The Pokeball contacted the Spheal in a hard location, so it didn't bounce off of its blubber as it had before. The device then sucked the Pokemon inside and began to wobble around on the ground a little. Before long, it came to a rest. Spheal had been captured!
You may evenly distribute 15 Experience Points to each of your Pokemon who have been used in this fight. Spheal's profile will be posted for approval.

When the Pokeball enclosed the Spheal inside and stayed shut it it took all of Metsuki's self control not to let out a cheer. He was so happy to have caught the Pokemon and to be able to get out of this freezing wasteland. He quickly returned Mozilla to his Pokeball and then headed back to the city. Metsuki had his fill of this area.

Due to his activity in the guild and his current standing on Team #1, Metsuki has been given another opportunity to take up another Solo Event with the same rules as before.
Solo Event Rules
1. Start the Event by describing which Pokemon Habitat your character is heading to. Your choices are Urban, Arctic, Tundra, Taiga, or Grassland.
2. Your character will manage to find a Wild Pokemon. If you aren't interested in this specific Pokemon, you may pass up the opportunity and continue looking. In this scenario, you are only allowed to do this up to two times, so if you end up passing up two Wild Pokemon, you will encounter a third, but it will be the last that you encounter in this Event.

As Metsuki left the Pokemon Store, he looked at the bustling city around him. He wanted to find a new Pokemon and although he could walk a great distance to an area outside of the city, he decided that he might just have better luck here. A city this size must have some interesting Pokemon in all sorts of nooks and crannies. Without giving it another thought, Metsuki turned and began walking down the street. A cool air rushed passed Metsuki as the morning sun beat down on him. It was a beautiful day to look for Pokemon. With a bit of luck, Metsuki might find one before too long.

After wandering into some of the deeper parts of the city, Metsuki would run into a Pokemon by itself. This Pokemon seemed more relaxed than most other Wild Pokemon the Trainer would have seen, as it was confident that nothing would be foolish enough to to disturb it. The Pokemon had a red coat that appeared to be on fire. It was bathing in the sun with its eyes closed, half asleep and enjoying the warmth that the sun brought even though the city was so cold.

Long before he saw the Wild Pokemon, Metsuki could feel a warmth wash over him from the other end of the alley way. Metsuki recognized the Pokemon almost immediately. One of the more elite Pokemon Trainers in his fathers clan used to have many forms of this Pokemon. They all evolved from the same Pokemon, but if allowed certain circumstances, they could each be unique in their own way.
This Pokemon's name was Flareon and it was lying around as if it didn't have a care in the world. It was obvious why: it was far more powerful than most of the other Pokemon that would be in Seiuchi City. The intense heat radiating off of it was making Metsuki sweat even from where he was standing. Or maybe it was because of something else. He felt anxious in a way that he had never felt before. This is a Pokemon that he simply could not pass up.
If he was going to fight such an enemy he would need a powerful ally in the fight. Metsuki unclipped a Pokeball from his belt and threw it a short distance in front of himself. "Joules! I am going to need you to be at your best for this one!" Metsuki said trying to encourage the Pokemon. Minun came flying out of the Pokeball mid-air and landed on the ground with a happy squeak. She had been in her Pokeball for a long time and it was good to breathe fresh air. She looked at Metsuki and then at the Pokemon she would be facing and her eyes widened. Joules let out a high pitched squeak and then ran away from the Flareon and hid behind Metsuki's leg. Metsuki looked down at her and said with a half-smile "I know it is frightening. But you are the only hope I have of defeating it. You can do this, Joules". After hearing that she looked at Metsuki cheerfully and said "Miii-miiii-nuuuuuun!" and ran back towards the Flareon.

The red Pokemon opened one of its eyes, noticing a human and a small yellow rodent that were staring at it. Flareon merely yawned and closed that eye, ignoring the pair and figuring that they'd just walk away on their own.

Joules seemed a little irritated at the Flareon's complete disregard for her. She got low to the ground, her tail went high into the air, and her hair was raised. She was ready to show the Flareon what she could do. All she needed was Metsuki's order.
Seeing her eagerness to fight the Wild Pokemon, Metsuki decided to let her have her shot. "Joules! Use your Thunderwave on it before it realizes who it is dealing with!" he said as he pointed at the Flareon.
The Minun planted her feet and began to focus her energy. Electricity sparked and cracked around her and Joules was letting out a muffled "Miiii-nuuuuuuuuuuun...". When her small frame looked like it could handle no more energy she launched the Thunderwave in the direction of the Flareon.
Thunder Wave – Electric Electricity rushes through the air, shutting down the target’s nervous system. Center – None Ranged None Effect: 1 Target, Column Thunder Wave creates a Column that is 2-meters wide. All Legal Targets in the Column are Paralyzed. Thunder Wave cannot miss.

This Wild Pokemon had a short fuse that had quickly been lit off when the yellow rodent zapped it with a strange light. The Flareon felt oddly slow and this was quite annoying to the red creature. It retaliated by suddenly charging as hard is it could towards the Minun, hoping to teach the Pokemon who it was dealing with.

40 (Physical Damage) - 5 (Minun's Defense) = 35 Total Damage Dealt.
Minun faints.
Minun was flung into the air by the attack from the Flareon and landed with a soft thud at Metsuki's feet. She was out cold and watching her small body lay there so still made a small twinge of doubt creep inside of Metsuki. This Pokemon was powerful and it would most likely take his entire team to defeat it. Atleast Joules had used her Thunderwave before she feinted.
"Joules! Return!" Metsuki said as he held out her Pokeball above her and returned her to her home. He needed to do some damage to the Flareon so he could capture it. But which Pokemon would he use...?
After some quick deliberation, Metsuki unclipped a Pokeball and threw it into the alley in front of Flareon. "Keris! You're up!" Metsuki called out as his Nidoran appeared on the battlefield in a bright flash. The Nidoran landed and faced the Flareon. He hissed at the sight of the Wild Pokemon.

Seeing as how Joules was knocked out with so little effort it was clear that same fate would most likely befall Keris. It was crucial for him to do as much damage as possible before that happened. Otherwise there might not be any hope in capturing the Flareon.
"Keris! Use Peck on the Flareon and see if you can rough him up a bit!" Metsuki said to his Nidoran half to encourage him and half to encourage himself. He needed to feel like he was still in control of this fight even though his better judgement knew otherwise.
Keris squeaked in agreement and ran towards the Flareon with his head down. He aimed the spike on his head at the middle of his target.
