• The thing is about Eric is that he's not actually human; and the thing about that is he's not exactly natural either. Eric is actually the result of an Apokalyptian Experiment called PROJECT: NEXUS. After holding a grand tournament for his warriors with one for female combatants and one for male combatants, Darksied found two parents whom he wished to use as his donors for his experiment. The Project (should it be successful) would take the DNA of these two Champions and create a being so terrifying that it would lead Darksied's Armies throughout the Multiverse and conquer every plane of existence that it set foot on.

However, despite Darksied's best laid plans and his apparent satisfaction with the Project's parentage, the destiny of PROJECT: NEXUS was linked with another... The New Genesis spy, Riza.

Riza was a New God from New Gensis who was sent by Orion to spy on Darksied eons ago and having seen the gladiatorial games that her "Master" had decided to put on; Riza became somewhat reluctant to follow her mission. As a part of PROJECT: NEXUS, she would dissect and butcher the bodies of the two winners and eventually take the best tissue from each and mesh it together in one humanoid. It was a painfully long process but after weeks generating and destroying possible vessels, Eric's body was finally built and infused with life thanks to a basatrdised version of the Life Equation. Darksied seemed once again pleased that his plan was going so swimmingly. He finally had his ultimate soldier but once again fate intervened and Riza stole a Motherbox in order to send Eric to New Genesis.

However, upon discovery, Darksied quickly mobilized himself to stop the traitor. Riza, panicking, knew she would not be able to save herself and Eric and decided to make the ultimate sacrifice in order to save him. She opened a Boom Tube and pushed the unconscious experiment through. She thought he was safe and as Darksied stared her down... She spat at his feet and was obliterated by his Omega Beams...

Disorientated from his travel inside the Boom Tube (as well as only just having been 'born'), Eric couldn't make out what was happening to him when he woke up. The ground was cold underneath him, like metal, and men in large bright coasts poked and prodded at what sounded like hard stone. Even as he tried to keep his eyes open, he could feel something being forced onto his face and his eyes slammed shut once again. He once again saw Riza, a tear in her eye as she thought of a home she'd never see again, disappear in a flash of red.

Jeremiah didn't remember much of his past. Apparently, he'd been hit by a car; it explained why he woke up to a loving family in a hospital in Central with little to no idea who he was. His Mother, so happy her son had found his way back, wrapped his arms around the young man as he sat up in his bed with no assistance. They said he'd been out for months and that everyone was wondering where he was. His friends, everyone. They even had a party for him when he went home.

However, try as he might to feel accepted in this set up that was apparently his own... Jeremiah couldn't help but feel like the World around him wasn't as simple as it seemed. There was something that the people wouldn't tell him. You could see it in their eyes every time he looked at them; there was something there that wasn't meant to be. And Jeremiah soon came to the conclusion that it was him.

This feeling of isolation drove Jeremiah to strange lengths. He would fight boys in his school, namely bullies or predators, with a skill and finesse that was not acquired within his memory.




• Jeremiah would begin to gain memory flashes of being inside the test tube on apokolips.

• Jeremiah begins to have nightmares of Darkseid and apokolips.

• Jeremiah awakens to his frightened parents and burned lines around his room. It turned out to be him, he had waken in rage during the night due to his nightmares.

• Jeremiah enter's middle school and meets a girl named Olivia.

• Olivia and Jeremiah become best friends during 7th grade

• Jeremiah and Olivia gains a romantic relationship during freshmen year.

• Jeremiah reveals what he remembers about Apokolips to Olivia.

• Jeremiah and Oliva become engaged after high school

• Military tracks down Jeremiah and olivia is killed in cross fire.

• Jeremiah rages out and kills the squadron sent to capture Jeremiah.

• Riza's mark activates and explains to Jeremiah what she did, and what he will face in the future, along with giving him a refresher on what he is and where he came from, and who he needed to protect himself from.

• Jeremiah changes his name to Eric rose

• Eric attempts to kill himself via bullet to the head, but his skin carbonation activates unknowingly by Eric to stop the bullet.

• Eric breaks down seeks to destroy darkseid for creating him if his life is going to happen likes this.

NOTE: I think we should get rid of the Rage ability. It's kinda overdone, whatcha reckon? I can easily maker this work without it.

And with each time he displayed an intellect or a body that he could not explain, Jeremiah had memories of a large mountain or monster looming of him. There was always glass between them... Like Orcas at the zoo. Only Jeremiah was the prized attraction, floating and waiting to be free.

Jeremiah's parents put all his strange memories and dreams down to the accident. They blamed things like PTSD or anxiety. They lied to Jeremiah's face and reported the new developments to their higher-ups in a heartbeat and relished in the money they recieved. Jeremiah was none the wiser. He just carried on. He kept his secret of the Granite Man. He studied hard. He worked hard in a local store. Everything was eventually going to turn out okay, or at least he thought it would. He believed his parents. Why shouldn't he? Even though he felt like such an outsider, he desperately wanted in and was content with leaving a humdrum life to do so.

That was until Olivia Wilde came to live in his sleepy, little town...

Olivia Wilde was not the hot actress from House. She was hot though and from the moment she walked into the store to buy chewing gum, Jeremiah was hooked. She was a whirlwind- a tempest- and she was picking him up and taking him for the ride in a matter of seconds. The two of them became fast friends after Jeremiah asked her out for coffee after he got off the morning shift; he would even go as far as to be honest with her about how he felt. It wasn't just about her though, it was about many things like how he felt he didn't belong and he had strange dreams and how he felt as if he was destined for greater. Even though he'd been so afraid to tell anyone, he told Olivia and Olivia accepted him and loved him for it. She wanted him to achieve greater- to be greater and the two finally became romantically involved.

After High School, Olivia and Jeremiah would get engaged but thanks to his parents telling the Higher-Ups a full platoon of soldiers were sent to retrieve him. Jeremiah could not be allowed to leave that small town and join the world; Jeremiah could not risk being exposed and discovered; Jeremiah had too much riding on him. So, with the Platoon dispatched, they began hunting for Jeremiah and Olivia relentlessly. They closed all highways out of town and, in a small prairie, the two lovers were found in their car.

Jeremiah tried tuning himself in but the soldiers shot anyway and covering his face, Jeremiah's skin turned black and protecting him from the bullets. He could not protect Olivia. She died of multiple bullet wounds in the car and Jeremiah lost it...

In a few hours all of the soldiers were dead and a black demon stood over them; breathing heavily and weeping. It took Jeremiah some time to realize he wasn't alone. Riza, or a part of her that she sealed in the young man, stood next to him. She would educate him. She would help him. She unlocked all of his memories and took him to the brink but Jeremiah re-emerged stronger for it.

He became Eric Rose, the Power Man, determined to get his own back on both Darksied and the people who killed his love.

Note: We'll go through powers and I have a cool idea for Riza's mark.

Riza's mark will be counted as a power because she will basically live as a sentient "computer-soul" inside you. Think Cortana and Master Chief.
