((This will prob be my only post.... evil evil work.... gonk ))

While the three hybrids (Thuban, Maion and Hakan -derger-) stood and glared at each other, Kobbeh had left the scene, only to be filled in by the sound of approaching humans. None of them cared, however, for at that moment Ainia howled in terror and pain; Maion and Thuban were off.

Ainia had just been running around the streets and alley; perfectly innocent! She was shocked when the net was thrown in her way (for the humans were smart, they got ahead because there was no chance that they could chase her down). While the poor foxen was fallen and under the net, one of the humans had ran forward and dug a dagger in her side. It was then that she had howled, only to the laughter of the humans.

It was actually Hakan who arrived first on the scene. He had entered in style, with flames licking his skin. It was enough, the humans were no longer interested in the puny little foxen. ((One mentioned: "Wouldn't it be great to have that one's head over the mantle", to the agreement of the others))

Maion was next, she came from behind. When she saw Ainia bleeding on the ground, sparks silently flashed between her wings. Her priority was the foxen, however. Without a word, Maion burned through the net with centralized bolts. When she arrived to Ainia, she knelt down. "This is going to hurt... I'm sorry, but please try and be quiet!"

Ainia nodded through her quiet whimpers.

Thuban arrived and, upon seeing what Maion was about to do, he joined Hakan. Together, the two of them engaged in a battle with the two-legged humans. It was completely physical, with the use of horn and antler.

Meanwhile, Maion removed the dagger. Ainia had squeaked but otherwise said nothing. Again, using her Super powers that she had spent so long to master, she focus the electricity and was able to caterize the wound. Immediately thereafter, the tigon carried the foxen away.

The boys saw the retreat and then did likewise; using the roofs and alleys to weave themselves out of the area.

Tasaaki nodded to her brother and ran out after Danny. The two foxens were tiny compared most of the hybrids, besides the few other smaller hybrids, but at the moment Tasaaki felt smaller than ever because she was frightened to her wits end. Looking back, Tasaaki half-smiled to Ciara. "We'll be fine, Ciara. Me and Hisoka--we know how to handle ourselves in the snow, don't worry about it. Hisoka..."

"Don't even think about it, Tas," said the slightly bigger, light colored foxen. "I'll be okay. You might be my big sister, but that won't stop me! Ci..." Hisoka called to the small tigon. "Ci, you sure you're going to be all right?" Swallowing a breath of air, he also half-smiled at her. "I'm glad we met too... really glad. But if you're all right... take care." Following Danny and Tasaaki out the hole, the foxen nodded to his sister, who in turn nodded to Danny. "We'll be okay from here, Danny," Hisoka informed, shaking slightly.

"Yes," Tasaaki agreed. "We'll be okay from here. Take care of all the others!" Motioning to her brother, the two foxens fled the area, quickly vanishing amid the snow-covered land.

Hell beasts?Kirit thought, crouching down, and trying to watch the chaos from a distance without being seen. more than three humans was a match for him. Why did he have to let the blood trickle down on the street? It was painfully obvious he was hiding on that rooftop, and it would be any second a shout of "Found one!" would be the last thing he heard, if he didn't move quickly. A swift jump to the next rooftop, and a small hop to the next one, keeping on the side facing away from the street to reduce how much of him was visible. Jumping down into an alleyway, one of the guards was standing there with a torch. Luckily, he had no armour. A quarter second of concentration, and a wooden crate directly behind the guard exploded into hundreds of sharp needles, which stabbed into the guard's back, knocking over and stunning the guard. That simple attack was quite loud, and that single guard would not be the only one there soon. Without looking back at the collapsed guard, he ran. Not away from the city, or right onto the street, where where the humans were attcking anything that had four legs, but simply away from where he was now.

Apoc hadn't even tried to contain his kill, letting the blood flow freely from the corpse to the street below.

...that still didn't stop the urge to run and watch. Watch the humans now hunting and going after any hybrid they found. It thrilled him, to say the least, to see these humans hunting and hear the anquished cries as hybrids fell victim, both followers of Kobbeh and other random hybrids that had wandered into the town. Even if the same fate could claim him at any moment, a twisted grin crossed his muzzle. He loved this...he loved death. Some mourned it, some feared it...Apoc loved it. It was a necessity, and a wonderful thing.

The pained howls were a melody to him, a beautiful chorus that broke the once silent night. The blood now staining the ground, both human and hybrid, made the land even more beautiful. Grinning wildly, the small tigon took off across the rooftops, actually running after the hunting groups to get a better view. He kept himself hidden of course, as it's not much fun to watch when one is dead afterall.

*Kobbeh glanced lightly behind her to see Apoc, a soft smile crossing her cold lips. Her focus turned back to the streets, to the men below. Several fighting against wild hybrids, other mearly tormenting those captured or dying. Her large wings spread out wide and with a powerful flap, she took off for a breif moment. She emited a loud screetch to call all of her followers to the attack. Her wings tucked close to her frame as she dove, landing upon the shocked humans much as she did before. Long talons sinking into flesh, teeth gnashing at those that tried to fight her. Clawed wing opening and gouging those who were too close. Her large smile returned as she continued her rampage.*

Layla smiled softly at what her mate had said, but before she could speak she heard something coming up from behind and although she could not see it from where it was now, she knew something was nearby. Lifting her form to inspect the area, she crept slowly, hoping to catch a glimpse of whatever the creature was before it saw her. Turning around a large tree, she noticed a tall creature that looked remarkably similar to herself. A ticorn?, she wondered? Stepping out further, she greeted Typhoon with a polite bow and hoped the best might come of it, "..greetings stranger, do you come on orders of the dark house?.." She felt a mock bravery coming from her voice and it was as if she felt she owed this to her family.

Stella watched as the ticorn left the small shield of electricity, "Lift the foxen!" Her voice was stern and although she did not know the ticorn well, she expected him to obey her order. This was not a matter of pride, but a matter of helping the smallest have a better chance at surviving. Without the help the other hybrids were offering, Tasaaki, Hisoka and Ciara might not have had a chance against the humans. The super felt slightly rude for ignoring his question, but she felt there were far more important matters to attend. Noticing that the other ticorn had caught onto her attention snatching song, she smiled and spread her wings wide, hoping they might obey her now. In an instant so sudden, an arrow pelted the beautiful tinix's side, piercing her upper thigh and trickling blood upon the ground. With wide eyes and gritted teeth, she kept where she was, still awaiting the foxen. All of her worry was focused on the small kit on her back. He was safe hidden beneath her fur, but she still worried he would become hurt. If the other hybrids did not act quick, she would need to leave to protect the one that mattered most to her.

Polaris was glad to see that her tears had stopped, but what she had said was nothing close to pleasant. Turning to face the forest in which the two were making their way towards, he nuzzled Obsidia forward and spoke quietly, "There is nothing more we can do at the moment. We must continue on and if need be, I will fight to protect you." He could hear the crowds of humans running about the town, screams of other hybrids echoed loudly and he winced before continueing forward, fear of his own family becoming hurt, "What is most important is finding someplace safe."

Corann did not know what was going on below him, nor did he care much for his undivided attention was on the dark house leader before him. He wanted so desperately to pledge his full loyalty to her and aid in the chaos that they had caused that, once peaceful, night. He did not notice Ainia run into the town, smile playing on her maw. He could not see Morrigan flying high overhead looking, scornfully, upon him. What he did notice, however, was a sudden scream in both pain and terror. Although he wanted to smirk and ignore the pain the hybrid was in, he could not help but realise how familiar the voice had sounded. Even in pain, the tone carried a sweet gentle voice that he had always enjoyed, "AINIA!" He roared, suddenly leaping off of the rooftops and onto one of the men that had thrown the net upon the unsuspecting foxen. His claws were out and his fangs were bared. "FOOL!" He roared again, voice strange to all of those who had not heard a hybrid speak before. He worried not of hiding himself, his voice or any part of him. All of those who put into the pain that had been caused, would feel a matched pain... tenfold. He had been assisted by the others of Ainia's family and avoided them in combat, but truly destroyed nearly every man in battle. New wounds decorated his body and the snow was a crimson red hue.

Ciara smiled after speaking to the other foxen, but did not believe what they had said, "There are too many men out there! It seems they are gathering even more! Can you not trust both me and my sister and let her take you out further? She can leave you out of the town, where you will have a much better chance of making it alive!" Upon hearing a scream and roar, she turned to see her brother had left the rooftop and had begun battling the humans, himself. With worry and surprise in her face, she released a short breath and looked back to the pair, "Please!"

A battlecry. It was time to attack. Leaping out from the alleyway, onto the back of one of the male humans, his weight casing the human to buckle, and fall over, Kirit took an oppertunity, and bit right at his neck. He didn't have time for elaboration. The human's spine prevented him from biting his head off, but he was dead nonetheless. One of the guards saw this, and charged at him with a dagger. The guard tried to take a stab at him, but he jumped out of the way, (not completely, leaving some of his tail fur behind)and clamped his teeth onto the guards wrist. Hard. The pain made the guard drop the dagger onto the ground, and attempt to pry Kirit off his wrist. Knowing the guard would soon punch him from the face, he let go, red immediately trickeing down the guards arm, the salty taste of blood in his mouth. In a pained rage, the guard kicked him, almost knocking him over, and stunning him long enough for the guard to pick up his dagger. Kirit's claw swiped at the man, and left three long, deep gashes down his shirt and arm, adding a red tinge to the normally brown shirt. The guard looked from Kirit to the gash in his arm, looking at it for less than a second, but long enough. Kirit pounced, biting right between the man's ribs, shredding his precious organs.

*Kobbeh was occupied by one large group of men near the core of the battles. She lundged, and instead of instantly killing her victims, left them mangled to suffer. Sharp ripping into men's faces, puncturing their wind pipes, shredding their skin and breaking bones with her powerful jaw. As she lept onto one man, she was taken by suprise as another gaurd ran up and stabbed her with a dager behind the shoulder. She roared loudly, eyes becoming more wild than before. She lept off her current target, stumbling as she hit the ground. A fire lit in her eyes as her body tensed for a moment before breathing a large ball of fire at her attack her. She stumbled again and continued her ruthless attack, setting fire to the streets, buildings and all men who got in the way. Her blood lust was no longer about fun but total revenge.*

Feoren stepped in front of Layla, shielding her protectivly from whoever this new Hybrid was. He wasn't going to automatically distrust the newcomer, but with all of the crazy stuff going on right now, anyone might be an enemy. "We are here to get away from the destruction; why are you here?"

Apoc leapt into action as well, his white form suddenly diving off the rooftop and into a group of humans. A single loud roar was heard before claws, teeth, and wings slashed out at any moving thing near him. The red eyes of the tigon glowed as his enemies fell around him. One particularly brave human tackled the tigon and got in a stab on the creature's shoulder...before suddenly finding he no longer had a throat.

One would think that a wound would cause anger to the creature, but instead the same sickening grin crossed his maw as Apoc got back to his feet. Pain...blood...it was all a part of death, all a part of something he embraced so dearly. And it wasn't enough to stop him. Again the tigon leapt to attack, taking down all who opposed him.

Finally! They were out of the battle area and in a place hidden slightly in safety. It was here that Maion gently set Ainia down. That done, she glared down at the foxen; in anger ridden with worry. "Fool of a foxen! Ainia, do you realize you could have DIED back there!?"

Ainia, weak from her recent wound stumbled when she tried to take a step forward. While the sealed cut throbbed, it all together was not fatal nor incredibly painful. "I'm... I'm sorry, Maion.... I wasn't paying attention..."

"No, you weren't!" Maion growled and bared her teeth.

Thuban intervened, "Settle down, Maion! Ainia wasn't hurt too much, thanks to everyone's combined effort... even Corann's!"

Maion turned her anger on him, for it was much easier to be mad at Thuban (who she didn't particularily like much in the first place) than at Ainia.

While Maion chewed out Thuban for nothing he could have done (the poor ticorn just taking it quietly; for Maion's temper was as short and deadly as a simple electric bolt); Ainia heard the mention of Corann and immediately searched for him. She spotted him and almost cried out again, seeing his blood, "Noooo!" The foxen ran to him and tried to heal him (mostly licking his wounds cuz she has no power xD) "Corann, I am so sorry! Please forgive me. Please don't be hurt, not because of me... not ever!"

Hakan observed them all, especially noting Maion's despise for Thuban and Ainia's attachment to Corann. Settling, he kept watch. They all needed a break.

With every human killed, Kirit became feircer, the taste and scent of blood filling his senses, the feeling of his claws effortlessly shredding human flesh, his magic crumpling houses, as most of them were made of wood. Even the splinters of the shattered homes found thier place embedded in to the back of human skulls, not immediately killing them, but reducing them to a shreiking form on the ground, dying a painful death.

Although she had attempted to be bold for the sake of her family, she was relieved to see that her mate had stepped before her. His form stood incredibly tall before the newer male and she felt her head rest upon his thigh for comfort. The days choas had drained the small, pink ticorn of most of her energy and she was growing more weary every moment. Releasing a short sigh, she looked off towards the city, hoping the battle would end soon.

Corann's mouth was dripping with the warm blood of a human he had just killed. Unlike the other hybrids, he made their deaths quick and sudden. Furious with what they had done to the foxen he cared so much for, he wished to kill them all, but he wished suffering upon no one. Hearing the voice of Ainia returning to where he stood, he shot his thick muzzle in her direction. His eyes were bloodshot and blood trickled down his snout from a fresh wound in his forehead. His horns were decorated in torn pieces of clothing and other human possessions, "Forgive-?" His voice was rough, but held a sort of worry in his tone. As she began aiding his wounds, however, he pulled back suddenly. With a slight growl, he kept low and brought himself further from her, "Ainia! Leave this place..." He began, words almost shaking from his maw, "...NOW!" He was certain about his final word and roaring it out, he seemed much more intimidating that the other might have remembered. This area was no place for the foxen to be, especially to view Corann as he was.

Tasaaki and Hisoka had barely gotten further away from the group of hybrids when they heard the terrible cry. Looking back, Tasaaki's eyes nearly popped out of her eyes when she saw Corann leap into the fray... "Ainia?" she whispered. She knew Ainia. She'd met just about every foxen out there... "Hisoka. Go back to Ciara! I'm going to scout around annd look for Mike. He has to be around here somewhere!" Mike was the lead Foxen of the Elsin clan. She wondered where he was in all this sad chaos.

Hisoka started to go back for Ciara, but when he heard what Tasaaki said, he turned furiously, "Tas! No! You can't! C'mon--if Ciara says her sister can take us out of here..." His ear twitched. A huge crowd of humans were coming. A very big crowd... a mob. "Let's get back--Ainia's your friend, right!? We have to help her!!" Hisoka managed to grab Tasaaki's attention and the two headed back to where they'd originally left from.

Ainia cowered beneath Corann's growl. He had never done that before,a nd it worried her. She couldn't even squeak out a response.

Thuban took his view from Maion and turned to the cowering foxen. He scowled in her direction, more in concentration. He looked back to the bright and black tigon, "Maion... I will take Ainia out of here. We will stay on the outskirts. There is just to much chaos here...."

Maion paused in her anger and turned to Ainia and Corann. She jerked her head back to Thuban. She thought he was right, the ticorn was too much of a wimp to use his celestial power, the little he had. "Yes, go! You two are too much in the way here!" With that said, she turned and walked back in the battle, sure that Ainia would be safe in Thuban care.

Thuban walked to Ainia and Corann. He bowed his head to the tigon and then bent next to the foxen, "Come, Ainia, let's get you out of here!" He pulled lightly on her hair and then walked a few steps, expecting her to follow.

Ainia looked up at Coran and then after Thuban. With her tail between her legs, she solemnly followed Thuban. She looked back once to se Corann still standing there. Slightly, she caught sight of Tasaaki and Hisoka.

Hakan watched the two leave. Maybe this was for the best.....
