Adenine certainly did stop moving when she was told to, the feathers connected to the metal joints moving slightly as she tried to see how much leeway she had. To her knowledge, none of the lines had been scratched in her maintenance matrix, nothing for her health affected by the fall, but she would not be surprised if some of the defensive and aggressive circles on the outer feathers were abraded and therefore not functioning properly. Just another something to check up on later, but right now she was more worried for Edward. He really did not look well, and while she was tired and stuck, he was in a life threatening situation, her weak body trying to make her fall asleep right then and there. But she smiled back to him as he called her silly, nodding as they should get to the current situation at hand, which was getting her unstuck. She really felt bad for getting them into such a terrible situation, but with one arm, her left arm with the large leather glove that went up to her shoulder, trapped underneath her; it made things more difficult. She shook her head as he dropped under, apologizing again.
"Sorry for getting stuck here. I did not plan on falling so when I use the air to stop the fall I suppose I miscalculated..."

She thought about how she was angled, Edward somewhere below her, and hearing noises coming closer and closer from above. This was a bad position to be stuck in, but if she could just use a step two partial circle, she could get herself untangled from the metal ceiling of the elevator. Edward should also not be standing she noted, as he was missing a leg and that made life so much more difficult. About to speak up that she might be able to free herself, Edward apparently had found the same solution. Giving a quick sound of agreement, as he could not see her nod, she got her hands ready, since drawing the circle for sudden depressurization was a pain and she should have enough time to get both of her hands together.
"I think I can. I was going to try and use a step two circle, but it might be easier this way. Just promise me you can get your hands to your ears in time; I need you in return to cover your ears tightly. I can prevent you from getting further injured and from me hitting the floor this way."
Her voice was rather bright now, alchemy nearly always cheering her up, and the fact that as soon as she was unstuck they could leave. Her voice also hinted her fatigue, her breathing pattern unstable with the fever.

After Al had been pulled down from the wall by the man, he quickly got up and followed him by climbing over the wall since he was too big to fit through the hole the man had made. "I have got to stall him some more." Al thought to himself. Al knew what he was about to do wouldn't hurt the man much, but that it would definitely get his attention. Then he punched the man in the back of the head as hard as he could.

Kain Fuery ran outside with his notebooks and paperwork trying to find Roy Mustang. "Oh man! I hope I can find him! I have all his paper work to deliver to him!" running around and still looking, Kain gave up and sat down in sadness. He looked up at the sky and thought, ' Hey, I wonder where those two boys are that Roy Mustang told me about? Guess I'll never find out until I find General Mustang at once!' Then getting up, Kain run nervously to once again find Roy Mustang or other state Alchemist.

Ed felt it funny as he listened to Adenine tell him he would have to cover his Ears."Adenine...I dont think I can cover my ears...one of them maybe but not with my broken one."Ed replied still puzzled as to why she had asked him that."Hmm a two step transmutation circle....why didnt I think of that before..I can activate one circle to bring the floor up keeping adnine from falling all this wayand then activate the other circle allowing Adenine to get free!" Ed had thought of the idea.Looking back up towards the roof He yelled."Adenine...I've changed my mind I've got an idea so just bare with me...you'll be freed up in no time." and with that said, Edward began drawing up two transmutaion circles...since he didnt have a pen and didnt want to futher damage his arm, the only thing he could use was his own blood.which wasnt much but it was enough to make the two circles.he finished up the final touches to the second circle and then put his hand over the first one.The transmutation circle glowed a bright red as it began to alchemise the floor lifting it till it was just about to touch the roof in a sort of cradleing way.then Ed put his hand on the Second circle.This one glowed a bright Blue as it began dissolving the roof,setting Adenine Free.He then reversed the proccess if the first circle,Lowering it down so the now freed Adenine was laying on the floor.Ed smiled knowing that he had successfully done it but quickly felt Lightheaded and passed out on the floor.

Mustang had just gotten his keys from his office.walking down the hallway,he could only think of what had made the girl so Interested in helping Edward out in the first place not to mention doing it all by herself.He continued down the hallway till he got outside.Roy face turned pale as he saw that his car was missing from his parking space.thoughts of what might have happened began to flood into the Generals mind.just then he turnt around just in time to see Fuery run straite into Him at such speed that both of them go flying manga style in different directions."Whats the meaning of this Fuery?! Did someone steal your glasses again?"Mustang bellowed at Fuery,clearly knowing that he had his glasses...well he did till he was knocked down.

Kain stopped and was huffing as though he was going to die. "Kain Fury reporting for duty sir Mustang! I have some paper work for you sir." Fury handed over the paper work to Roy Mustang and looked at the car and keys Roy had. "Um...sir? Are you going somewhere?" Kain asked pointing to the car and keys. He was always nervous whenever Mustang got upset about something. "Sir Mustang? Is something wrong?" Once again Kain Fury asked Roy.

Adenine had known he might not be able to cover one of his ears, but even without a hand it could be done. However, at the momentary silence she had started to pull the tiny, pen shaped metal rod from her pocket, getting ideas of her own. She could probably try freeing herself, it was just getting back up would be a problem. Coughing again, a pain right inside of her lungs, she heard his yelling; wishing they both could be a bit quieter; although it was doubtless the man chasing them knew just where they were. But she made another soft sound of agreement, her vision starting to cloud again. Neither she nor Edward was going to last any longer, both hurt and both needing rest. In Adenine's case, something probably had been scratched up on her wings and it would take a few minutes for the alchemy to find an alternate way to travel and reconnect. She also was sick and very tired from having pushed herself the entire day; the chances of her lasting more then a few more minutes when she had already blacked out once were very small. Edward was in the same situation. He was bleeding and he had probably broken bones; he also was short a leg and a hand, and equally out on power as Adenine was.

That put both of them in a bad situation, and after this attempt to get them free, they both would be at their limit. Feeling steel and stone move below her to towards her, and having heard some rather disturbing sounds from Edward, she felt the metal trapping her nearly dissolve, dropping a few inches to a safer kind of capture device. Coming down to Edward's point slowly as the alchemy reversed itself, she said goodbye to the fading light, there much less of it in the very bottom of the elevator, and yet she stuck out like a sore thumb in the darkness with her white hair, skin, and clothes. Finally feeling the floor beneath her she tried to get up, still hurting, but she shifted to look behind her, only to see Edward on the floor. Nearly panicking, she shuffled over to him on her knees, trying to figure out what to do. He had apparently coughed up a lot of blood, checking him over for further damage. He had a tear in his side, probably from previous damage that had been pushed to its limit as well, taking one of the very long, coiled ribbons from around her leg and tying it to Edward to stop the bleeding some. The internal bleeding worried her more though, there not being a lot she could do about that.

Angling Edward so he was sitting up and yet leaning over at the same time; and then sticking her fingers in some of the warm blood, she tried to make a choice, a last resort. No wonder he had fainted, she herself sickened terribly by the blood, but she knew what she was doing. In some of the books she had read, it was said that if there is internal bleeding, a person can drown in their own blood, and she was hearing a disgusting gurgling sound now in every breath her friend took. Drawing a circle on Edward's neck with his own blood, she was very, very careful about how she did this, needing to purge Edward's lungs of blood. It meant she had to use very little power in just the right way to expel what should not be there. Hoping for everything was worth and could do, she put her hand down on that circle she had drawn, a dark blue light springing to life as she used the air to force the blood out of Edward's lungs. Upon the floor splashed more blood and she was crying again for Edward, but his breathing did not gurgle like boiling water and he was certainly still breathing. She sighed in relief, as that could have gone terribly wrong, her turquoise eyes not seeing so clearly anymore. Looking up to the light that was just getting farther away, she tried to figure out what to do.

It was obvious that the elevator doors would never open, and she did not have the power to transmute them down, and going back up to the hole above the hatch with Edward was not really possible either. She leaned back against the wall by Edward, shifting him again so hopefully no more blood would constrict his breathing. Giving a last hopeful look to the light above the hatch, and worrying about the light much, much higher up where an attack would come from, she saw one last possibility. Moving the sharp metal pen in her hand, she started scratching the metal in a large circle at her side, wanting a very specific illusion to be cast into the air. With lines and the usual geometric shapes, she put her hands down on the circle, her pen back in her hidden pocket, another pocket holding Edward's stray hand. With another flash of blue light igniting in the air, suddenly the air inside the elevator was moving more then it should, having activated a continuous transmutation that would command the air. From above now they could not be seen, it would look like the ceiling of the elevator was whole and they were hidden, bending the light with the particles in the air. Falling down onto the large circle so she could keep powering it, less then a foot away from Edward, she lapsed back into sleep, so tired and only able to hope this would buy them both time.

Hughes rubbed the back of his head and stood in place as he looked around for some one he could recognize. "Hmmmm, where did everybody run off to." He started to walk in an uncharted direction. All he could do was wander around and wisper out Al, Adenine, and Ed's names.

There was a loud raddle and Hughes jumped, slamming his back lightly against a wall and huddling down to the floor where he pulled out the picture of his doughter. "Noooo you cannot have her! If you want her then you have to go through me!" Hughes shouted as he held his picture close to him.

Matt wandered through the basement halls, looking around as he snuck out of sight. The sounds of gunshots and explosions could be heard from over head, the halls themselves shaking from the battle going on above.

"You know, my people will become suspicious of you wandering around." Said the Master, "I'm Jerico Heellion." He stuck out his hand to Matt who stood and stared at him quizzically.

Matt nodded, " I know but I don't want them slaughtering your people because I'm around." He wispered softly and refrained from taking the Master's hand.

"So you were planning on leaveing?" Asked Jerico. "This is already a slaughter. Your presence makes no difference." He added.

Again Matt nodded, "I had to see what was going on. There has to be a way to stop them by one way or another." His right hand tightened, catching the master's gaze.

Jerico stood there for a moment, studieing the boy and then spoke, "I see. Automail. I can only imagin what happens to each person who gets opperated on, everyone has a different story."

"This was given to me by a rare mistake that I am now paying for." Matt's green eyes looked down at his own right hand and glared at the thought of barbians above him, killing innocent people.

Scar kept his appearence cloaked from outside world. His mind was haunted by images of his past, and the present. Kasumi was his main concern and Matt was his second. The Homonculi were decieiving and tricky, he knew this, so the question is what would Kasumi want with the State. He couldn't take her answer for granted, he still knew there was something she wasn't telling him.

Kain Fury took hold of his glasses and sighed, then he slowly walked into the office to find more paper work for Roy. "Most of his papers are organized...and since Mustang has his car out for some reason, I bet he is going to find those two boys." Kain gathered up Roy's paper work and looked back to find his shotgun. "Now where did I put that thing? Oh here it is! Just in case if anything happenes then I'm ready to fight with the famous Roy Mustang!" Then Fury happily hurried back to Roy but tripped as usual, then he got up again and ran towards Mustang.

Ty started out
Ty had been watching the wall from above, seeing Alphonse on the other side confront the man, although with how he had been taking down the barrier, it was doubtful anything could stop the man. Adenine's first scream however had alerted her to a problem, her bird's head jerking around to look down and hear another cry, jumping down into the air and flying into the shaft, moving into a dive-bombing position to gain speed and flapping tawny-grey feathers to slow her fall when near the bottom. Landing in warm blood and with nearly comical, tank-like feet rushing over to Adenine, she started pushing instructions at the girl, trying to see how Adenine was stuck. After a few moments, she justified she had pushed her little sister too far and there was no way she could get her out by herself. Stopping for a moment and looking at a shattered Edward, she figured that he was one information problem out of her way, this the messy way of dealing with it, but if he lived long enough for Adenine to get help too, then it was just another inconvenience. Flapping out the gapping door that was a foot above Adenine and Edward, she flew out into the first floor of the warehouse, knowing that she had to find the Lieutenant Colonel Hughes to make the situation better, already heading to where she thought she had heard people, feet and feathers covered in blood.

Ty found Hughes
Ty on the other hand was frantic, flying rather silently but any movement in the darkness was sure to be detected, flying past the man that could not be human with such strength and the apparently younger brother Alphonse, who appeared to be in the same situation as she was, a lost soul in a false body and trying to beat the clock to get Adenine and Edward help. She soared on though, going down closer among tanks, crates, and old machinery, trying to find the man who she really hated to bring into this. He was already on the lower level, not occupied with a steel-tearing monster, and he could probably get Adenine unstuck from her metal prison and bindings without damaging her. If Alphonse was nearby, then so was the Lieutenant Colonel Hughes, her target in this case. Finding the man running, not as fast as the armored Alphonse was apparently, she shot at him out of the darkness, one sharp cry at him the moment she was close, before any retaliation could come to the large bird of prey. Grabbing a hold of his uniform with skin-shredding talons, not getting any skin but certainly ripping the uniform a bit, she pulled at him for a moment and then had already let go, lower feathers and feet covered in the blood from the elevator, and leading back to where her little sister was.

((*she smiled* Ty found Hughes on the last page...I was waiting for you to respond to a big bird ripping at your uniform Mr. M.....*soft wave*))
PostPosted: Thu Jul 07, 2005 2:25 pm

Hughes continued to panic, holding the picture of his beloved doughter closer. "If you want anyone, take me! Leave her alone!" He cried out, still hearing the flicking noises from very close by. It sounded like a bat flapping it's wings. He was becomeing scared and fightened of what might happen to him when suddenly he saw something flap beside him.

"Oh god, even worse, it's a bat trying to suck my blood!" The Colonel shouted and then turned his head to see little Ty picking at his outfit. His face went blank and his skin turned dark. A drop of sweat strolled down his forhead. "Hi there." Hughes wispered seeing the cute bird that belonged to Adenine.

Ty watched the man sit down on the ground, and if she had still been a woman she would have slapped him across the face and glared at him. Even with her bird's golden eyes however that shone with intelligence, she still could manage a glare at him. What he had yelled and acted like before she came was ridiculous, but now it was nearly worse. How could he be calm and sitting on the floor when it was dead obvious she was trying to get him up and coming? She was a large gray bird after all with black, rending talons and yellowish feet covered in blood, her lower tail feathers having dragged in it too. Landing on Lieutenant Colonel Hughes and perching on his arm, her weight actually quite heavy and her grip sharp, talons digging through the simple cloth, she still glared at him. Just standing like she was she probably was as tall as his head to the top of his stomach, or from his head to the bottom of his lungs. She was no small bird, and right now the way her feathers were held tightly to her body, she was obviously not happy either. Coming up a little closer to his shoulder, climbing with alternating feet, she suddenly slapped out a wing on his face that was as good as a hit from anyone else, the wing now pointing down the hall where she had come from. He better hurry up or she would start biting.
PostPosted: Thu Jul 07, 2005 4:20 pm

Hughes stood up brushing his other shoulder off. He started to walk in the direction that Ty was guiding him in, every now and then he would push the ridge of his glasses further up his nose. His eyes studied his surroundings as he kept moving.

"Want to see something real cute?" Hughes asked wispering to Ty. Suddenly he flung out a picture of Elacia, holding the picture right infront of the bird's eyes. "At first I thought you were after her so like the good father I am, I had to protect her no matter what. Isn't she the cutest. I bet you nor Adenine have ever seen a better doughter than her." He exclaimed, smileing an acting like his normal happier self.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A loud bang could be heard from over head and then sounds of yelling in the back. Gun fire ecoed through the tunnels, Matt's eyes widdened as he darted back towards the large room where every one was stationed. Soldiers litered the room, shooting at anybody who attempted to run away from sight or attack. Woman and children screamed from the loud noises and the cries of their loved ones calling out in pain as they slipped from this life into the next. Matt stood in shock watching these soldiers murder innocent people, meanwhile the rebels attemped to keep Matt and their former master out of sight.
"You must get him out of here please!" The girl, who had guided Matt to this very place, cried softly.
Matt's teeth grinded silently, his eyes stareing at the closest soldier. Jerico rested his large hand on his shoulder and began to pull away as the girl pressed a button on the wall just beside the tunnel. A door closed, Matt and Jerico were now seperated from the rest by a five inch wall.
"I can get through." Matt was about to fling his hands directly at the barrier but Jerico grabbed onto his elbow and pulled back. "What are you doing old man, they were be killed." He cried out, more sounds of gun shots came from the other side.
Jerico stared down, a tear began to fall from one eye. "They're already gone." He spoke softly as the shots had ended and soon there was nothing but silence.
The two began to walk away. Matt's hands curled tightly into a fist and his mind rang violently with images of what may have happened to the rebels inside that room. Matt felt his heart ache in pain as he remembered the girl who had helped him, horrific images of what they could of done to her. His body was now filled with pain and he vowed that he would not let the soldiers get away unpunished.
Finally they were going, her weight easily adjusting to when he got up and brushed his uniform off. With the damage she had done to the front and the blue fabric on his arm, it would probably need to be replaced. This man was intelligent, and she hated revealing she was intelligent around him, but she kept him moving, her bird's eyes not seeing so well in the dark, but she knew the way. Then his whisper came to her feather covered ears, her golden eyes coming to stare harshly at him. It was amazing to even her that she could show so much expression in a bird's body, but it was possible. This was incredibly idiotic, her grip tightening on the man's shoulder now as he thrust a picture in her face, her head twisting slightly because she could only see with one eye at a time, being a bird and all. She thought her little sister was better, but lacked the words to actually tell him so. Then again, even in human form she would have been too polite. So, raising a wing that hit so much harder then it should as she hit him with the blunt of her wing bone, once more the Lieutenant Colonel Hughes was hit on his head, Ty pointing again up a set of stairs and back across the main level.
Although, she could sympathize with him, as she had to be a mother and a sister, as well as a best friend for Adenine. She really could be obsessive over her little sister, even if the weak girl in white was not even real. She cared for her quite a bit, hence her rush to get the man to where he could help. But the Lieutenant Colonel should have figured out by now from how she was acting she was more then a bird, like Adenine was a little bit different then most children. But even this compromising and revealing situation was better then if Adenine had found some of the more dangerous books back at their house. The point of this was letting Adenine restore her elder sister without finding out she was not real. Ty considered Adenine to be as real as anyone else, but the girl was not and any information on the fact she was false would be shattering to her. It was a lie that her parents had taken all of the research on the human alchemy projects. There was clear proof back at their house that Adenine was the one most successful project, powdered and liquefied Stone having been put to use to make her. All of this trouble for the sake of preserving Adenine's life and restoring Ty's, and already it was going terribly wrong.
Hughes growled, "Well I have never met anybody who disliked my doughter." He almost seemed uneffect by the swipe of the bird's wing. "Fine then, you're not good enough to see my little angel." With a sigh, he brushed his glasses further up the ridge of his nose to hide the emotional hurt he had suffered. With that, Hughes refrained from saying a single word and followed the bird's directions.
Ty could only glare back at the Lieutenant Colonel's growl, making a soft noise through her closed bill that sounded very similar to a growl, like a clicking noise nearly. She did not dislike his daughter, it was just now was not the time for pleasantries. He had to hurry though otherwise his dear little alchemist and of course her little sister would be in trouble. There were noises in the air, of clanks from up above, but Ty had rather cleverly steered the Lieutenant Colonel around the area where Alphonse and the man who was obviously not human were fighting. She really did not care about his little angel at the moment, maybe she would on a better day, but right now all she cared about was her little angel. Obviously his nervous habit was pushing his glasses up, and it was getting annoying, but he could forgive her for any previous actions once he saw why she was hurrying him. Coming to the first floor elevator door of the service elevator where Adenine and Edward were trapped, they approached the gapping hole, Ty leaving Hughes's shoulder and flying into the elevator. There was still blood on the roof of the car that was crashed on the basement level, but she was now thoroughly distressed.
Where was her sister! That was when she felt the patterns in the air. Her sister was hiding. Landing on the metal roof with a thud, as it was rather slippery, the two marks left by Adenine's wings gone, she tried to figure out what kind of alchemy her little sister had set up. Air alchemy could be a good blockade, but from her judgment Adenine should not have had enough power to keep something like that for long. Therefore her sister's logic would have gone towards maintaining an illusion for a longer period of time. No blood had left the elevator so that meant her little sister had not left either, since Edward was no longer there. She looked up to Hughes, glaring at him to hurry up and help her, the blood on the floor plenty of indication why she had rushed him and had been so rude. He was an intelligent man, he could figure it out. Looking down to the floor, she paced about, walking around an area that did not quite look the color of the rest of the roof, and where there was no blood. Adenine had been a little sloppy this time, but that was to be expected with how sick she was. They were right on top of Edward and Adenine, but she heard no noise.
