Aeife woke in a cold sweat. As she slept, her fever had broken and now she was feeling very hot. She smiled when she saw Shouyin still sleeping beside her. Her hand gently touched his, her fingers softly touching his knuckles. She hoped that she didn't spread her sickness to him. It was the last thing she would have wanted.
There was a smell of meat and blood on the cave. Gently tossing the blankets aside, she sat up. Shouyin had obviously gone and had come back in the time she slept. She hoped that she wasn't being too great a burden...
Looking at him sleeping caused her to smile once more. He was very cute when he was asleep... And his dog ears were absolutely adorable. She resisted the urge to reach out and stroke them, stiffling a giggle at the thought.

Shouyin frowned in his sleep and woke up. He raised himself to his knees and looked at Aeife. It had been the first time in a while that he hadn't slept in a tree, he smiled at the thought. He thought for a second.
"There's some deer over there if you'd like it. I didn't cook any yet, but I can if you want."

"Oh, good morning."
Aeife smiled at Shouyin. She was feeling much better now and the thought of food was a pleasing idea indeed. Though she wouldn't want to eat raw meat... Being human as she was she couldn't stomach it.
But wait... That statement wasn't true. If what Vizierre told her was the truth, she wasn't the least bit human.
"Oh, I would love some. Though it's not particularly healthy for me to eat raw meat... So I can help cook it, if you like."

Shouyin looked at her. "It's fine, you just sit back and relax," he smiled. "I can cook fine, and you're sick." He ran to his house, picked up a branch with some fire and ran back in a matter of seconds and began to start a fire. Once it was burning well he grabbed the deer and some sticks and set up assorted spits out of the limbs. "So did you sleep well?" he asked with a concerned look in his eyes.

Aeife nodded, leaning back against the wall of the cave and draping a blanket over her legs.
"Yes, I slept just fine... My fever has broken, so I think that I am in the clear."
She smiled as she watched him work. It was nice to be able to relax like this, though she felt somwhat guilty for not helping him.

Shouyin slowly tended to the fire and turned the meat around so that it would cook on all sides. He smiled when she said that she was feeling better. Being a demon he didn't get normal illnesses but Aeife had worried him deeply. Seeing her shivering like that. He'd never let something like that happen again. He just didn't know if he could take it.
"I well...I was wondering," Shouyin paused, he had to get the right words for this. "Maybe if it's not too much trouble," he stopped again, that was no way to say it at all! "The thing is, I want you to come live with me," he heaved a deep sigh of relief, that had been a lot more difficult than he thought it would.
"So, will you?"

Aeife stared dumbfoundedly at Shouyin for a while. As his words sunk in, she could feel her face getting hot with embarrassment. As simple a request as living with someone is, it touched her to know that he wanted her around. A shy but sweet smile grew across her lips and she nodded.
"I would be very happy to..."
His frustration made his question sound innocently cute.
Slowly, she moved forward away from her propped-up position against the rock. The blanket slid from her lap onto the floor as she deliberately made her way towards Shouyin. Her hands finally came to rest on his back... And she drew herself close, until her cheek gently pressed against the backs of her palms.
With a small sigh, she brought her legs closer to herself and went into a sort of tucked position. She smiled as she softly leaned on Shouyin's back. She could hear his heart and hear him breathing... It was comforting to have another body so close.

Shouyin smiled and lifted his hand over his shoulder to touch Aeife's cheek. Her skin was so soft. He would've been quite content to just sit there until he looked over and noticed that the deer was starting to burn. He leaped accidentally throwing Aeife onto her back and ran to pull the spits out of the fire. After blowing out one that was on fire he set them down to cool. It was then that he noticed he had just flung Aeife aside.
"Oh I'm so sorry, are you okay!? The deer, it was burning and well. I'm sorry," his ears drooped and gave Aeife a puppy dog look.

It was shocking to suddenly be thrown back as she was. However, Aeife quickly picked herself up again. When Shouyin turned to her with concern, she couldn't help but giggle. She pulled herself up until she was sitting comfortably.
"It's alright... I'm sorry to have distracted you."
Aeife smiled, making sure to be out of his way this time.

Shouyin's cheeked glowed red with embarrassment at his actions.
"Well at least you're okay. The meat isn't even burnt which is lucky," he smiled, walked up to her, put his arms around her, and kissed her.

Volgraza arived at a lagoon and hoverd over it he waved his and as a orb formed around him protecting him from magic. he flew into the sky some and streched is arms out as his body erupts in a burst of light that shines brighter than the sun. He holds his positon keeping the bright light going and would apear to be a small sun floating above the lagoon. He waits to see if it darw anyone out and into the area.

Aeife hugged and kissed Shouyin in return, gently pressing her cheek to his. She loved the feeling she got when she was around him... And the warmth of his hugs was never ending. Even if the world was in pieces, she could be comforted by those loving embraces...
Aeife softly rested her head on Shouyin's shoulder, letting out a content sigh between smiling lips. Then a strangely bright light shone outside the tiny little cave. She raised her head in interest but shielded her eyes shortly after. It was so bright... Even though the source wasn't visible from within the cave, it was making her see spots.
"Wh... What is that...?"

Shouyin turned and looked at the light, he let out a gasp of pain, he had really sensitive sight. He rubbed his eyes squinted and looked back at Aeife.
"I don't know, but it's really bright."

Aeife noticed Shouyin's pain at the light, so she tried to shield his eyes from it. Her hands reached for the back of his head and gently pulled him closer to her body to try and block out the strong light. She held him in her arms with a soft touch as she closed her eyes as well.
After some time, the light seemed to subside and become less intense. It was only then that Aeife opened her eyes and released Shouyin from her hold.
