Kingdom of the Sky {People needed!!!!}

Ark reorganized her notes and tried not to act too impatient. With this important job, she had act camly.

Norel calmly walked into the dinning room and sat in the chair that is normally occupied by her. She hardly even noticed the presence of someone new at the table but when she did, she bowed her head politely wearing a delicate smile. Grabbing her napkin she gently placed it on her lap. Norel placed a small amount of food on her plate and slowly began to eat.

Name: Amaya
Date of birth: June 9th
Previous Experience: Training sheep herding dogs for our local shepherds, and occasionally hawks for the noble family.

Amaya handed back the sheet to Ark. She turned toward the newcomer at the table. "Hi, I'm Amaya."she said rather softly.

She looked up when Amaya introduced herself. She had half opened her mouth to speak when she remembered. Slightly embarressed she looked back down to her food and no longer had an apetite. Norel stood and put her napkin back on the table. Not looking up, she bowed to the new comer and Livvie. She walked out of the dinning room clenching her dress.

Livvie quickly rose and followed Norel "Norel, honey its okay. Come back Ill introduce you." She says smiling and putting her hand on Norel's shoulder

She looked over her shoulder to Livvie with sadness deep in her eyes. Slowly, Norel nodded her head and walked back to the table. She stood by Livvie's side, but was still looking down as her hands held her dress in tight fists.

As they approached the table she smiles "Ark, Amaya, this is Norel. She has come to stay with us for a while. She does not speak, but she is very talented on the piano."

Norel looked up for a moment with a faint smile playing on her lips. She bowed her head to both Ark and Amaya as her way of saying hello.

Looking at Norel made Amaya feel shy. "I'm sorry about..before, I didn't know."

"Welcome to the household! I assume Madam has already gotten you set up?" All this was said without looking up from Amaya's application, "Amaya, dear, are you older than fourteen?"

Briefly looking at Amaya, Norel left the room as they began talking about business. She silently made her way into the music room and sat down at the mahogany and ivory piano. Gently, she stroked the top of the piano and ran her fingers across the keys without pressing down on them. She sat in silence for a moment more when she began to play something composed by Mozart that wasn't very well known. Each note was sharp and linked perfectly with the next in an inspiring tune. Norel played each note with her eyes closed taking in only the sound of the piano's harmony.

Ark's head jerked up and her eyes closed almost involuntarily as the sound of the piano drifted through the air. Although it was very quiet at such a distance, she revelled in the sound and began to sway a bit.

While she played, she mind drifted back to her family when she was a child. Remembering the happy moments of playing in the garden and dancing around the pond. Her brothers and sisters admiring her talent with the piano. Shortly after, as her mind wandered, so did the music she played. To an outsider who did not know mozart's music, they would not have noticed the change in song. Norel began to play a tune she made up when her brothers and sisters were dancing around the piano. Remembering the lyrics they had made up, she opened her mouth to sing along when nothing came out. Norel hit a wrong note and her eyes burst open once again being reminded of her husband. She closed her eyes in silence and held back all to familiar tears.

Livvie was on her way to the Rose Gardens when Norels music stopped, so she turned to the Piano room "Norel, would you like to come take a walk with me in the Rose garden? Or would you like to stay here with the piano?" She says smiling
