Secret Window is my fav Depp movie. David Koepp adapted it very well and I actually like the movie version better than the novel. The best part is at the end where everything unfolds. I loved it.

yeaH..i liked this movie. =) i totally wouldnt have guessed the ending. it came as a total surprise to me..which was koOL. so im glad i didnt read the book. i read it after...and i still like the movie better. the mirror part though...where he broke his mirror and shower door? i wanted to see that. cuz a few minutes before that..i lost one of my contacts...so i was pretty much blind. and i couldnt find it since it was all dark in the movie theater. so i was triyng to watch the rest of the movie with one eye. crying and at the mirror part..i just heard everyone laughing..but i didnt see what happened. crying crying but newayz..still a good moviE. and imma watch it again sumtimes this winter break since igot the DVD> biggrin

I have to say that I didn't really like this movie. The idea is good but it just isn't for me.

Did anyone here read the book?
I read it and I dunno... the movie ending was more fun I suppose (though sadly, I guessed it. I have a tendancy to guess just about ever movie ending neutral ). The book ending was meh... kind of stupid in my opinion. Just wondering who else read it.

I read it. It's a very good book but it's way too detailed and the movie gathers all of the essential info only and works better. Plus Mort dies in the end of the book instead.. so yeah. And then the whole thing with Amy finding the hat with that note... Okay that was just dumb.

And the dream with Shooter throwing the "blood oranges" at him... if they put that in the movie... wow, I would have seen it 50 times. So ridiculous.

i love movies that totally mess with your mind and this one does just that. Johnny Depp is just so convincing in this movie that he isn't doing anything wrong and then bam he's the bad guy!

I heart heart heart heart Johnny Depp! This isn't the best movie he has been in but it is still good! biggrin Well I hope he makes better flims.... I still like it tho!:d I really liked the ending! HAHAHA Blooding Murder!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thats why I love him! well not really.....

I thought this movie was really good-I loved the part where you think Shooter grabs Johnny-but it's just him hitting a mosquito. I thought it was an ironically funny movie-but it was really freaky too.

I really enjoyed this movie. The whole corn thing at the end was a little disturbing, but I found it amusing.

Lol rolleyes question XD Yeah... the writing kind of sucked in it. David Koep tends to do a lot of cheesey stuff in his scripts but hell, as long as it amuses me... XD
