CloudControl What's it like running a guild, big or small? I've been contemplating on creating my own guild for some time now, but college anmd work have been eating me up lately. 
Hmm... That's a good question :3 ... Let's see...
It's definitely a bit of a "power trip" being the captain of a big guild. I definitely like the whole "being the boss" part... I'd been a Mod for like five different guilds before creating Burn, & there was always a substantial part of me that was kind of bothered & "thrown off" by the fact that I didn't get the final say. Actually, I'm currently a mod for two guilds & I still feel that way when dealing with those guilds. The great thing about having your own guild is that all the effort you put into it seems to be worth so much more. Plus it's your creation, your little brainchild. For me to look back on when I first created Burn & see how it's become one of like the 20 or 15 most popular guilds on Gaia... that's definitely rewarding.
Running a small guild is definitely easier & less stressful. Not that running Burn is a huge stress or anything. But frequently I'll sign on Gaia & feel the need to take care of certain things with Burn, even if I don't want to.
When I created Burn, I never ever thought it would become popular at all. The guild really reflected quirky aspects of me a lot... & in the biggest ways those are still there: the title "Burn", the "tongue-in-cheek" description on the homepage, etc. I guess the biggest difference between running a big guild & running a small guild would be that, the bigger Burn got, the more I had to worry about the guild & the guild members following Gaia's TOS.
I guess, to conclude/sum things up, I'd definitely encourage anybody to make their own guild if they have the time. Because making & running a guild DOES take time.

... I guess that's a good enough analogy. But, of course, the feeling of being in love is really hard to compare to any other feeling or experience.

Ehh, there used to be an "Entertainment Discussion" subforum, which was directly aimed at music discussion, movie discussion, TV discussion, & video/computer game discussion, basically, but it kind of failed.
Music discussion would NOT go in "The Arts" subforum, unless you're talking about music you created yourself or whatever.
The "Real Life Discussion" subforum is where music talk would fit best. That's kind of the "General Discussion subforum".

I have no idea what my first impression of you was! This guild has over 10,000 members, & my memory is probably no better than most of yours. I can't remember details about each member, unless I've gotten to know them or they post a hell of a lot or something.
Anybody who wants to join this guild can join this guild. Hence the slogan, "The Everything Guild... For Everyone, Everywhere..." . This isn't a high school cliche, nor is it some kind of "exclusive" guild that thinks that requiring you to fill out a longass form will result in some sort of elite group of people.
I'm actually not a big Marijuana fan, which kind of sucks considering where I live & how pot-friendly it is. I've certainly smoked weed before, but never spent my own money on it. With most weed, I just don't really like how it makes me feel. But I'm not some kind of "drug-prude" or anything. On the contrary, actually.
Don't know who Sonata Ar-whatever is.
& yeah, sure, I love you. Lets get married.
