripping apart the city in search of Senka to find out what was wrong. Her gaze flickered to De'carn. What was going on?
PostPosted: Mon Jan 15, 2007 4:37 pm

I agree. There's another wyrm blocking the area around where she is. I can't see anything around it. De'carn growled slightly, unaware than Sybrant was having other issues. Who is it? He asked quietly, still peering the nearby landscape. Whoever it was was hiding from him. Ealir? She wouldn't dare!

~*~

"You're the black mark on my life, or have you really been hit enough that you can't remember anything?! You are a dog. A lowlife, mangy MUTT who should have been culled with the rest of the things that don't belong, except that mother and father felt the briefest moment of pity for you and kept you, the runt and mutant of an otherwise normal family." Being cruel was all in good fun for her. Tara was angry, in case it hadn't been guessed.

"That's... enough!" Fighting his way through the crowds, a young man had gotten through just in time to clearly hear what he had been afraid of was going on. He stepped forward, risking the wrath of the two older women, should this fight not have been interupted. Vibrant green-blue eyes glittered at the woman saying hurtful things, one hand reaching for the sword at his side while the other went to a white scale on the chain around his neck.

She could feel it. Her fury ripping at her self control. The wolf--the lycan--within her, clawing at her to be released, when usually only in the full moonlight. She slid back, leg muscels tensing up to launch at her rude, hurtful opponent. As her muscels sprang foreward, she was forced to halt her movement by the newcomer to the fight.

Golden eyes narrowed again as she studied the new-comer, what was he doing? This was for them to finish. "What're you doing? This isn't your fight." She hissed under her breath to the man, eyes flickering to the threat infront of her.

~|~

There is... another Wyrm near? she repeated, almost as if she didn't believe him. She gave up trying to break the mental barracade from getting to her Bonded, for it would be fruitless effort. She also looked around amongst the surrounding area, in hopes she could try to see another wyrm amongst the darkness.

De'carn, I appologise, Sybrant started, standing up from her sitting position, but something is happening to Senka. And I need to know what. She stretched her legs, not unlike a cat to ease the muscels, before looking down at the city with narrowed eyes the color of molten silver. Senka...
PostPosted: Sat Jan 20, 2007 9:38 pm

Yes. Go help her. I will look for the other. He said, turning and leaving Sybrant behind. Soon as he was sure she could no longer see him as night hid his face, his face that was of worried concern broke into a snarl. Something out there DARED to challenge his power, and succeeded! He had the convict in his sight, locked on. His thoughts tried to reach out, but found that the barrier around the wyrm's mind was as strong if not better than the one it was shielding. He reeled on his feet, long claws digging into the ground to keep the sudden shock of pain from harming him more than need be.

He snapped at the air, regaining his balance. Anger flared up in his mind, a deep growl sounding from his throat. Whatever it was... He didn't move, gathering up everything in his power, and aiming at that barrier. With all the force his power could muster, De'carn released. A deep crack soon ran over that shield, that could let him wiggle in. His legs splayed, eyes closing as he attempted to infiltrate. The wyrm's defences suddenly leapt back together, the dark wyrm stumbling to a nearby tree in order to keep from falling over as his power was flung back at him, unusable and dead. With the night on his side, he would regain the ability to act proud and powerful in but a few moments. He just needed time.

~*~

Tara turned, sneering at the stranger to enter the clear ring. What idiot made himself a target for two women's wrath? Speaking of which... She glared at Senka. For a moment, she took a step back, willing to observe.

"My fight or not, no human has the right to talk to another like that." He could see plainly that only one of these two was truly human, but he let his statement stand. After all, altering that statement wasn't worth his time. His eyes glanced up at Tara, aware that he felt something from the other end of his bond whining slightly. His mind flew quickly, but there were no problems, he was assured.

He glanced back at the people around, wanting to shoo them off. Encouraging the human to talk down to the lycan girl was a bad idea. Worse if they got it in their head that it was fine. If no one was to step up...

Sybrant didn't need telling twice. She leapt down the short distance from their hiding spot to the city. Her mind fought with the spell, using it to suddenly disappear and blend in with her surroundings. Though she could still bump into things, that didn't stop her from her constant scowering search of the city for her Bonded.

She reached out, meeting the barrier not far away from where she was. Eyes narrowing in determination, Sybrant hurried her pace.

~|~

Senka's eyes widened slightly. 'no human has the right to talk to another like that.' It brought on hidden feelings she didn't know she knew... Bitterness, anger, sadness... Why? Another wave of a headache rolled by, instead of something to anwser her questions. Like a memory...

She looked back at the other woman, surprised to find her vision was slightly blurred. A drop of liquid rolled down her cheek. A tear? Why was she crying? Senka grit her teeth, forcing the emotions back.

De'carn blinked at the night, aware that the star of life stayed stationary, not even coming to inspect who or what had managed to break through, even if it had been momentarily, its defences. Are you a fool? He flung at the stationary wyrm, making sure his voice would not be heard by any other. Suddenly, the star twitched, turning its head to face the other in the dark. De'carn's heart, assuming he still possessed one, stilled itself. But the light just looked away, a chuckle rolling through De'carn's mind.

~*~

She was crying. Good. Tara smirked, placing her hands on her hips. The dog understood the message getting across to her. Took her long enough, Tara thought. If it had been a few more moments, she would have had to go find a stick to-

The girl's smirk faded, a snarling face of a young man suddenly blocking out the rest of the world. The crowd was gone from his mind as well, aware only of the dagger aimed at the girl's throat. A simple flick of his wrist, and then the world would be less one problem, but he with one more. To be perfectly honest, he had no idea why he was helping out someone he'd never met before. Haku's influence, probably, Aran guessed. "Listen here," he hissed quietly, "there are two ways we can do this. Either I become a known murderer, or you go back to the pitiful existance that seems to bring you such joy to be a part of. Either way, I don't really mind."

This city was an infernal DEATH TRAP. Sybrant was getting more furious by the second, now considering ripping up these housing things that made walking a real challenge. Damn this place, and it's clustering ways! She snarled aloud, dropping the illusion and searching for Senka's mind again. As she appeared, a few human passerbys went wide-eyed, running and fleeing for their lives.

~|~

Ears flattening against her skull, a few more tears rolled down her cheeks, unstopable from coming. She realised, that as the anger evaporated, she realised... She was scared. Scared, and feeling like she had been cornered. Senka blinked, finding the man who had stopped the verbal abuse infront of her attacker. That had been fast...

Her flattened ears shot up suddenly. Through the crowd's own racket, and the noise of the city... She heard a snarl, the sound of a close-by, frustrated beast. But not just any beast. It sounded draconic, like a Wyrm. She suddenly noticed that she couldn't connect with Sybrant, like something was blocking their connection...
PostPosted: Sun Jan 21, 2007 3:02 pm

De'carn had recovered himself, and continued toward the other, wings flaring as he neared. However, suddenly it was gone. Had someone killed the other wyrm? No... His eyes darted off, following after the one going far faster than it should have been. That thing was fast, he though, amazed.

~*~

After a quick review of her situation, Tara decided life would be easier for her to deal with than the death promised by this stranger. She took a step back, holding up her hand in defense before collecting what remained of her pride for the moment. She darted off just as the screams began, running through the invisible barrier being unknowingly held by a wyrm.

Soon as she left and the noises began, Aran's mind snapped on the invisible switch. Haku?

It's not me. There's another down there, and one up here in the woods.

Brilliant. Get down here, then. Seeing you's not going to stir up much more trouble.
Aran's orders issued, the long white wyrm speeded to the city, weaving around people until he neared his bonded. His shields around both of them faded into nothingness as he neared.

Through the chaos that she had helped stir, she nearly rejoiced as she felt no shield. She reached out fullforce--incase the sheilds should regain themselves and block her Bonded again. Though they hadn't, and her force had hit Senka square-on. Senka!!

Senka reeled back, a cry erupted from her mouth as a force slammed into her mind. Her hands clutched her head, in attempt to ease the pain. SENKA!! ANSWER ME!! Sybrant's voice rang imperiously in her mind, her voice strained with worry, concern and fury.

"Y-Yes? Sybrant?" She spoke aloud, her head ringing too much to form the words in her thoughts. Wait right there. I'll be there in a moment.
