Knuckles grinned, "now thta you've said it. . ." he said, standing up on all four of his paws, ready to race off, "If your the fastest lion about, ofcourse I'm too slow!" and with that he races off, towards the herd of the gazelle on top speed.

"I guess I did." he said and runs though the forest. Sonic was not even close to his normal speed when he got close to Knuckles. "Come on slow poke." he said and runs past him. They both enter the desert, Sonic a head of Knuckles by a bit. Sonic pikcs up his paste to the speed he normal runs at. He zooms way a head of Knuckles and toward the gazelles, disappearing in the disants.

Knuckles ran forward now, lowering his speed and not even trying, he didn't care about running towards some gazelles and racing the fastest lion.

Sonic did not care that Knuckles followed him or not. Sonic was a loner anyways so he was used to being a lone by now. He sees the gazelles and roars loudly. They look up then took off. Sonic ran up to the head one and jumped on its back as it slows down. Sonic jumps off then runs again to the new one that was the leader. He jumps on that ones back too. "Hehe." he jumps off and continues this for a while. "I'm bored." he said and stops running and watches them run off. "What to do? What to do?"

Knuckles stopped not far away from Sonic, patting silently and crouched in to grass behind Sonic silently, wanting to play a trip on him and pounce lightly on himm from behind.

Sonic looked over his shoulder at Knuckles. "I guess you cought me." Sonic did not really care that he was on his back. He shook his body and he fell off. "Playing games? You dont see like that kind of person."

Knuckles stood up and shook his head from the sand he fell into, "Just trying to see how easy you are to catch from behind. . ." he simply said and looked around the plains, since the gazelle ran away because of Sonic.

Knuckles nodded and began trotting slowly in the direction he gazelles ran off, he wasn't in a very big hurry since he ate before but all the running made him hungry.

Knuckles crouched down as he spotted the gazelle's creeping closer to them and silently, waiting for a moment to attack them.

As Sonic was farther away from the pride, he spotted a jeap. "Coolio! Some human things." he said and walked near it. "I wonder what this is so post to be?" he said as he jumps in the back of the jeap. "Hmmm..." he looks around and sees nothing that is something to play with. He jumps out and walks away. "I wanted to play with some humans. I guess my wish wont come true." he said and ran off back toward the pride.

Suddenly as Knuckles crouched the gazelles began running away into the opposite direction and he stood up, spotting two humans, who scared his gazelle's not far away. Knuckles snarled angrily and crouched.

When Sonic was walking he saw the gazelle heard comeing at him. "I have no time for this." he said as he roared loudly. The gazelles turned around and went back into the direction the hunters were at. Sonic followed them slowly. He looked down as he walked. "No humans." he ran into a tree again. He looked up and saw the humans aiming at him. He ran forward, the shot missed him. He kept on running till the humans were out of site. He stop running when he jumped over Knuckles. "Humans..."
