Kikuka "Free is it?" Sky responed still deep in meditation. "Then so be it." So simple, but, so hard to understand. Sky said nothing more but sank back into her deeper self and listened to the calls of the dying forest.

silentdraconis Nakel scrambled up a tree after showing Kikuka to Namai's cookies, some how managing to keep the skirt of her dress perfectly decent. She continued to play her ocarina, letting the notes drift towards calming until slowly the sound faded away. It was the way she prefered to end her playing, letting sleep close slowly upon the forest, rather than crash down in a sudden wave of shadows. The last notes drifted away as Pwei Pwai entered the clearing. Nakel waited until he was in range to drop down behind him, wrapping her arms around his neck. "Did I scare you off with my music?" She inquired, smiling broadly, all sunny seven-year old. There was no hint of her troubles in her voice or manner. No hint that something bothered her deeply. He was startled but for only a moment. On the way back he remembered how nice it was to hear her. She was the only thing that was cheerful to him the entire day. "Id much rather hear your music then deal with today. Can you do me a favor? No matter what happens, no matter how much I complain, never stop playing, you got that?" His voice was still serious and depressing but he hoped her cheer would liven him a bit.

"Of course," She let him go and fell in step next to him. "I promise I'll keep playing." Which meant she couldn't get disheartened by the fact that it did less and less good with every passing day. Maybe something would change. But if Pwei liked it- despite complaints o the contrary- maybe it did good where she couldn't see it. She started humming a tune that used to be popular, before the darkness ruled. It hadn't been sung in ages- which, considering normal seven year old exageration, probably translated into a few months, maybe a year. It was the kind of song that got stuck in her head and refused to flee for days.

Vakiir Setsuna muttered a string of angry curses. It wasn't that simple and she knew it!!! Just saying he was free didn't mean he really was!!! He still felt the shallow barrier around him, keeping him from going only so far from Sky. Increasingly aggitated, the angel youth collapsed to the ground, not even bothering to open his wings to break his fall or teleporting. He landed heavily on his shoulder. "Tomorrow have something for me to do." He growled.

"Where do you think!" She snapped. "The forest center. Somethings wrong. Now come on!" She snapped her fingers so the bounds on him let him fly. "Now move it!" She ordered not slowing. Her staff crystal was glowing. It meant great change and danger approched.

Setsuna gave a muffled growl as she accepted to him flight. He couldn't really fly, it was just a spell. His wings were still bound and once he landed, flying would no longer be an ability he had. "I'll be waiting for you." Setsuna gave a small nod, though aggitated, and disappeared. He reappered in the forest center. He sensed great power and his wings flicked.

Mika woke up. "Uh oh I must have dosed off?" Mika had no idea what was going on she turned to Sky. "Whats happened I think I fell asleep!"

Sky was no longer there as she was fast approching the forest center. She was tiring and needed her strength for later so she jumped on her crystal staff and sat sideways and flew through the forest.

Sky flew into the forest center clearing. She landed gently and gracefully. She senced furthor. "Its under ground...?" She kneeled and went to hands and knees. Next thing anyone there knew, she was sinking into the earth, then gone.

"Sky!" Setsuna leapt forward in attempt to grab her hand, but she was gone before he could. "Sky!" Teh golden-haired angel cursed, and stood on his hands and knees. He too, sank.

Sky heald her breath until she fell through. When she did she gasped and landed on her hands and knees. Setsuna fell through next to her. Everything glowed a warm firey red. Sky sweated. It was hot, for they were at the center of the earth.

"What the hell just happened?" Setsuna demanded with a snarl. He stood and held out a hand to help Sky up.

"I opened a portal, stop freaking out." She hissed. "This is a sacred place." She whispers hottly. She took his help up and brushed off and held her staff parrall to her body. She bowed low in honour of the Mother Earth and Father Universe.
