He laughed "That won't be believed! You're much...*ahkem*" he stopped himself and cleared his throat blushing "nevermind... I don't think it will be believed, though"

Shrugs "Leave whatever you think you need to" He leaned against the wall watching her and thinking about his money and supplies situation.

He looked out the window. The sun was just starting to peak over the horizon, he hadn't realized how long they'd been out. "Linus should be up by now, I'll talk to him, do my route and meet you around 2 this afternoon with the news. I may be able to get everything I need today and we can leave tonight, or I may need another day to get things arranged"

He nodded "2 it is" He hopped out the window excitedly and hurried down the tree. From there he went stright through the gardens and into the kitchens, going stright through into Linus' office where the gentleman sat at his desk with the ordering sheets mumbling to himself. When Eric walked in Linus looked up "Ah good morning Eric, you look... have you been out all night again?"
"Yes, but I seem to have found a plan to leave" He pulled up the chair from the corner "I came to see you about my leave."
Linus set down his glasses and pen "You've finally found someone to go off on crazy adventures with you?"
"Yes indeed I have, we'd like to leave as soon as possible that's why I need to see what I'm owed"
"Of course, you've worked your scrawny lil behidn off around here since you were a babe so it's been what... 21 years that you've lived here..." He scribbled some things down on a sheet of paper. "Ok I figure you've earned a fair amount, let's start with what you need"
He smiled he'd been tallying things up in his head all evening to figure out what he needed "I need a basic set of traveling gear, the works, I need a horse, not a fine might steed, but a good horse would be appreciated, I need some armor and light weapons as well, just leather armor would be fine and small weapons, and then whatever is leftover I would like in coins"
He nodded jotting things down with amounts next to them "Hmm well it looks like I can get you all of that without a problem, you're parent left you a fair sum as well so with all that you will still walk away with a purse and a half of gold it looks like. Now that's assuming that you aren't expecting the highest quality of everything"
"Nope, just good enough to last me awhile"
"It'll be done I can get you all of that by 5 this evening, if you meet me in the stables I'll gather 5 horses for you to chose from"
"That'd be wonderful! Now about my routes and tables..."
"I'll take care of those, three new applications came in today, I'll call up the best candidate and you can train her"
He stood and took Linus' hand "Thank you so much!!!"
"No m'bo,y thank you for your silence and good work! I'll be glad you won't be hanging over my head much longer" He smiled his crooked smile and shook Eric's hand before shooing him out.

He left Linus' office with a grin spread on his face and went to his room. He quickly threw his things together, and changed. When he went to the mail room to grab his stack for the day a young girl of about 14 waited for him, her name was Latasha "Hey, I'm Damian" He held out his hnd to her, she took it with a smile "Latasha".
"Ok then, let's get on with it, it's not a hard route, just far away." he grabbed his stack and quickly sorted it, showing her the easiest way then piled it into the carrying sack "Let's be off" He took her on the route and showed her how he did it, then let her do the second half, giving her all the tidbits and hints he could along the way. They finished and he got back to the castle at 1:45, just in time to grab his things and meet up with Nika before heading to help with the early dinner.

He ran to his room, changed into his dinner attire and then went out to the tree to meet her. They hadn't agreed on a place, but the tree seemed the most logical He saw her there and waved "Hey! I got great news Let's take a walk!" He noticed a few servants just inside the windows and didn't want any eavesdroppers. Once around the wall of the courtyard he started talking again "Linus will have everything for me by 5 in the stables. I'm to meet him there just after dinner to choose a horse to have once I've done that I will be ready, but I don't want him to know it's you that I'm going with so you better have Peppermint out already or wait until 5:30"

He laughed, a bit uneasy, it'd just hit him that he would be leaving behind everything he knew. He'd grown up in the castle and learned everything while there... He also realized that he'd be leaving with a girl who he liked, but didn't exactly care for and was certain she didn't care for him... He shrugged in thought to himself She's not bad, I can trust her with my life I suppose.... He took a deep breath running his hands through his hair "Yeah... I've waited to get out of here, just never felt enough push to give in... It'll be good to get away from a lot of the drama here"
