She looked at him. "Luckily- for all of you- I am not taking a grade for this. If I were, I doubt a single one of you would walk out of here with a grade they like. That display has to be the worst in the Academy's history. Flight Fenrir- work on your control. Emotional and physical. Vanaheim-" She continued to issue orders. Fianlly, with one last whithering glare, she nodded. "Unless there are further questions, you are dismissed."

"Yes captain..." Aki nodded meakly. Wow they had screwed up that time. She sighed, well...It was time for her next class. She whistled and Kia, back to normal, trotted over. She bowed to her captain and backed out.
(( crying I'm sorry Silent!!!!! I didn't know what to post in here! But I check at LEAST everyday!!!! And for a while there my comp time was cut. gonk *sob* I'm sorry!!!!!!))

Other than a glare, directed at everyone, there was nothing else to be said. The other classes went as usual, and as one could expect. Aki heard muted murmurs as she and Kia passed, but not many. Hardly anyone had gotten off without orders and extra work from the teacher.
Somehow- and it was quite a miracle- there were no more mishaps. And after their last class, the students were released for the next several hours to do homework, chat, and whatever else it was that students did when they weren't in class.

'Something to do' came in the form of a loud BWAM and a shudder that shook the whole space-station. It came from the direction of the dock, where shuttles unloaded the students at the begining of the year. A moment later, the lights flickered and went out, leaving students faculty and staff in utter darkness for long minutes as the back up generators came on-line, and the emergency lights blossomed to life, releaving the shadows with a dim, bluish glow...

"Whoa!" Aki had been in her room, lying on the bed when something hit. She sat bolt upright. "What in the worlds?!" She cursed and ran out of the room, Kia right behind her.
Bursting out into the main hallway it was pitchblack and Aki stummbled falling over Kia, who yelped. "Sorry Kia..." The lights flickered back as the genorators came on. Getting up off the groud Aki ran to find one of her commanders.

Those with combat expertise- Artillery, Flight, Computer- were heading towards the Hangars. The others were in the major hallways, trying to manage the students rushing towards the sounds. Another BWAM and tremor shook the ship. Rithvur took a shortcut through the dormitory wing to get to the Hangar section of the Station. His path took him right past Aki and her strange mutant-pet. (( mrgreen ))

Aki saw Rithvur pass just as the lights came back. Aki staggered to her feet, running after him, lightly smaking Kia on the nose for she had taken Aki's uniform between her teeth.
"Ah! Commander!" Aki called after him, running to catch up. The next hit made her stagger on her feet. "Sir! Whats happening?!" She asked, brown eyes frantic.
Kia, done pouting, came up to her side whining.

He turned to look at her, still running, he din't falter, which quietly reminded anyone who saw him that he was born on a world where earthquakes and things Terrans consider disasters were part of everyday life. "You're one of the communication students... Kokou, was it? I don't know. But Mithril should have the Pets ready to go already." He scowled for a minute, quiet for a long minute, studying her as he easily dodged the few students who were actually in their dorm rooms.

"Yes sir, Ko-Kou." Aki nodded, trotting to keep up with the commander. "Well, we may not know whats ahppening but can I help in anyway? Go to the communications tower, open up the outside screens? Anything sir?!" Aki tried to keep the anxiousness out of her voice, but nothing could keep it from her eyes.

He sighed. "Your teacher's already on that. And almost everyone else is tied up in flood control..." He sighed. "Come with me. Problems or not, you're in the top of your class when it comes to the flight simulators. You're getting your chance on the field. That dog of yours, too." He glared at the hound. "I swear he- she? is mor intelligent than a mutt has any right to be. I wouldn't be surprised if she took over my job."

Aki's eyes got wide, she blinked. "W-wait...what?!" She stammered. Top of her class, a chance to go to the feild. Aki controled herself and bowed. "Yes sir! My honour to assist you!"
Aki gave a small laugh at the mention of her dog. "Kia has been many places with me, and she's no ordinary dog." Aki smiled.
