"It's not always the easiest thing to get over." When he'd first joined some of the stranger things got to him but eventually you either got over it or learned to not ask questions.

Kaleb nodded weakly. Even now there were nights where he had trouble sleeping on his own, and he wished it were possible to just curl upon Rude's couch again and sleep there.

Kaleb didn't mind the thought of being called in at odd hours to heal, but he figured that wasn't all the job entailed. "Other companies... They use the same tactics?" Certainly if the Turks were out dealing with potential threats to the company, other companies would also have methods for dealing with threats.

He nodded. "Though the Turks are the only group i am aware of that still operates with the function we have. Most people know that creating a group that could rival us would be almost impossible." Mostly because Rufus would, most likely, snatch those people up first.

"No. Very few people actually know what we do, those who did generally find it better to not speak of us." He turned slightly as Rufus moved to another group of people. "If someone digs though our company records the Turks look like nothing more Rufus private secretary's. Most of what we do is done without other's knowledge."

Kaleb smiled a bit, and blushed. "Secretaries or toys." He rubbed at the back of his head. "I-it feels a little embarassing, but at least it's safer that way..."

He chuckled slightly. "The less they know the better. So i've enver bothered correcting them if they want to think Rufus just keeps us around because we're nice to look at"

Kaleb smiled a bit. "I-I guess it's a good thing that one woman seemed to be more interested in telling me what she thought my job was than actually asking me about it." He glanced in that direction briefly, looking away very abruptly when he caught sight of a pair of women from the cluster giving him what could only be described as sly, knowing smiles.

Kaleb nodded, very pointedly not looking in the direction of the women. He didn't blush quite as much this time, but he still looked rather embarassed and flustered. "I-I'll try to get used to it."
