"I will send out the call then. Serenata? I trust you will inform your sister. We will do this at our home. Familiar ground might be best." She walked away, melting into the night. She was already discussing things with her father and how things would go.
Nicholai ran a hoof through his mane and growled again. "I do not like this so much as I once did...I trust your mother and you, but I cannot think that your father will not have a trap laid for me..."

Nicholai insists on meeting father without mother intervening oh his behalf first. Do we have your support?

Nicholai couldn't help but laugh at the picture she'd created with her words. "I find it hard to believe that a female would ever want to tear another to shreds."
Of course! I will be wherever you need me to be. Though I make one request: I want my own lifemate to come. I assume there will be many. And his presence might help to take all the anger off of you and your own lifemate.

She smiled. His anger was out of concern for her mother, not from her sister's situation. "She has a twin and she is strong, she would endure..." the teen said simply. The meeting will be at home, we will go there shortly, she informed her sister.

I will see you there, in hopes that our family will talk of our father's blind stupidity for years to come.
Nicholai took a deep breath, attempting to calm his pounding heart. "If you are so certain, then I will work to make it so." He nuzzled her, pulling her close to him. I should never want my children to plot such a thing upon me. And I trust your judgement. If this male is your sister's lifemate, then he is my brother and worthy of my support and protection.
