Now they were simply wasting time, no matter what that time was for. Illo quickly grew tired of this display, and saw that no matter what formation they chose, he would be the deciding factor in how well things went from here on. He bowed silently, keeping a serene countenance, and excused himself from the tent. Tonight would require much of his focus--all of it, why not--and so he needed a moment to meditate before the mission began.
If uninterrupted, the monk would meditate for a half hour before waiting at the gate for whomever decided to join him on that reckon excursion. The space of the camp was studied, using the flat stone in his pocket and a shallow tray of water to aid his psychic vision. He needed to be familiar with the space so that he could teleport there reliably. What was more, he needed to understand the way the space seemed to structure itself around the area as a whole, which would help him set up his spatial traps should the need to deflect bullets arise.

With the recognition mission, done, Ryan shared the details with Taylor, as Illo was mentally preparing himself.
They expected an attack, apparently the hunters believed there were some of the terrorist group inside this facility, therefore decided to take over this reserve to shelter themselves from the terrorists.
It would seem story was writting itself over again, since the reserve, Illo and Ryand had found themselves in the middle of a guerrilla warfare between the illegal hunters and the terrorists.
There were a lot of innocent lives at risk. both human and animal.
the wisest choice made by the monk and the landlord was to keep themselves as observers since they didn't knew if this theory of the hunters were true.
therefore only a few privileged would get to know this info.
However, Ryan did said to Taylor about expecting an attack from the hunters. which made the journalist wonder if they should warn the rest of the facility.
"Good call, we should but at the same time we could set the whole place in more panic than it already is. for now, we must prepare ourselves"
Said Ryan, while waiting for Illo to finish his meditation so they could discuss further planing for this matter.
"Yeah, but... well we do know we may isolate some hunters, but those terrorist attack from a distance, I've yet so see one of them... what if they interfere? we dont want to end up between both factions crossfire."
Planted Taylor as he was one of the few to discover that the terrorists only engaged near the reserve when the hunters tried to hunt near it. If the hunters try to take over the facility it was most likely that the terrorists would open fire as well.
"Indeed, yet I'm afraid we need Illo for this. While I do have some experience with tactical warfare one cannot be too cautious about evaluating situations, we'll need as many mature minds on this as possible."
Stated Ryan while conversing with the boy, the journalist was so nervous he was already smoking, perhaps that would explain his raspy voice.
