Chiron trotted into his office, his hand in a sling. He looked appraisingly at the new campers. "Hello," he said, cheerfully.

Lacey stared open mouthed at the horse guy. 'Why am I surprised? I saw a DRAGON near the trees for Gods sake! I'm sure I'll find some goat guys too! ' "Hello. I'm Lacey. I'm new here. Have no idea what to do where to go."

Chiron chucked at the girl's expression. "Lacey, eh?" he inquired and sat down in his wheelchair, turning into temporary human mode. He so needed the rest. "Demeter's daughter, I believe?"

Elifin rolled her eyes at the girl's expression. This was not something new to him. "I'm Elfin," he said, his voice soft, yet powerful.

" Demeter. Cool! " Lacey said. In any other situation she would have got out of here and start making new friends. But something was stopping her this time. She just stood there, not sure of what to do.

Black Annis rolled her eyes and decided that either she asked him who her parent was or not at all. She drifted over to Chiron and asked in her soft cool voice, "what about me?" Her black eyes searched the man in the wheelchair, searching for truth.
Maddox went over to Lacey to continue their conversation, he could wait for his turn. "I'm Maddox, I'm also new here. That," He gestured to Black Annis who was asking the big guy who her dad was, "Is my sister, Black Annis. It's a pleasure to meet you."

"Whoa! Hold your horses!" Chiron exclaimed, then chuckled at his choice of words. "Your father is Boreas, little lady."

"Thank you." Black Annis purred, immediately not liking Chiron for the little lady bit. She then turned around and swept to the doorway, before leaving she turned and said to her brother, "See you later, Madd." Then she glided out of the office. Once she was gone, the summer warmth flooded back into the office, warming everyone.
"See you, Annis!" Maddox called after his sister, then returned to Lacey, "so you're a daughter of Demeter, that's awesome. I wonder who my parent is."

Maya peered uncertainly into the office. "Um, hello?" Then she realised how dumb that sounded. There were people inside for the love of the Gods! She cleared her throat and tried again, "Um, Mr. Chiron?"

The girl's powers hit him like an ongoing truck. Somehow . . . her powers were the same as his was. Strange. "Who's my dad?" he demanded, his voice loud, now.
