Ed frowned at the mention of human alchemy.

"Um. You could say I have a lot of knowlege in that area, yes." He stated rather stiffly, before getting up and stretched silently, wincing as his neck cracked.

Sighing again his golden eyes drifted shut, fatique suddenly overtaking him and he slouched onto the bed.

"Yeah. You can stay here.." He murmered softly, his eyes closed tightly as if trying to stay awake.

Mara sensed the weakness and bounded up next to him, sitting near him and giving off a look that said 'if you touch him I'll hurt you.'

Getting tired of the long street walk back home she turned into an alley, knowing a way to get home quicker this way. She raised her left arm to cover Joy, who was still fast asleep on her right arm. She walked carefully through the alleys, her eyes looking around as she walked.

Kasumi slowed her pace slightly. Knowing that she could run into Scar. For some reason she seemed cautious, even though she knew he can kill her all day and she'd just come back. With a soft sigh she lowered her gaze to Joy and smiled. Maybe that was why she was being so cautious, was because she was worried about Joy.

Quickly averting her gaze to the environment around her she stopped for a moment and softly sighed. She was growing tired of her home being so far away from headquarters. Kasumi went to the walls of one of the building and sat down, resting her back against it. She set Joy carefully on her lap and placed her folder and purse by her left side. She decided she'd rest here for a little bit, not to long or knowing her, she'd have a run in with Scar.

Adenine became quite still at the look on his face, instantly very sorry she had mentioned it, but her curiosity stepped around all limits normally when her sister slept and that curiosity could cause so many problems with others. But at the spoken words of acknowledgement, she smiled a little, keeping to herself that it was what she majored in, still sure that somehow perhaps the homunculi that she had found could be of extreme help in learning to create a human form for her sister. She still sat on the floor, looking suddenly smaller and so much frailer then he did as he got up and stretched, her rather sensitive ears catching a few little clicks of bone cartilage readjusting. Watching him fall over, she herself tired in the body from a bad day, but her mind rather awake, she nodded, tempted to go over there and take his shoes off and put a blanket over him, but as the little girl that followed him around got to him before she even got up, she was frightened away from trying such a thing, the upsetting look from a girl that had to be younger then her alarming her.
"Edward?...I am sorry for imposing on you, but I will be back soon, and then I think I will just take the empty corner, your friend can have the couch...have a good evening..."

With a soft bow, even if his eyes were closed, she nodded to the little girl and took the torn fabric at her back, pinning up the fabric on the metal and putting her hair back over her shoulders to behind her so her wings would be more concealed for her quick trip to retrieve her things. Glancing at Ty who sat on a metal rod that held drapes over a window, deciding that she should let her sister sleep, and that nothing that would concern the elder girl, or bird rather, would happen on her outing. Carefully unlocking the door and slipping out silently, she closed the door behind her and put her silent stepping sandals on her dainty feet that she had grabbed coming out. Putting her hands together, she closed her eyes and just put her hands out into the air, activating the tracking air alchemy that would help her find her way back to where she had come. It was like a ball of string in a maze really, the alchemy showing up to her eyes as a glimmer back the way she came, always leading back to the location she set.

Starting down the halls, down the steps of central, and out onto the streets, she held her arms, thankfully it not raining like the previous night, but she was a bit chilly. She wondered if the nice man with the hurt arm and the scar on his face was alright, since it had been sopping wet when she had seen him, and with her she even worried about strangers and their safety. After all, a stranger was just a friend she had not met yet, not remembering the bad people that she had met before due to her sister's creative work. Stepping along the streets quietly, nearly no one out, not very many sounds, she traced her way back to the alleyway, following one of her favorite air alchemy set ups. No one else could see the glimmer, but she followed it like a trail of breadcrumbs, going slowly and trying to see through the dark. Her bright aquamarine eyes could see much better in light, but with the adjustments she had fairly good night vision too now, just not good enough to see into the depths of alleyways into the darker shadows. Turning down a tiny, cramped street, she kept hearing noises that could be nothing good, worried again, rethinking her choice of not bringing Ty.

Ed didn't catch her last words, already in a doze as she left. Mara nudged him slightly, causing his head to loll to one side. The girl then tilted her head and pushed him back down onto the bed, crawling so she was almost on top of him.

"Metal Angel?" She whispered softly, brushing a few strands of blonde hair out of his eyes. "Ed?"

Edward slept on, blissfully ignoring everything that was being said and done around him.

Mara smiled softly at this. She then got up and dusted herself off, her pale nightgown looking to big for her by feet. Instead she flipped her black hair back over her shoulder and grabbed a pen near the desk by some complex looking alchemy symbols. She put it in her hair and twisted it around in little circles until she had a messy bun of black strands near the top of her head.

Looking in the mirror she was satisfied with herself and took up into seaching through the desk drawers and cabinets of the room. Searching for something..

Suddenly the phone rang. She jumped in alarm and quickly snatched it up so that Metal Angel wouldn't be woken, without saying anything she hesitantly put the reciever to her ear.

"Fullmetal?" Came a deep voice from the other end. Mara glared at the contraption for a second.

"Fullmetal? Are you there?" It crackled again.

Mara merely hissed and pulled the wire out of the wall where the phone was in place. No one would distract her from Metal Angel.

It was her duty, after all.

Tapping her chin with the dead reciever she thought for a moment. Where would he hide it? She glanced back down at him and smacked her head with inspiration, letting the phone drop to the ground.

His pocket. Duh.

She crawled back on the bed and lifted the red coat off of him gently, peering down at his hip innocently. Seeing the metal ring she grinned and gently unhooked it, pulling out the silver pocket watch.

This was what she needed. Yes.

She got off the bed and paused putting the watch up to her face and flipping it open, reading the date inscribed inside, bemused.

What the heck did that mean?

Metal Angel was an odd one, but he would do for her needs. Sighing she placed the watch under her nightgown and spun around, uncertain for a moment before pulling off her necklace and taking a glass.

She had one shot at this.

She tiptoed into the bathroom and smashed the necklace against the glass making the intricate stain glass bubble it held shatter and a drop of liquid fall down into the cup.

Humming slightly now, she added a bit of water. Then she grabbed a washcloth and poured the water over the washcloth, doing this over the sink. After she was finished she held the cloth away at arms length, and with it still dripping she hurried back to Metal Angel. No doubt the girl might arrive back at any minute.

Edangel was quickly destinquished and seen as the Flaw. The one that would stop her from completing her mission.

She put the washcloth slowly over Metal Angel's mouth and nose, and waited for a while before withdrawing it and throwing it aside. Now that that was done, here came the hard part.

Mara looked around anxiously, pulling a drugged Metal Angel into a sitting position and tying his hands together with some wire she had found in the scrap metal he kept near the cabinet. It must have been saved for repairs on his arm and leg, she thought softly to herself. Either way, it served her purpose.

Dragging Edward off the bed by the cloak and over to the window she glanced down, seeing more shapes awaiting her from below. She smirked slightly and pushed it open.

The shadows below said nothing, and moved restlessly like baby birds about ready to feast on their prey.

Without another glance Mara pushed Edward out the open window and listened softly, hoping the drug had worked enough.

She smiled. It did.

No thump sounded, as if Edward had dissapeared into thin air on his decent.

Now.. to leave. Mara jumped up on the sill and glanced down, the shadowy forms no longer there. Grasping the silver pocket watch tightly she jumped out the window, landing and rolling a few feet before painfully standing back up and running at top speed down the street. Her hair blended into the casting shadows of the night, but her white nightdress did not.

She didn't mind, however. It didn't matter.

She couldn't fail now that Metal Angel was in place. The offering would take place soon, she just had to finish up the job.

She had a meeting with her Aunt.

Traveling down a few more twisting streets and alleyways, she found the dark one with neat bricks that she had picked for herself, puddles still here and there as she splashed through them, remembering where her little place was even if it could not be seen. Moving her hands through the air, they found a place, a box of stone that looked exactly like what was behind it thanks to the illusions air alchemy specialized in. Smiling and putting her hands together, the entire structure crumbled to dust as she released the alchemy that had temporarily bound it, her heavy, tightly sealed back all that was left. Brushing the stone dust from the pack of gear, she heaved it up to her shoulder, a soft little exclamation sound from her as she nearly fell over backwards with her weakness. Being sick had a major effect on her obviously, since usually she could lift this easily, and at the moment she was having trouble. She really was tired and while she could tell it was cold, she felt really warm. Her immune system may have been put back up to how it should, but that was no excuse for her not to get rest to fight the fever.

Coughing softly, her feet a bit damp now, she headed out of the alley, slower now and her steps a little less quiet, hearing some noises that were a little off again, like glass breaking. It was far off, not something she would suspect to ever hear because of how hazy it sounded, not clear-cut like actual glass breaking. Still heading on, considering what she might have heard, she guessed it was nothing, glass inside a house breaking, or maybe Ty had heard it. She froze, looking shocked as a revelation came over her. Ty was sleeping in Edward's room with the girl, so therefore glass had broken back from where she had come. She could not pick her pace up anymore then she already had though, so she struggled on, a little worried. Edward could of course take care of himself, but she really had a bad feeling from Ty now, who was acting distressed. Still not back to the main streets yet, she got a disturbing thought from Ty, just a few words from her bird-like sister, but at the words she tripped over herself, falling to the ground, not even to the main street yet. The words were simply "Hurry, you're friend was stolen".

Ty had been watching the entire time, woken up by the sound of breaking glass, an instinctive sisterly reaction since breaking glass equaled Adenine in trouble. However to Ty's alarm, Adenine was gone and something that could be described as shady and wrong happening below her, perched above the window, amazingly a bird her size overlooked. She remained silent, since there was not a lot she could do as a bird besides shred the little girl to ribbons, seeing accomplices to the girl down below the window. In her book it was better to live and fight another day, unlike Adenine who would charge with her perfect hope and trust into anything. She identified the watch, and if she had possessed lips she would have smiled. All Adenine had to do was run to another alchemist, borrow their watch, hold the description of the boy in her mind, and then use her gifted air alchemy to scry for him and find him. Making sure to note where the rag and the remains of the necklace though so she could explain the chain of events to Adenine without so many difficult words, she watched the girl leave and then activated the alchemy on the ribbons on her feet, a few for control, but the rest for communication, forwarding her message to her little sister, guessing the other was nearby.

Adenine had gotten up from the ground after her little shock at the message in her mind from Ty, and since she could only walk with the big pack she had on her shoulders, there was no way she could run faster, and she would probably need a few things from her bag, so it really was a no-win situation. At the same time, she refused to look at it in such a way, plowing down the alleyway with such determination. She had to save Edward, and that meant getting back to the room, collecting Ty, and tracking where the kidnappers took Edward off to. She still looked a little pink in the face, and with her pale skin that small bit of pink was in fact serious. She may have been helped by Edward when they repaired her immune system and finalized the changes Ty made, but she needed rest, she needed to get better and with the fever she had it was doubtful that she would last much longer, not that she would ever admit to that. She had the highest hopes that everything would go well and she could have Edward back from the shadowy people her sister had flashed to her a small image of before the sun rose again.

Quite suddenly she nearly ran right into Kasumi, whom was coming around the corner. Stopping short and not feeling anything odd, just that sudden wave of a kind of sickness she felt from people like Kasumi, she tried to bow slightly, nearly falling over with her heavy pack, the bag much too large for a little, frail girl like her. She shone like nothing else in the dark, a patch of light in the shadows, her white hair, skin, and clothes catching any light and throwing it back, so she was very noticeable. Feeling now like coughing but managing to suppress the feeling for the moment, she spoke up, her voice being a little shaky.
"Ma'mm, I am sorry, I thought you were heading home, but I am in a bit of a hurry. Ty told me that Edward was kidnapped back in his room, and I have to hurry there to collect Ty and find my friend...I don't mean to inconvenience you, but do you know of anyone who would do this?"
No, she would not last much longer in her present condition. She may be an incredibly powerful alchemist but she most likely was not thinking straight and was quite obviously sick, no alchemist immune from getting sick, and with her little form without rest something could become serious. Yet, apparently it had not occurred to her, and she was not going to let up from her little quest to help.

Scorp had returned back the city. HE really only considered this place the city. Since so many things happened here including his parents, This time however he couldn't face them. He just couldn't face them at all he would have to send the money through a check or something.

HE quickly made his way to the bank and cashed in the money he had gained from his bounty, HE was bone tired. He must have escaped from at least 17 life threating situations trying to bring that bounty in. HE wondered just how many new enemies he had gained. No matter he had his money and that is all he needed.

He wired the money to the ' hospital' then he decided to go his little hideout. Walking about 3 blocks from the bank. HE quickly scaled a Fence in an alley. Jumping to the ground he launched himself at a wall that lifted at the last moment from a button he had pressed. Since the wall close 2 seconds after it opened he had allready be moving inorder to get inside.

Once inside of the building the floor immediatly dropped. He mentally counted seconds in his head untill the floo stopped. Jumping off the floor instantly began it's rise back to the surface. HE stepped through a door way into an extremly bright room. HE quickly walked through untill he reached the room he used as a bed room. HE figured this place might have been an old underground instillation of some sort but for now it served as a very effective head quarters.

Finding his bed he collapsed upon it and passed out with in seconds.

You say that Fullmetals Been Kidnapped? How did he Manage to get himself into that prediciment?"Kasumi/Envy Replied to Adenine's Question."Hmmm...I dont know for sure who would want to do such a thing except...for that Little Girl that was Glinging to him....But shes so Little.."Envy,even though it was'nt his way of doing things,Gave a warm comforting smile to the child and said."I'll tell you what Adenine.Let me Help you in your search.I need to Speak with Fullmetal anyways so It wont be a problem."

A slight wind that is punctuated by the unusual presence of cerry blossoms softly blows trhough a town on the edge of Amastris. Suddenly a young man seems to appeare out of nowhere. "Hmm so this is Amasris right? Well, now that I am here its time to begin my "Mission". How am I gong to Find out how strong the alchemests are in this country? I guess I could alwayse destroy this rotten little town and see who comes to investigate, but that really is not my style. I guess the best place to start is by going to the capial city, Mamoru saidl softly whispering to himself." Just as quickly as he came, Mamoru had gone on his way to central.

Edward opened his eyes blearily. The last thing he remembered was Adenine leaving his room. Coughing slighlty Ed sat up and glanced around. Everything was black except a few rays of light that lazily drifted about the room.

Frowning he tried to move his hand up to get rid of the cloth that was gagging him, but he couldn't move them an inch. Glancing down he saw his right arm was gone, and his left was tied tight behind him.

Leaning back again he snorted a bit. Kidnapped. By who? By a nine-year-old girl? Ouch. What a burn on his reputation. Now, without his right arm he was a sitting duck. Whatever they wanted to do with him obviously wasn't to do with alchemy..

Pushing his back against the wall he managed to stand up, and hopped with his feet tied together around the room searching for anything. Also to get the dimensions of the room. Panic swelled up inside him, but he quickly put it out. This wasn't the time to loose his cool.

The room wasn't as big as it seemed. It only took Edward ten small hops to reach the end of it, and it seemed to be almost square. He felt lopsided without his arm, his balance thrown, so when he fell face forward onto the ground after tripping over something, he couldn't get back up.

Sudden light streamed into his face, making him twitch in annyance. Glaring up at whoever it was he made his best intimadating face, but it turned out rather amusing with his gag in place.

Short barking laughter filled the still air, making Edward shiver slightly.

"Well, it seems you are awake now, Edward." A voice rang out. Male, deep. Forty or so, the voice came from far above Ed. Around six feet tall, Edward reasoned, meaning that the ceiling was most likely taller. Not that all these quick facts would save him.

Edward really wanted to spit at this man.

"You can call me God." The voice rang out again. This statement caused Edward to burst into laughter. Not a good idea when you were the hostage.

A sharp pain raced down the back of his head and he was flipped over to meet his captor.

A man in a wheelchair. How amusing. This was 'God'? The man looked very old, crippled, wrinkles dotting his skin and scars around his cheeks and eyes. His eyes were narrowed and grey, the same with his long hair that billowed around his shoulders. He had small glasses on, and a tight black robe.

With one motion the gag was removed and Edward had to cough a few times to rid of the taste.

"What do you want, old man?" Ed asked harshly, recieving another kick. However, Edward tried to bite the foot in retaliation. Thankfully, he didn't get it in his mouth, because Ed didn't know quite what to do if his bite was sucessful. That foot was nasty.

"You are very fiesty." God stated.

Adenine did not detect the person imitating Kasumi's inner thoughts, just seeing the shock and concern on the other's face, on the inside knowing it was false, but she was a little too tired to actually dig her thoughts down into people at the moment. No, it would not be long at all until she reached her breaking point and would have to shut down, her frail form supported by alchemy, but such work had limits that normally came under the category of stress and endurance. Nodding softly, she was already moving again, the pack weighing her down but determined to reach her goal, to save everyone, to save Edward. Now that she had help she was sure she could get the situation resolved quickly, without too much trouble at all, not that she would be right in this instance of course, but she would always hope. The idea of the little girl though was upsetting, since in that one image it had put that little girl in a very bad frame, the tossing Edward out the window part, the shadowy people she could shudder from. That smile had just made her day though, encouragement always helpful to someone as young as she.

"Thank you ma'mm...Ty mentioned something about the girl, shadowy people who seemed to disappear, and of course Edward being thrown out the window. Other then that I don't know much..."
They got back to headquarters without too much more trouble, her having been able to speed up a bit with the idea of help from someone as good as Kasumi, pushing open the unlocked door and running inside the room, tossing her pack to the floor with a huge crash and running to the window to look up at Ty. The pack had apparently been so much heavier then it looked. Looking up to Ty, question on her face, it seemed the great bird just looked off in a direction, although she heard words. Running to the bed, she picked a cloth off the floor and wafted some of the air around towards her with her other hand, coughing softly as she realized it was ether, common knock-out poison. Running to the sink then, collecting ideas on what had happened since Ty could not say as much as she liked, she looked at the broken glass and necklace on the sink.

"Oh dear...it was the little girl..."
Running back to her pack, she tore open one of the pockets and pawed about equipment until she found a crystal, her face red and it looking like she would overheat soon. Stress, sickness, and far too much excitement all in one day would be the end of her at this rate. Glancing about one more time, she held her left arm up, the thick leather-light gray glove extending all the way up to her shoulder. Ty came down and landed on her arm nearly in a gentle way, and with that she was rushing out of the room, her sister already having told her what she needed to know, about a stolen watch. Wheeling around suddenly, she looked to Kasumi, realization coming to her features.
"Um...Ma'mm?...Can I borrow your State watch? Ty told me that Edward's watch was taken from him and that I can find the problem using another identical watch..."
Her hands were empty besides for a sharp crystal on a chain, Ty sitting on her arm and seemingly glaring at the person who looked like Kasumi, Ty not having told Adenine everything just yet, like suspicions.
