He launched them skyward and to his cave. He landed, undoing safeguards and shifting rocks in order for them to pass, weaving them tighter and stronger when he put them back up. No one shall get to us, my Serenata. In the largest chamber he waved a hoof, candles lighting themselves and giving the minerals in the walls a light to reflect, which they did greatly. "We are here."

Serenata blinked and opened her eyes slowly, overtaken by the brilliance and beautiful of the place. "Where are we?" she asked softly to look around.
