Janelle clapped her hands together. "Welp, my work here is done," Janelle grabed Coral and walked off. "Enjoy the show," she asked.

Del shook his head in exasperation. Really, playful teasing is one thing, but this? Not even Hera would find pleasure in tormenting those with painful memories. he decided against physical contact, for he didn't want to sustain any bodily harm. So, he decided on a verbal route to healing.
"I've heard talking about the past makes it more bearable," he ventured kindly, wanting to undo some of the damage Janelle had done.

Arianna looked at Del with tears in her eyes, "That's true, but it's too hard to say what that Saukerl did. I've found in the past that telling people what's eating at me makes things worse."

Del nodded his head in acceptance. Right, it was best to take her mind off it. Luckily, Del never left the cabin without bringing along his seed collection.
"Say, what's your favorite flower?" he asked, changing the subject. While he waited for her response, he untied a small red leather pouch from his belt.

Del gave Arianna a wink and went rummaging in the leather pouch. Hmm, heliotrope, heliotrope. Darn, why did that girl have to have such exotic tastes? He then felt the tulip pod of a forget-me-not. Eh, close enough for what he intended. He withdrew the seedpod and with precise motions he split it apart, revealing a small seed inside.
"Mind holding out your palm please?" he asked.

Arianna held out her hand and watched as Del dropped the seed in her palm. Arianna blinked and a forget-me-not bloomed in her hand. She smiled, she had always like forget-me-nots.

Del tch'ed at himself in annoyance. "Bloody mutations," he grumbled, "never could get a handle on the Boraginaceae family." He was glad she had smiled, though. He drew the drawstring pouch shut and attached it back to his belt.

"Oh, I was just complaining how I couldn't change that seed into a heliotrope. I can usually mutate seeds into other plants than usual if they're close together in the genetic scheme of things," he replied. He then realized that his explanation probably didn't make much sense either.
He waved his hand over some of the heather, and a small blueberry plant sprouted from the heath and started sending out small shoots laden with dark purple berries.
"See," he said, "like this."

Arianna nodded then she put her hand on the dirt. Arianna concentrated and searched through the dirt, she wasn't digging it was more like she was using a radar. Arianna finally found what she was looking for and pulled it out of the grown telepathically. All of a sudden Heliotrope burst out of the grown, Arianna smiled.

Del eyes popped, just like the berries in his mouth that he had started munching on. "Wow, I would never had thought rummaging through the under-soil to find the needed elements," he exclaimed.
