"Sybrant?" Aran asked, glancing down at the girl. He didn't look too concerned with the fact that something that was apparently both large and in charge was coming their way. He glanced about at the running people, listening for the third wyrm that was supposedly around here.
Haku glanced up as he neared his bond, aware of the other wyrm near them. A shadow wyrm? Near here? He first thought of Erebos, a growl rising up at the thought that maybe this one was associated with the darkness that had harmed Thyra. He let loose his growl, changing his direction towards the one that had set all this in motion. Shadow wyrm!
Haku, get over here!
But... it's a...
Light, dark, or a forest of candy, I don't care! Leave it be and hope it eats that human girl from before.
FINE. Haku redirected to Aran, stopping a few feet away from his bond and new acquaintence.

Sybrant charged through, her silver gaze met upon a man, a strange hybrid Wyrm, and... Senka! She took a cautious step foreward, though her eyes betrayed her actions. Inside, she had no idea he was the one who had helped Senka. He could've been the one to cause her Bonded so much mental pain.
She took another step foreward, another snarl raising in her throut. Leave my Bond be, strangers. Senka has done nothing to harm you. Sybrant broadcasted, though in the calmest tone she could muster. All she wanted to do was to leave this chaos.
Senka looked up, blinking at the voice of Sybrant. She looked around the man who had helped her against the verbal attacker, to find Sybrant glowering dangerously at this man--and Wyrm, as she noticed his sudden appearance...--though her disposition was off. Through her scowering of the city, she had 'aquired' many things... Actually, they had snagged on her as she had passed by the many things.
"Sybrant..."

"Some appreciation we get." Aran mumbled under his breath, turning to Haku who was doing his best to keep from launching at the shadow wyrm. "If it wasn't for me, she'd still be getting yelled at like some mongrel off the street. If I'd let her be, she may have lost control and killed that degrading jerk and thus ruined the names of all lycans around this city. But fine, whatever. Just don't expect us to come to help you, your bond, or your friend outside the city." He walked over to Haku, grabbing onto some of his thick sea-green mane and pulled himself on top of the hybrid. "Good night." He glared, silently asking Haku where the nearest beach was where he could attempt to get away from human complications and get back to being a merman for a few days until he got fed up with that.

How was I supossed to know who attacked my Bonded? Is there hadn't been something blocking my communication with her, then I'd know who'd to throw accusations at and who to personally hurt. Though I could not tell what was said, I could feel the powerfully-surging emotions.. Sybrant's eyes had ceased to glare at the Wyrm and his Bonded, though they looked down at Senka.
"Sybrant, don't accuse him of anything... He stopped the woman from continuing her verbal assult... If anything, I'm grateful to a random stranger..." A small smirk formed it's way onto her lips, though soon dropped. She turned around, looking up at the man from his perch on the long, winding white wyrm. "Thank you for your help, though there's not much I can offer in exchange for your help..." Senka sighed, the thoughts of what the woman had said still rang like a bell in her mind. A bell that wouldn't shut up. "C'mon, Sybrant.. There doesn't need to be another fight on my behalf." With that, the lycan halfling turned and began to walk towards where they had left De'carn up on the hill. Sybrant gave a muted sigh, turning and following her bonded.

Maybe try asking before you accuse. Haku spoke to the wyrmess, flicking his long tail and refusing Aran's request to just dart off. Anger flickered deep within him, bottled up only because Aran was, for once, not being a generally angry person.
"You're welcome." Aran muttered, feeling the effects of his bond's severe disliking of dark wyrms. "Glad I could help." Someone. For once. He sighed and settled onto Haku's back, aware that the male wasn't hardly moving at all, save for breathing. He nudged at the hybrid with his foot, blinking in confusion until he leapt to the sky, flying wingless.
What was that about?
Their friend wanted a brief talk. Haku's answer had an angry tone to it that suggested all said had not been to his liking.
And?
We're staying close. Two shadow wyrms this near a city bodes an ill omen.
They could be here same as we were.
No, and that was the final say on the matter. Aran sighed, looking back down at the city as the breeze in the sky played in his greasy-looking black hair.
De'carn broke off his talk with the hybrid, growling with slight frustration at the way his shields darted back uparound his and his bond's minds, refusing him entrance where he wanted. He calmly walked back to where Sybrant and Senka had entered the city, eyes closing for a moment to remind him to behave well.
Lady Sybrant? Lady Senka? He called out quietly, waiting for their reappearance.

Giving a muted sigh, Senka lifted the hood back over her head. What had /THAT/ been about? She lowered her gaze to the ground, clearing out her mind of the trivial things that had been said. Then, she had felt it. A pulse... right under her? She looked down, finding nothing but a leather pouch. Well, no one would miss it... She scooped down and gently picked the item up. Senka stuffed it into a pocket in a rush before picking up her pace to catch up with Sybrant.
Sybrant lifted her head, hearing De'carn's voice as they neared where they had entered. Yes, De'carn? Her voice had lost it's angry edge by now, after being soothed by he placid thought of Senka safe within her range of vision. Sometimes, that girl was so much trouble... She was aware Senka had stopped to look at something, but hadn't paid much attention to whatever it may've been.
I want to get away from here. Cities aren't for me. She had muttered the last part as the two exited the city, and the black shadow Wyrm entered their sights.

There seemed to be something happening in the city. Are you both okay? De'carn asked as the two began to get closer. He stretched a wing lazily to wave, aware suddenly of a jab coming from the one that had blocked him before. He gave a small shift, blocking the mental jab weakly. Damn that wyrm, he was smart. He walked towards them, hiding well that he was essentially a useless peice of wing, tooth, claw, and scale. Nor I, Lady Sybrant. He said, giving a small shudder. Too many tight places, there were.
Did you find what you were looking for? He asked, hoping so. Unless it was with a travelling merchant, he figured they would have to go back in the city at some point, and well... You don't forget a half-lycan that easily.

When I revieled myself, the panic started. Stupid easily-spooked humans... Sybrant sighed, stopping and looking over her shoulder at the city. I did not get--
"I have it." Senka spoke up, gaining Sybrant's attention. "I found it on the way out... can we leave now?" The question leaked out her hurt, brought on by the hurtful words. All she wanted to do was leave this place...
...If she has it, we can leave. Sybrant replied as she turned to face De'carn, a little too much relief in her voice that they did not have to return into the city. Shall we?

Sadly, the humans around here do not welcome wyrms, much less those of our element. Forgive me for not aiding you. De'carn said, hiding his eagerness to what Senka had found. Please. Just... where to? He asked, wings folding against his back. He gave a casual look up at the sky, aware of a white line against the night sky. So. What king of long wyrm with legs can fly? Hybrid.
Another jab, another blocked. He couldn't handle too many more of those, darnit. Preoccupied, he seemed to space out, glaring at the sky.

Most humans do not like one's of our kind... There was a hidden, dark tone in her voice, as a memory flashed before her eyes. Two larger Wyrms, and multi-colored smaller ones.. Sybrant shook her head, clearing the memory. Someday, someday...
Senka only nodded, moving away from the city at a quicker-then-normal walking pace. She had had enough of the city. "We'd better get moving... We should distance ourselves as far away from the city as possible."
The Shadow Wyrmess sighed, starting to follow her Bonded. She paused, looking over her shoulder at their traveling companion. Are you coming, De'carn? Sybrant questioned softly, also wanting to leave the area.

Coming, miladies. De'carn replied, following after them quickly. Forgive me. There was something... odd about a moment ago. Forgive me, again. He bowed his head politely, some deep part of him growling at the hybrid in the air. He slightly envied the creature's flight, but alas, he was forever grounded, he supposed.
Where are we headed? Somepleace specific or just away? However, De'carn's mind was occupied with something else. The city's guard should be chasing them. In such a large place full of human life, there should have been at the least a dozen foolhardy men trying to kill the wyrms they had seen. So where were they? He head turned to look behind him, a toubled look passing over his face as his every step began to insert his claws into the ground to keep him from showing his sudden nervousness. Part of his mind drifted, seeking to touch anyone, even a foolish knight with delusions of graduer, behind them trying to become a hero. Nothing.
Miladies, there is something wrong. There should be some humans chasing us. Guards, knights, you name it. However, there isn't. There isn't even one person chasing us. So why? You caused too much of an uproar to be ignored, so it begs the question: Where are they? Or worse yet: What is out here that makes them feel like ignoring their greed and pride which, with all due respect milady Senka, should be making their minds overflow so much that common sense should have abandoned them?
He had stopped moving, mind flickering to a possibility he had not wanted to even consider, but if it meant his life, then he must. Alirae. What if she had broken free from that binding? What if she roamed free and fearsome yet again? Then they were doomed. If Alirae had her full power, De'carn's sense of self preservation told him to get the frick away as fast as humanly possible. Sever his ties here, miss some entertainment, and get out. But no... She wouldn't be silent. She'd want to watch him, observe his changes. Dancing with demons was not his favorite pasttime now and he hoped ever.

Both the halfling and the Shadow Wyrmess turned to face De'carn, stopping momentarily. They looked at each other; but Senka looked away, towards the woods on the hill after muttering a 'it's alright...' towards De'carn. Sybrant turned to face De'carn again, silver eyes reflecting the moon.
We were just aiming to get away. Though, I see your right. At least SOMEONE should've come after us... Though what would make them just stay in that over-crowded, suffocating city? Could there be something out here that is scaring them...? Most of Sybrant's talking was her thinking out loud, though she couldn't understand why SOMEONE hadn't come after them?
Senka sighed softly, a passing breeze pulling at her hood. She reached up, pulling the hood off of her head. The breeze passed through her grey-streaked dark hair. A small flickering smile made its way onto her face as the breeze teasingly brushed her cheeks. She was only half-aware of De'carn's and Sybrant's conversation, the breeze being more comforting then their talking at the moment.

I pray not. De'carn said, senses daring to venture out. The radius was drastically reduced due to his lack of power, causing him to mentally curse. He withdrew after only sensing the two above, frowning unhappily. The dark wyrm turned his head to the sky, trying to get a sense of why no one had pursued, though there were no clues.
What were they to do? The male walked past Sybrant and Senka, eyes narrowing in the night. However, there was nothing there. Noone there. He growled low, wings shifting unhappily. He remained silent, listening, watching, waiting.

Senka's oblivious state was shattered as De'carn passed her by, watching De'carn for the moment. There was something they were missing that they were overlooking.. Something else had to be the partial cause. Wether it be in the city, or nearby, she wanted to know what it was. Her eyes shot around as she took a few brave steps away from the two Shadow Wyrms. The Halfling's Golden eyes casted up by the forest, sweeping back across the field, even up at the sky. She could've sworn she saw something white, though dismissed it. What was going on here...
Farther away from the troubled group, a smaller string of misfits had been following them. Versel's eyes glimmered hatefully under the brim of his old-style western hat. His eyes were a deep, penetrating blood red, with glimmers of silver mixed in. His face was sharp, dark olive-toned skin, and surprisingly delicate facial features despite the hatred that seemed to resonate from his eyes. His ears were more pointed then most folk's, his silvery black hair that reached down to the bottom of his neck in smooth locks tucked behind them.
Versel was dressed as he saw fit: dark clothing that included a dark cloak, slightly looser then should be pants, and a stretched thin navy tank lay over his thin but muscular torso. He had left behind the tribality of his elf heritage when he left his people. Well, normal elves weren't really his people... Only had been his caretakers... Shaking away the thought, he roughingly turned towards the rest of the group.

Following behind Versel was his partner in crime, who was watching the small group ahead with bright eyes. Everything was spelled out for him, from the two intimidating wyrms to their prey. Or... his, anyways. Riten's mouth pulled back into a smirk, revealing a set of sharp teeth. Slitted green eyes watched those ahead of him, his orange with black stripes hair falling messily into his eyes. He didn't like being limited by... human means, especially when they wouldn't be needing it for a while yet. Long fingernails tapped on his leg while the other remained unmoving, holding a leash to that animal behind them.
"Well, Versel?" His voice was a low purr, his striped tail twitching behind him. Riten was ready to hunt.
Behind Riten and Versel, another young man knelt. His blood red eyes were turned towards the moon, pale face begging to be let go. However, there was no answer from the gods. There never was. He sighed, the warm air hitting back at him from the 'muzzle' that had been placed on him, the thick cloth rubbing against his lips every now and again as the unbreakable rope scarred the side of his face. Brytan pushed some of his silver hair behind his ear before a sharp tug from Riten forced both hands in front of him. That leash... always reminding him what an animal he was. The grass around him started to lean in, eager to comfort the one who was unhappy. He pushed them away, causing some blades to wither under the anger he placed behind it. Frowining behind his muzzle, he coaxed them back into a brighter mood. He hadn't meant to hurt their feelings. He just... Well...
Hungry.
