Cursing under his breath as Godric ran off, Lanthanos didn't register what was happening yet. Looking down the path that Godric ran down, he saw Godric attacking some girl on a horse. This wouldn't have been so bad, if it weren't for that connection that he felt with the lady. It was a deep-seated connection, one that only two elementalists sharing the same or opposite powers could feel. Seeing Godric's reaction made the connection in Lanthanos' mind, this was another earth shard holder.
Godric was able to absorb earth energy into his own being to make himself stronger, an earth shard had a great deal of power and would make him nearly unstoppable. Now was the time to act, no one could wait any longer.
"Druid Art: Earth Manipulation Release: Daemon Imprisonment!"
With those words, the book in Lanthanos' hands glowed with a bright green light, as did the terrain about Godric. Without a moment of warning, the earth suddenly reached up and reached to swallow Godric whole, pushing Kill out of the demon's grasp in the process. This should have made Lanthanos happy, but there was something in his eyes that spoke otherwise.
"First round will go to me... but this isn't finished," he said to no one in particular.

Godric was caught completely off guard by the attack, there was some deeper power beyond the earth element in this attack, restraining his own powers. It was the magic and the curse of the Jewel.
And to think that the Druids accused myself and Lanthanos of abusing the Jewel's power.
Swallowed into the ground after losing grasp of Kill, Godric was unable to break from his earthen prison using any of his demon abilities... that left him with whatever power he had absorbed from the other earth elementalist. Concentrating deeply, he looked at these new powers of his, and tried to find one that would break him of these bonds.

Kill gasped as her power flowed into Godric. It felt like a part of her was being ripped out of her body. Tears welled up in her eyes and she stared at Godric, feeling angry because she wasn't able to do anything about it. She was starting to feel weaker and weaker, her eyelids drooping and darkness starting to enfold her when Godric's hand released her and he dropped down, and she slid off the saddle to the other side. She lay on the ground, barely able to move and grey spots floating around her line of sight.

"Tch... I said I was mistaken. No need to cast threats my direction. I'm here to be rid of him just as much as you are."
Mouse glanced back from Lanthanos to Godric only to see that the demon had made his move upon another traveller. An ever present anger began to rise from somewhere deep within Mouse as he watched Godric assault the lady.

Geo advanced upon Mouse, remaining as silent as he could. Then, he layed a hand on Mouse's shoulder, and let his Wilting power do the rest for him.
Slowly, Mouse's Elemental energies would be drained, and Geo would gain a temporary boost of power. The shard would recover, as would Mouse, but it was a time of 'feeding' for Geo.

Blinking out of his thoughts, Mouse gnashed his teeth together, internally fuelling his rage further.
"And remembering that only confirms it."
But by the time Mouse had fully come to his senses, Godric was nowhere to be seen. The lady he had drained was lying upon the ground aside her startled horse. Lanthanos and the others were all looking in her direction, leaving him with no clue as to what was going on.
"What just happened here?"

Lanthanos reached up to his head; there was a pounding pain within it. For a moment, his eyes were bleary, but they snapped back into focus once more. That journal made Lanthanos' spells more difficult to perform, but they added an extra power that could make any demon shake in fear.
"Godric is... below. I don't know how long the spell will hold him though. Daemon Imprisonment was never meant to be used by an Earth Elementalist. It was a spell for Spirit, or a conjuction of Light and Dark to use."

The earth where Godric had been buried started to crack and crumble. It was a powerful art, being able to damage the earth itself was an amazing power for an elementalist to have, and in a demon's hands it was much more effective.
"Lanthanos, you dare use the journal to fight me? You can't beat me in this state of being. I am simply too powerful to be overcome with your simple magics."
With an amazing leap, Godric lunged towards Lanthanos, hands grasping to his coat. Landing on the ground shortly before the earth elementalist, he swung his coat off and used it to temporarily veil his movements, in which he was using the powers of the earth to cause strange vegetation to sprout from the ground.

Mouse's attention was immediately drawn to the crumbling earth from which Godric had leapt. Piecing together what he could remember from the vision, Godric drained powers from the shard holders and was apparently able to then use them in return. That would present a heavy enough handicap to begin with, however Godric's attentions seemed not to be entirely on the elementalists. There was a slim chance that a plan could work, but time was short and he was running low on options.
"Lanthanos! Throw the journal over here. Quickly!"

Lanthanos' eyes were widening. Mouse was never his friend before, and trust was something slow for Lanthanos to give. The journal had powers that could be abused by whosoever possessed it and could read it. Yet Godric was coming right for him. There was only one thing he could do, and that was hide.
Sinking beneath the surface of the earth with his earth melding ability, Lanthanos moved quickly behind Mouse and rose up again.
"Hope you don't mind... I simply don't trust you that much yet. As an ex-hermit I am sure you understand."

The vegetation around Godric seemed demonic, and as if it had a life of its own. It lashed out, trying to grasp anyone in the surrounding area to ensnare them. Some of the plants that tried to grasp at Godric simply died away when they came near to him.
Looking upon Lanthanos and Mouse, Godric lulled temporarily out of his battle rage.
"Mouse, you can't honestly say you are helping the elementalists, are you? Especially when the shard of the one you protect now would contain everything you need to restore you and your memories? You can't say you don't want to know what happened to you."
Walking towards Mouse and Lanthanos, Godric was careful to suppress his decay ability by drawing his own aura in. It forced him to remain calm, which was not the way he cared to be right now.

"Do not act as though you have me all figured out just yet Godric. While it may be true that I could regain all the memories from my past life in one fell swoop, I seem to be doing just fine in regaining them on my own."
Mouse glanced backward over his shoulder at Lanthanos momentarily. He couldn't deny the temptation was lingering, however that would be in direct opposition of what he was trying to accomplish.
"Right now you're standing in the way Godric. It's time that I dealt with that."
Clutching his crook firmly in his right hand, Mouse began walking towards the approaching demon. It was finally time to show his hand.

Godric grinned and the scar on his forehead started to glow. Mouse was nothing anymore, Godric had been fallen for far too long to be beaten by someone new to the business. His body fell low, and he charged into Mouse, aiming his shoulder at the foe's gut.
"I can't lose now! I've come too far!"

Lanthanos slowly stepped back. He had no idea what Mouse was doing picking a fight with Godric. However, that was his business. No matter at this point, Lanthanos would let the fight clean out, and then he would intervene if it was necessary.
Maybe, just maybe Mouse is the solution to the equation. The missing element.

Mouse tossed his crook aside a split second before being taking the shoulder below his sternum. Spitting out any air left in his lungs, Mouse felt then world begin to spin and darken. However, he wasn't about be beaten this easily, latching both arms and hands onto any part of Godric he could still get a firm grasp of.
"It'sss highhh time I returnnn a long overrrdue favvvor. Fatiguing Grasp!"

Godric suddenly felt fatigued, getting tired very easily. It was an odd thing, and he could only guess that this was Mouse's newfound power. Wonderful, to say the least, but it would prove to be his downfall. He had very little time in which to react because what had to be done must be done quickly.
Godric feebly grasped at Mouse, a cold stare in his dark eyes. Energy built up in his body for a magical missile, one to turn this fight around in his favor once more.
"Forceful Bargaining..." Fatiguing Grasp for Decay.
A bolt of energy shot from Godric towards Mouse. If this were to work, Mouse would find the unfortunate fact that the draining effect would be reversed once more. Truly this was a battle of the leeches.
