  I like the trailer and the teaser. Well then maybe we shouldn't do an ad... or we should talk to Gaia about that. Also another option is only running the ad during the ball with a link to the forum. Because then we'd only have to pay the few dollars for like 3-4 days, and that's not so undoable. ♥

Even if we don't have an official facebook add, we might be able to use the facebook "Gaia connect" thing to our advange. I'm one of the few people on the face of the planet who is not on facebook, so I'm not exactly sure how it works. Is there a way to advertise just to the people that use the facebook Gaia connect thing?

Yep, I think someone said something about using the Gaia connect on Facebook.
I think it means that those who have connected their Gaia accounts to Facebook can receive updates on Gaia from their facebook pages.
But in order for us to tell people about the Gaia Ball using Gaia connect, I think we need to contact the Gaia staff, since they are the only people who have the power to send people updates via Gaia connect.
...Did that make any sense? xD;;
Anyway, I don't really have any ideas to share yet... But I will definitely tell my friends about the ball, and hopefully they will be interested, and tell their friends, and so on!~ c:

Kala Kirya Classic, Shu. I like it. I just kind of want to do that anyway now. razz 8D The idea's working really well to unite members and advertise our group so far. The idea was that the background music and lyrics to the song is made, and when that's done, everyone else pitches in and record the chorus together. Then another person makes a vid for it. =D But then we'll need musically inclined people to help on this. And someone who can make good videos. But if it goes well, this whole thing will be very rewarding. =)

So I already PM'd this to Angel, but I'll post it here for you guys and gals to see.
So for funds and advertising we could reward our donators and advertisers.
So much gold donated would get them a free goodies/baddie bag, voodoo(chibi) doll. The higher the donation, the more art they get.
those that put our banner in their signature and guilds would get free art as well. It would go one item of art for one month that they've kept it in their signature and such.
Also we need to conquer Youtube with this coming ball. People are on YT an insane amount each day, and what better way to get the word out?

Now that last year's ball is over i can (finally) complete the fanthread and link it to the guild. It is very overdue >< but I just didnt have the time to do it last year.
Also, I looked into the add's last year, however I decided not to bring it up due to it costing money. I myself am willing to donate to the cause, but I knew it would be unfare to ask others to donate money (as not everyone has the funds or means to do so), and I am not willing to cover the entire cost myself.
I think an add on gaia or even youtube would get alot of notice. I wanted to do a trailer irl last year and dress up greek to promote it, but it would take time and (not everyone would be comfortable doing it). Plus, we would need someone to edit it.
Also, another idea would to be to make a radio type show on skype, where we can all talk and promote the ball, record it and release it on gaia. We could do weekly/monthly updates or something. I'm not sure how this would work, but i know that in the past, gaia had a number of radio shows (last was PTAG to my knowledge, and they would plug the annual ball for us).
I'll think about it and let you know if i have any other ideas. I like the idea of going to the conventions, however i doubt i can help much with that as i live nowhere near one sadly.

i too would love to help in conventions, but i dont think any conventions will come to miami
i dont think theres anywhare to hold a convention in miami without it costing too much
