Tazzy and Max began the long trek back to camp. Their hearts were heavy. Neither spoke or had a clear thought. Both were beyond pain and grief. Their home, their lives were gone. They must accept this and move on. Together they would help Mykal and Elemayne accomplish whatever must be done to make this world right again. They could not help their people, but they could help others.
Just before they arrived at camp Tazzy had a thought "Max this was a test. That is what Lady Elemayne said. We destroyed those who destroyed our home, buried what was left of our dead and burned the village so that those we could not find would go on to the Great Village. We did this for our people and that was the right thing to do. It was the final thing we could do for our people. I am now hoping that our test is finished. I have such pain in my bones, in my soul." Tazzy looked to the sky. "It is late. Let's rest here for a while." Tazzy sat down and fell asleep while Max stood watch over her.

aria_amina Lily frowned and said "I usually choose not to share my name to those I do not see. While i know where you are, it is very hard to see you. I will tell you my name if you come down here." She glanced around in discomfort, she wasn't much of a fan of magic, and it was obviously at work here. She remembered what the woman at the camp had said and frowned more, wondering if it had been a spell. She kept herhands on the hilts of her hidden knives and waited to see if the unknown would come out. Zola thought to herself that the flamed haired one is going to be very hard to test,but she needed to know if Lily were friend or foe! (She decided to come down from her perch in the trees...) Zola started to crawl down the tree trunk, careful to stay out of the maiden's view.It was easy for Zola not to be seen because she was only as tall as a Peacock.She moved very quietly and stood very still in front of Lily,but not too close; she did not want to feel the sting of her blade. (even though the knives were hidden,the sprite knew they were there) Lily seemed to be very brave,but yet Zola sensed a definite fear about her. "Well,my child,you seem to have me at a disadvantage."Zola whispered,"I have done as you've asked,and now would you be so kind as to honor me with your name?" She said.Zola waited to see what Lily would do once she had realized the woodland sprite was standing right in front of her. Although Zola referred to Lily as a 'child', she appeared to be younger than her; she was in fact as wise and as old as the trees themselves.This would be part of the deception and possibly Lily's demise, if she's not careful.

Lily heard noise and tried to track it, hearing someone moving around rather close to her. Then, suddenly, there was a rather small woman in front of her. She recognised the race and managed to keep herself from showing her surprise. After the small woman spoke, Lily smiled slightly and bowed, saying "My name is Lily. And I'm not sure I see what disadvantage there is, I know some about your race and I doubt there is much even one trained such as I am could do much to harm you. Sprites are well known for escaping tricky situations." She glanced at the sprite again, then gracefully lowered herself to the ground. Then she asked "My lady, what is it that you wish to speak to me about? Rarely do your people grace mine with their presence." She watched the little woman carefully, keeping her hands within easy reach of her blades out of habit.

Zanzara fell onto her knees then she wrapped her arms around her sister and whispered to her” Sister you die because I failed you I’m, sorry my sister but nothing will get in my way again. I will kill those people who did this to you. I will stop at nothing to kill those that have that mark of the rose on there throat.”

"So you are called Lily.What a lovely name."She waited to see if the kindness of her words would help Lily to feel at ease. Zola than said to the flamed haired one,"You are wondering why I wanted to speak to you? But my child, it is 'you' who first spoke to me".The sprite then said,"It is very rare that one as old as yourself can still see me,however being that these woods are not of your world... ". Zola's eyes narrowed and then she said,"I simply asked for whom I was to reveal myself to,thank you for telling me your name". Little did Lily know that she had given the sprite too much power over her self.So much can be learned from a name. (Zola stared into the flamed haired ones eyes) "Did you know Lily means blossoming flower?" said the sprite," It is a fairy name." Now the woodland sprite had decided when she first saw Lily enter the deep forest alone to 'test' her. Was she really as innocent as she had appeared? Zola did not understand why yet,but there was something very 'special' about this young maiden. Lily was going to need the sprite's protection...

Lily discarded the compliment, waiting for the real reason this woman was following her. She listened carefully to the sprite, having heard many times that they were tricky to deal with. She frowned when the woman didn't give a name and said "I did not know that about my name my lady. Do you have a name? Or shall I just call you my lady?" She smiled again, going for a rather unintelligent sound. "And I spoke simply because I wondered who was watching me my lady. But I have often been called young at heart, perhaps that's why I see you," she added cheerfully, watching the woman. She felt this woman knew more then she was telling and watched her carefully, trying to look innocently stupid.

(Zola knew that Lily was not as naive as she appeared, the woodland sprite decided to give the flamed haired one her name.)
"I am Zola,my name means Earth" she said,"I decided to follow you because your energy called me".Then the sprite thought to herself:'Why does this young maiden not see that something is 'different'?,the forest is very powerful,it changes.
"I saw you with the others before you went deeper into the woods; there are many eyes watching you." Zola said,"I can feel the changes in the earth, and in the trees themselves;some good and some evil". Then she said,"I've decided to help you because you seemed to be the most valnerable,but first I must be sure that you are good".
(If Lily truly knew of the sprites,then she also knew what they would do to any evil presence in their midst.)
Suddenly it became so dark that a mere mortal couldn't see their own hand in front of their eyes.The forest seemed to have closed above them, and completely blocked out the sun.Zola then said,"I am sorry Lily,but I must be sure of what YOU really are; one can never be too careful".
At that moment Lily's blades disappeared and so did Zola.
(and now the test begins.....)

Lily memorized the sprite's name, knowing it was rare that they actually gave out names. When zola told her of the eyes watching her she frowned and looked around furtively, wondering if the sprite was seeing something she wasn't. She chuckled to herself about the vulnerable comment, it seemed she was well within character. Suddenly it grew dark and her blades dissappeared. She jumped as she heard zola say that she needed to find out what she really was. Lily quickly felt her way over to something hard and put her back agaist it, noting it seemed to be a boulder. She closed her eyes and listened carefully, calming herself down and trying to make sure she hears anything moving anywhere near her. Then she said "Zola, what's going on? What happened?!" She carefully stayed in character, making sure she sounded panicked and then stood silently, listening.

He turns to the Lady Elemayne and bows deeply with reverence " Thank you, my lady" "You are welcome, child" replied Elemayne. "What is your name and why do you think you are here?" she questioned.

As he stood and brushed himself off, Mykal realized that he was now wearing a waistcoat in a scale mail design. The metal was almost iridescent in its coloring, being somewhat darker than the steel he was used too. It seemed to be lightweight for all of the metal he now seemed to be carrying. He slung the quiver over a shoulder, picked up the bow, and started walking. If he was right, it wouldn't matter which direction he walked, he would walk back in to the camp in just a short amount of time.

MY LADY*BOWS AGAIN* I AM CALLED ELF STAR AND IWAS SENT HERE TO STUDY BUT AFTER I WAS ATTACKED I DREAMED OR THOUGHT I DREAMED THAT IWAS TOLD TO COME AND SEEK HELP FROM PRICNE MYKl i am sorry for shouting but when i saw the sword in his hand and then when he took some of his clothes of i feared for my safety

When Tazzy and Max woke up they were back in camp. This did not suprise either of them. Tazzy went up to Lady Elemayne "My test is complete. It was not pleasant. I am here. I have some game and I will cook it. I am sure that the other will be returning soon. Max needs more rest."
Tazzy started the fire. She then skinned the game and put it to roast. She starred into the fire, tears rolled down her checked. "I will seek revenge once this is done." She thought to herself. She started to make a sauce using berrys and herbs. Spooning it onto the game, she was lost in her own thoughts.

Zola stood in the dark shadows to see what Lily would do next.The sprite watched as the flamed haired one calmly found a boulder and put her back against it, she was not as ignorant as she was trying to appear; but why? Then Zola said,"For one who is merely a nursemaid,you certainly don't appear to be afraid.Yes, I was there when you were with the others, I heard what you said. Why does one who cares for the innocent need to hide with cloaks and daggers?"

Zanaras sister stood up and they were transported into the forest. She sister turned to her and said" Don't let revenge drive you, for if you do dear sister you will be lost. Just do me one thing when it is time return to are people. They have need of you. I also warn you others are looking for you and they will take you by forth's." Then she sister was gone and she was standing alone in the forested. She walked back to the camp site and sat down.

Mykal was proud of himself as he walked back into the perimeter of the camp. He noticed that several of the others had already made it back. They all looked rather stressed by their ordeal. He went straight to Elemayne and kissed her on the cheek. "A most interesting experience, indeed, my dear" was all he could say to respond to her inquiries. He showed her the bow and for the first time, he nocked and arrow and let it fly at a nearby tree. He was startled when the arrow curved and disappeared into the forest.
