Setsuna followed her gaze toward where Shiane waited, and frowned. "If you're thinking that we're lovers, you're completely wrong. Strangers would be the best term." He spoke with barely any expression. "Besides, I'm not like that anyways...if you know what I mean." He disappeared, only to reappear crouching nimbly on the branch of a tree, looking down at Naru, smirking slightly.

Naru frowned back up at him. "Im not that stupid." she replied stiffly. Sitting down on a nearby rock, she carressed the tips of her wings softly, and avoided his gaze. Her multi-colored hair fell in front of her face, and she brushed it back behind her ear. A look of annoyance passed over her face as she did this.

Setsuna grew bored and suddenly leapt from the branch with great agility. He landed directly in front of Naru, holding a sugar glider in his mouth by the scruff of it's neck. His eyes were narrow, and his wings flicked. The sugar glider squirmed, but to no avail. Setsuna had caught his prey for the morning. "..."

Naru leaned back slighty and stared the thing he grasped in his hand. "What're you gonna do with that?" she asked, still eyeing it slightly. To stop herself from falling comepletely off the rock, she pressed her palms down onto it behind her. The stone felt cool and hard to the touch. Her wings lowered, and touched the surface lightly.

Setsane's eyes slitted a bit more. //Eat it.\ His voice entered her mind, since he was holding the sugar glider's scruff in his mouth. He was about to bite harder into it, then glanced back to Naru. //Is there a problem with that?\

WAtching the two with an amused look on her face she kept silent, though when Setsuna caught the little creature he was going to eat she had to step forward and say ,"Setsuna, if you must, then eat it, but I must continue on."

Gazing at the other girl for a moment, she replied, "N-No thankyou. Im not hungry." Leaning farther against the rock, the feathers on her wings folded a bit. Then, as they brushed the surface again, the rock went from grey, to multi-colored.

She began walking in the direction that she had been taking, thinking about what the elves would say when she finally reached them. She was sure that at least one of them she would have known all her life, or at least most of it, would be waiting for her.

She was sure that at least one of them she would have known all her life, or at least most of it, would be waiting for her. Without second thought, Setsuna followed after Shiane. His wings flicked back at Naru. //Come too, if you wish. He said. The sugar glider still hung from his mouth squirming. Setsane was content to just leave it hanging there for now, but shrugged and snapped it's spine with ease. He swallowed it in a few bites, and brushed his hair back a bit.

Naru stared at him for a moment, mouth open and gaping. "Ok." she replied quietly, getting up to follow them. Taking a quick glance back, she saw various creatures staring oddly at the colored rock she had just made. She smirked at the looks on their furry faces.

Setsane continued walking, running his tongue over his teeth from time to time. He missed his tail and it was aggrivating him. He glanced back over his shoulder at Naru and stopped in his tracks. A wolf demon loomed behind her, ready to attack. Without hesitation, Setsane leapt over Naru and came down on the demon, pushing it to the ground. It became a scrabble. The wolf demon's canines ripped into Setsane's left shoulder and Setsane let out a cry of pain before pinning the demon to the ground with his wire around its throat. He slate eyes gleamed harshly and he yanked the wire, ending the demon's life. Setsane stepped away and looked to his arm. Blood ran down it. "Damn." He growled, plopping down on the dirt. Pain surged through him and he cringed.

Naru gasped as she took a few steps back, hands clasped to her mouth. "Are you ok?!" she quickly said, moving towards him. Her wings now twitched and flittered nervously, and she was shaking slightly. "Thankyou. If it were'nt for you that thing might hav caught me." she said, gesturing to the dead form next to him.

Setsane muttered a stream of curses before his eyes met Naru's. "Nothing you couldn't have handled. Just my stupid instincts made me react that way." He said, but he gave a wry smile. He looked to his arm and scowled. "Damn that hurt."

Naru gave a slight laugh at his comment. "Thankyou." she said again. "Can you heal that?" Her face showed an expression of concern as she looked over the wound.

Setsuna's scowl became a frown. "No, not on my own. I'm only in control of healing my feelings." He leaned back and lifted his arm to his mouth and began to lick clean the trail of blood that ran down to his fingertips.
