I'd have to go with dark Willow or Buffy. Because they have both prooven neither of them would come out superior when fighting each other, but they can both kick butt of other people. If they teamed up they'd probally kill everything in the world ;D
Because yeah Spike and Angel were both vicious killers, but they are only vampires and I think if it came to a fight between them and Buffy, Buffy would win.
But I think they are strongest as their scooby group. One thing Buffy shoes us is friendship was the strongest bond any of them had. heart

Buffy has dies twice, so she's obviously not the strongest. I agree with previous comments on Illyria being unstable. Buffy has killed Angel, and Spike is strong, but I don't think that he's the strongest. I think that Willow is the strongest of them all. She wicked powerful; she even almost ended the world! Go Willow!

Mariagray Buffy has dies twice, so she's obviously not the strongest. I agree with previous comments on Illyria being unstable. Buffy has killed Angel, and Spike is strong, but I don't think that he's the strongest. I think that Willow is the strongest of them all. She wicked powerful; she even almost ended the world! Go Willow! not forgetting Glory and Caleb, but Buffy kicked both their asses

I would say willow because she's so powerful in her witchy form. She almost destroyed the world. Also I would have to say Spike...just because....heh heh! mrgreen

I definitely think that Willow is the strongest. She can be really powerful. Spike is also strong but I still think that Willow is stronger. 3nodding

i think spike and angel are stroong because of their experiences...do u know what i mean? they lived for so long, therefore they have learned so much. but i dont think spike or angel are that strong....physically at least. illyria is unstable but powerful. and as i said...willow is the strongest one for sure. all buffy has is slayer strength so there is no way she can win. i agree with Mariagray, buffy died twice. so there is some proof that without her friends no way that she can win.

Alright, I agree with you on the Angel, Spike, and Glory part. But Willow and Xander started out as "sidekicks" and branched out from there. Willow turned into a kick butt Wicca/Goddess and Xander became the heart of the team. Do you really think Buffy would have been so kick butt without these two?
Let''s look at the facts. Buffy was the longest living Slayer to ever exist. Do you wonder why? It was because of her friends. The Slayers from before all died at early ages, but not her. Xander saved her the first time by doing CPR. Willow brought her back from the dead the second time.
Needless to say, Buffy wouldn''t be with us today if it wasn''t for her "sidekicks". So no, I don''t think her alone is the strongest. I think the whole Scooby Gang is. If you put them together, they are unstopable.

Two words: Sprinting, and Marathoning.
This is why I go with Illyria. She's self-contained, even with her power sapped, and she would last a really long time in a fight. All the other characters need some form of feul.
Buffy's human, and needs to eat, sleep, breathe, drink, just like Willow does. Willow's magic can and will run out in a long-drawn fight. The vampires would last longer then them, but they still need to feed eventually. Glory has to brainsuck. Caleb gets power from the First. Illyria doesn't need any of this. And when they run out of energy, they're goners.
Or, she could just put them in temporal suspension and cut all their heads off. (pre-power sapping)

Sry for necro-ing this...
Well If we're talking end of AtS, some of you might be forgetting something... Angelus, because he was already one of the strongest added with the extra boost in strength (not sure if it was permenant) he obtained by biting that big lawyer dude from Wolfram and Hart. Illyria is dejuiced because of her unstability, Willow and Buffy are only human, which makes them vulnerable to being plain-old-killed, Caleb was killed so obviously neutral , and Spike can be dusted, beheaded or burned by the sunlight.
If you mean all of them in the time they were strongest, Illyria's time controling mojo ability will probably come out on top over WIllow, unless she uses a REALLY powerful spell to help protect her from it's effects, since Illyria was one of the ancient demons...
SO I'd Say Angel(us) if you mean at the end of Ats
But if at their best, this is the ranks I got:
Illyria
Willow
BUffy (although Buffy would probably kill Willow, because she's outr hero ^_^)
Angel/Spike
