2005 Hybrid Christmas Party
It was a cold winters night. Frost covered the windows on all the houses in shops in Mayville. Snow covered the house tops and streets as white flakes continue to fall silently down to the street. Most people had retired to their homes, yet armed gaurds still wandered through the town, often stopping to breath warm breath into their frozen hands. The town was still, all animals in the surrounding farms were gathred in their barns or shelters, yet there was a shadow on the horizon. On roof tops, fences, piles of snow...there where shadows with gleaming eyes. Hungry hybrids or those just looking for mischief this christmas eve....
Welcome to the 2005 Domestic Hybrid Christmas Party! this is a Roleplay based event, but this roleplay will not carry over into the actual Drachen Welt Roleplays. All hybrids (including foxen and zondou) can be present in this event. you can use their house status or have your hybrid be independent. Feel free to Roleplay out any senario you want, the setting has been provided above ^_^
There WILL be a couple of prizes being given away through the event and they will be given out a couple of different ways.
The Free Breeding ticket and Free Evolution Ticket will be given away to the first person to post on a certain page number. I will not release that number publically because you guys shouldnt be thinking about that XD If you win it, and all your hybrids are super/dont think you will want to breed your hybrids, just PM me and you can give it to someone else ^_^ if the page number these tickets will be given away on is not reached, then a random post number will be chosen. If I (sapphireRain) get the first post on the magic pages, then the next person in line will get it.
The chance to win a free companion will arise too, and that will be given away to those who are most active (all the names will be assigned a number and entered in a random drawing)
Rules for the RP All basic roleplaying rules apply --No godmoding --avoid one liners/insanely short posts --No chat speak --Use an acceptable format for your posts (seperate actions from words) --Use different colors for your hybrids if there is more then one hybrid speaking/label who is speaking some how. --Be respectful --Go along with the time period/plot --Dont go into "closed doors" --You can read more in the DWHB, but these are the main and basic ones Some guild Rules that you DO NOT have to follow --You DO NOT have to have all your hybrids listed in your bio pages or your bios finished --You DO NOT have to have your hybrid be appart of the house they will be a part of in the Drachen Welt Guild --These Roleplays are NOT real guild rps, so what happens here doesnt have to carry into the DW rps, or it can be used as a history for your hybrid if you really want it to. Guild Rules/things that DO apply --You WILL receive your DWP and EP for this event! Leaders will have to try and keep track of this, sorry :/ --Your hybrid cannot be roleplayed as a level higher then it has evolved, but it can be lower (a super can be roleplayed as a basic but not as a Kontan) HAVE FUN! ^_^
This is a Hybrid ONLY rp. You -could- have your hybrid be owned by someone, but hybrids are not loved in Mayville, so you may want to think about this option before taking it.
If you have any questions about ANYTHING, please post in the Q&A thread. Please only post in character, if you have to be out of character, please seperate that from your post ^_^

*A dark figure was perched upon a house top, the moonless night cloaking her in a dark cloud. Her silhouette was hardly distinguish able against the soft gray sky; the dim lights from the pub right across the road casting a faint gleam upon her well groomed fur. Her eyes flashed a faint greenish hue as she turned her head to listen to the soft foot steps of a guard walking through the soft powder snow. Mild interest flashed upon her features, but quickly faded. She had been traveling across this valley much of the winter season. Food was hard to find and many people had been attacking hybrids as of late; their food was scarce as well. She and her few followers had been traveling mostly by the cover of darkness, but all livestock have been shepherded to their shelters by the time the sun has set. Tonight, She was looking for meat of a different kind. Her eyes slowly rolled back to the guard as he stopped in front of the pub to warm himself for a while. She saw a girl come out to him and speak, but Kobbeh wasn't concerned about who saw her, she was hungry and so were the rest of her followers. Her fork tongue flicked briefly before she slunk across the roof top. It was only a matter of time....*

He was tired of the cold. He was tired of hiding. He was tired of not admitting he was hungry, and eating some dead grass. But tonight, one of those problems would be solved. Tonight they would get real food. kirit almost purred at this thought, but kept silent. He stayed back, in less visible areas, as his green coat was highly visible against the gray sky and white ground. His eyes stayed fixed on Kobbeh, hoping for any signs, signs of when to move.

((I think it would be cool to RP Tunilio and Danny side-by-side, even though in the guild they would be no where near each other. hmmm*shrugs*))
The soft jingling and clanking metal could be heard from the large Ticorns bridles. The remained relativly quiet to those who did not speak their language but, from the post they were tied up at a rather up-beat conversation was taking place. "Its Christmas eve and I was hopeing everyone would meet for the visit." the darkly colored stag said to his partner. Great blue voids met bright green ones, the grey-pelted Ticorn lazily shook his mane out of his face, "Eager to see Nim, huh?" a light chuckle escaped him as he smiled at his younger brother's obvious affection towards his beloved, "Just wait they should be here." The grey pelted male slowly turned his head to scan down the street to see the pink coat of his mate, Easter, for surely the the two, Easter and Nimaur, are never far apart. The black ticorn pirked his white tipped ears, someone had come out of the pub. Perhaps it was they're owner? He trashed his tail from side to side in fear. If she comes now then he and his brother coud not see their significant others, they'll have to leave. "Calm down, Danny. It isn't Raisa." The larger grey pelted super sternly told his brother. Danny swung his head over to glare at the his partner. He hated being told what to do, he had been all his life. He was about to make a smart retort but something caught his attention. The faintest shimmer of darkness came to his eyes, from a nearby rooftop. His brother raised his head to look along side Danny, "What? Whats wrong?" he whispered out of the corner of his mouth. "I thought I saw-Nevermind" Danny shook his head and turned his attention back to the quiet street as the grey ticorn sneered at him from behind. "Hey," Danny turned to look at his brother, "You didn't ask Mars to come did you?" Danny quickly turned his head back to face the street; he suddenly found it difficult to look his brother in the eye. "I, uhmm, asked Obsidia if she wanted to come." A low growl emmited from behind Danny's black head. "You know, if you ask Obsidia, Mars for sure will be right beside her!" The grey male roared at his brother's shrinking form. "Sorry Tunilio, I just thought it would be nice for her to get away and have a little fun for once." Danny replied in a small voice. Tunilio dropped his bottom into the cold snow, ears dropped, he knew there is no joy to begotten when Mars is around! Hes a mood killer! A Party pooper! "There goes our chirstmas..." he muttered.

((I am sorry, I have finals this week, so I will be a bit more idle than usual! I should be on quite a bit during my winter break though!^^))
Polaris hadn't truly wanted to venture into Mayville, but his determined brother had set his mind to exploring the town. Wandering behind him, the large tigon tried to keep himself low to the ground in case a human wandered out and spotted him. As low as he tried to keep himself, however, it was of no use. His sky blue fur stood out like a sore thumb atop the white, snow-covered ground. As odd as it was, the tigon was not worried about being attacked by the villagers, but of frightening them. The last thing the Earth House member had hoped for was to start some sort of a riot. Once both Corann and he passed through the gates he noticed a strange feeling engulf him. It seemed another hybrid... or more hybrids, were nearby.
Corann led his brother and remained just as alert. Massive white paws led him forward as he looked over the house tops and smirked broadly upon noticing a familiar dark shape. He said nothing after this realisation, but decided that he would explore her group of hybrids if he could lose his sibling during the night. The tigon was sure his brother would get lost in thought along the way and knew that Polaris would not approve of his thought of joining with the Dark House.

*Kobbeh's eyes flashed, her wings opening as she moved down the roof. She let out a low hiss, a soft signal for those following her to move. She caught a glimpse of two ticorns outside of the pub, but she wasnt concerned at all. If they attacked her, she would kill them and eat them too. She did not notice the pair of tigons. She sat perched on the edge of the roof, her eyes glowing bright green as the dim light from the street below caught her wild orbs. Her large ivory fangs flashed, her claws ripping gently into the shingles upon the roof as she lundged. Her wings allowed her to glide on the cool air for a moment before tucking them quickly against her frame as she dove, claws outstretched, grin wild and unnatural. The man turned quickly just before she landed upon him.*

Polaris had wandered quite a ways from his brother, scanning the closed shops down the very quiet street. Behind him was a visible trail of his footprints, so he did not worry about his brother finding where he had went. With a faint smile, he stopped walking and lifted himself to the window of a jewelry store. It would be fantastic to gather a piece or two of these fine stones for Maion... or even as a gift of leadership to Twilight. His felt his cheeks burn red as he thought of Maion once again. She did not approve of his feelings, nor did she return them; the blue tigon was smitten, but understood nothing could come of it. With a short sigh, he had become lost in thought... It was a suprise, however, that he did not hear the pounce and rustle of the shingles atop the building that Kobbeh once sat upon. In fact, it was only the scream of the man that had caught his attention. Shaking his head and returning his gaze to where Corann and the ticorns had been, he noticed a newer figure - Kobbeh. The large blue feline could not keep the look of disgust from his face as he watched his brother do nothing about the attack.
Corann had been interested as to what the beautiful female would do. She sat so perfectly utop the building with a gaze that seemed to have the ability to pierce through anything. Keeping his site from meeting hers so soon, he only watched from the corner of his eyes, faking interest in items around him. It seemed only a moment later the man left the pub, alcohol in hand and the wild cat was upon him. Unable to keep his expression from becoming wide with alarm, he quickly tried to surpress his shock and smirk lightly. This attack had not been provoked, although he could not blame the woman - she was hungry.

((I always get distracted every time I come here to try and RP. X3))
Tasaaki watched both Polaris and Corann as they walked past the many different buildings. She was laying atop a balcony, acting more cat-like than usual. "Seasons greetings," she murmured, grinning. Looking at the snow, she reminescenced (sp?) about her home of Elsin Tundra. Familiar, and yet, so strange... That was what snow was to her. A familiar friend, and yet... a strange enemy. After all... the snow had taken her only blood-related family.
Hisoka was also on the same balcony as Tasaaki. However, he merely wanted to watch the snow--he was single-minded like that sometimes. "Tasaaki..." he whispered, still staring at the snow. "This reminds you of home, huh?" He could tell by the somewhat pained look on her face that she was remembering one of her most harsh memories.

Tunilio once again shook long purple strands of his mane from his face. Danny rested his head on a nearby pole. He took this chance of momentary silence to enjoy the wonderful scence of pure christmas joy around him. A blue blur caught his eye, It was a tigon looking at the beautiful trinkets of the jewlery shop. Tunilio smiled knowing that he and his sibling were not the only hybrids in town. He scanned back over to the guard, the building he was guarding and....Kobbeh? He screwed his face up in confusion as he woke up Danny with a smack of the tail. What happened next he least expected. A roar heard behind him confirmed his thoughts on whether he was awake or not. Tunilio remained silent for he knew his place, and his power.
Danny leaned his aching neck against the pole he and Tunilio were tied to. He did not notice the brilliant blue tigon for the jewlery shop was behind them and his neck was in a bit to much pain to bother to turn it around. A gasp escaped his brother next to him and he was smacked atop the head by Tunilio's tail. "Wha-" and thats all he said when he'd heard the screech of the man before the black shadow on the rooftop leapt upon him. The man did not scream again. Danny snarled in indignation, if she was hungry than of course his brother, not him, would've gladley showed her to a better meal than that. Even if the black shadow was, Kobbeh, leader of the dark house.

*The event was over quickly. Blood stained the new fallen snow as kobbeh released her teeth from the mans neck and drew her claws away from his core; warm blood seepin through his clothes. Her orbs adjusted as she caught a glimpse of the Ticorns, an evil smile coming to her lips.*
Keep staring and you will be dessert.
*she hissed coldly, tongue flicking lightly as she spoke. She bit into the man hungrily and tore a chunk of flesh away eatting it quickly before looking up again. Now was not the best place, there where other humans around. She sunk her claws back into the man and opened her large translucent wings. One powerful flap threw fresh powder into the air all around as she glided upward and landed partially back up on the roof. She eagerly went back to her meal; human flesh was not what she would normally choose to eat, but it was easy and available.*

Obsidia remained hidden on the jewlery store rooftop behind a gently smoking chimney. With her grey wings tucken tightly behind her trying to be as easily unseen as posible. She knew Daniel and Tunilio were down there but she did also see a white tigon which she did not know. This bothered her and she wanted to wait until he'd cleared out before she snuck over to greet the two ticorns. More snow piled itself on her paws and she thanked Mars for finding her these trendy fire patterned armwarmers. Shaking some of the snow off her back and paws she remaind keeping a watchful eye on the two ticorns and the white tigon. Minutes went by as she began to doze off in the biting snow. She shook herself awake and decided to take a bit of a chance and look over the jewlery shop overhang and see what was going on below. That should keep her awake. She stalked over in the gentle crunching and sloshing of snow and took a peek down below. To her surpirse and delight a familiar face was there. She smiled and did a small "psst, Polaris!" Then a shriek was heard((presses fast-forward)) Obsidia, stuck in frozen fear, lost her balance and fell off the overhang, nearby Polaris. She scrambled over to him as Kobbeh pulled her carcass up to a rooftop.

A small white Tigon stood on a rooftop near Kobbeh's, the creature being sure to keep himself in the shadows. Amusing really how runty he was....one day he'd grow into something more...something much more.
But for now he was small, hungry, and among Kobbeh's followers. Hissing the creature unfurled his wings and stepped forward from the shadows. He made his way quietly to the rooftop edge, peering over it with a rather wild glare. He didn't plan on staying there long...just long enough for the right prey to come along...

((I am going to RP Hakan's entrance, too -the smexeh derger...he will be darkred *swoons* ))
Ainia ran forward and pounced playfully in the snow. She was used to hunger and didn't let it get her down. Besides, her speed allowed her to catch the nearly impossible rodents like moles and such to keep her hunger pains down. Besides, the foxen was small, so she was fine. "Hurry up, you two! Geez, you are soooo slow!"
Maion's eyes sparked angrily as she glared at the foxen so far ahead. While lightning int he clouds was rare at this time, the dry air helped her electric powers. Zapping the little foxen, who squeaked and then taunted the super, Maion ran ahead, hitting Thuban hard with her tail.
The ticorn was not about to be left out.... "You did that on purpose, Maion!" he growled and ran to catch up. Of the three, Thuban was not hungry. He happily lived off of tree cores, needles, and berries.
The foxen reached the city and then streaked through the streets at random points. She ran right past the feasting Kobbeh, thinking nothing of it.
Maion continued to file. She eventually jumps to rooftops, for her bulk was uncomfortable at some moments, avoiding all the other bodies. Catching sight of Kobbeh, Maion landed nearby, her eyes flashing. She said nothing, even though her rage was apparent. Deep down, Maion cared for humans.... and to see a hybrid (Kobbeh of all things) eating one felt like cannibalism to her.
A deep voice echoed behind the tigon, and a funny looking hybrid with a red ribbon stepped out of the shadows. He actually smirked at Maion when she turned. He nodded towards the feeding Kobbeh, "You cannot help him now, you know..."
Thuban finally clattered nearby (Ainia was nowhere to be seen). He skidded to a halt, avoiding an imminent collision with this new arrival.
Everyone stared at eachother, Maion keeping a sparking eye on Kobbeh.
