lepordgirl i feel stupid cause i felt sorry for mort, for most of the movie and was rooting for him, then found out he was a skizo gah gonk i am now afraid of that accent john shooter has "fricken hillbilly's yall" them and there webed feet scream scream Of course! That turmoil was exactly what the director (And King before him) was going for! As he put it, you throw all your eggs in the same basket (Mort) and then they all break at once. Isn't sadism fun?

I saw the movie a while back but never posted in here.
It did some justice to Stephen King's short story. I found it obvious from the beginning the whole premise and how it was going to end. Not just because I read the book.
Side note: I thought Johnny looked retchid in this film. gonk

the movie is better then the short story i have to say. i am kicking myself for buying the book cause i don't want to read the rest of it and i had to fight myself to get through the secret window story

Not a huge fan of this movie, but the scene at the end where the cop man comes to talk to him and there are corn cobs EVERYWHERE. heart AHAHAHAHAHA. That made it all worth while.

Johnny as an insane writer dude makes me go WHEE! The guy who played John Shooter was good, too...I started giggling at the "You stole my story!" part. The ending was weird, since he kind of WAS Shooter, and I'll admit it confused me, but it was still a pretty good movie.

I liked this movie. Its good, a little confusing at first but then i get it. My favorite part is when his leg/foots asleep and he's wobbling all over the place. lol. I also like when he goes totally insane and talks to himself. Also the part when he's being the door and it says Shoot her and hes looking derranged with the hat and accent. you know at the end of the credits he sings like he's on something. lol. "mammas little baby loves shortnin' shortnin' mammas little baby loves shortnin bread" rofl

angel_of_joy i love movies that totally mess with your mind and this one does just that. Johnny Depp is just so convincing in this movie that he isn't doing anything wrong and then bam he's the bad guy! hmm, yes i agree, i really liked this movie, and i don't like most "scary movies"..johnny was brill!!
