Hughes peeked over and looked down. "Wow, I'd hate to be in that thing when it collapsed." He slowly got down to the roof of the car when he nearly slipped from a puddle of blood that he just happened to step on. Quickly he threw his right hand out to the cable that went straight up into the darkness of the long vericle shaft. He pulled himself up and then steadied himself, looking down to study the blood and then quickly, with a flick of his wrist, pulled out a military kuni.

His eyes looked to Ty who walked around in a small circle. When he gazed over he noticed four bolts, one for each corner of a small panel that the bird happened to be walking on. Slowly he moved over and used the tip of his blade like a screw driver, there he pushed the bird aside and put the blade right into the bolts, starting to unscrew them one by one.

Finaly Hughes managed to pop the hatch and lifted it up, tossing it to the side once it was off the elevator car. Holding his kuni closely to him and much like one would hold a gun, he peeked inside the car.

Ty could only agree with Hughes as she continued to pace around, as anyone who had been in the crashing elevator would have died. The air patterns made her think that it was only and illusion on part of the roof to make a person think it was solid, bending the light to project an illusion of similarity to what was around the affected, yet she had stepped on it and it had seemed fairly solid. Adenine must be in real trouble to put up such a barrier, using more energy then she could afford; then again, with such a insane seeming man, she could easily follow her sister's thought patterns. As the Lieutenant Colonel stepped in, she moved slightly, allowing him room to slip as he seemed to not be brimming with field experience. At the blade coming from his sleeve though, she flapped slightly, alarmed but quickly seeing what he was up to. If she was capable of sighing, she would, as he must not know much about air alchemy. But, she let him do what he was doing, as it was a sure way down to where her sister had to have gone. Snapping at the man and hissing as he actually dared to push her aside, sharp talons scratching along the metal, she watched him work, still looking at the traces of alchemy Adenine had used.

It may be an illusion, but her sister needed to turn it off as quickly as possible, it was draining important amounts of energy. Walking over with her nearly toy-tank-feet walk to beside the older man, she wished he would make less noise. As soon as their enemy had finished with the Alphonse boy in his empty suit of armor, Edward and the accompanying Adenine would become prime targets again. She came a little closer to the edge then; those golden eyes widening as she saw an alarming sight. The air was moving more down in the elevator from the alchemy that was being continuously used, put into a loop to keep it running. Adenine lay on the floor only a few inches from Edward, draped over a large alchemic circle scratched into the metal, a soft dark blue glow coming from the lines. It was no wonder her illusion had seemed to real, with the amount of power she was letting it steal from her. Both children however were quite clearly unconscious though, Adenine's face a little more relaxed then Edward's, her glass feathers sticking out at intervals from her dress and hair. Edward was still bleeding, not so much now, but he had obviously coughed up a lot of blood, white wrapped around his external wounds, but Adenine could do nothing about internal injuries; she was not that skilled.

Hughes peered down and saw the two. "Well now what?" He asked himself softly as he studied the two children nocked out. With a soft grunt his eyes focused on Edward, "Poor little shrimp, this kid has seen better days." Hughes wispered and then looked at Ty.

He wasn't sure what to do at the moment. Everything was so quiet and he was waiting for reinforcements to come in and take over but that wouldn't happen. "Now what?" Hughes asked the bird almost in a helpless tone, not really knowing the extent of Ty's vocabulary nor her intelligence. Slowly he sat down within the elevator, infront of Ed and Adenine, crossing his legs and rested his head into his left hand. His right hand slides into his suit and he slipps the kuni into a small holstar. With a soft sigh Hughes tries to think as fast as he can.

Ty was a little concerned for Edward, with the bleeding and all, but he knew too much information, so therefore if he died she would feel no major loss. It was not heartless; it was simply a calculated risk and a preference if that information no longer was floating around. Ty glared at Hughes again, since it was obvious what he should do. He should get them both out of there and to safety. Adenine was fairly light, thin layers of cloth and a frail body probably weighing nothing at all, the metal on her back the only thing that would make her of normal weight for her size, and then with Edward's small form he should be no trouble either. For all she cared the man could get Adenine and Edward back up to the first level, throw them over his shoulders and leave. But both Adenine and Edward had seen better days, Adenine's breathing shaky and a soft sound coming from her lungs that was quite disturbing to Ty. Noises still came up from above though, traveling down the elevator shaft and getting louder. Soon the man would be back and he would claim the two children who had reached their limits from previous injuries and misfortune. As he asked her though, she decided he really was not intelligent.

She had thought he was from how he acted and seem to take things into consideration, but it should be obvious they needed to leave as soon as possible. The man probably had suspicions about her, but he could deal with them later, they just needed to grab the two children and leave. Landing down on the elevator floor in more blood after Hughes, she glared at him and then hopped up onto Adenine's shoulder. Maybe if she could get the message to him they needed to leave then he would be pushed into action. Taking a firm hold of Adenine's left shoulder, so she would not cause her little sister damage, she looked to both sides of her to see if she had wing room, and finding she only barely had enough room to flap. Hopping up into the air with a storm of flapping, she tried to get Adenine moved; a futile effort of course, but maybe the man who was with her could see the point. She also had to get Adenine off the pulsing circle, as it was draining precious energy and it would just make things harder later. She glanced over to Edward, blood coming from his mouth. He needed to get to a hospital, with how Adenine's breathing sounded she needed rest and medicine, and in general she could not be the only one there who knew what to do!

Before the Colonel Could even Reply to Kain he silently watched as for some odd reason Kain had walked away.Thinking to himself that when Ever he got the chance to...he would teach that Tin can a thing or two about hotwireing a persons Car,especiallyif the owner of that car happens to also know a thing or two about Fire Alchemy.Putting his keys back in his pocket he begins to walk towards an Army van.Mustang then witnesses Kain rushing back comming his direction."Hmmm,wonder where Hes off too in such a rush." The Colonel thought to himself as he started the Van Engines.

Kain Fury ran towards Roy Mustang and stopped to a halt. "Um...Sir Mustang? I've gathered your finished paper work! Are you going to find the brothers, sir?" asked Kain as he saluted to Roy. He had his shotgun strapped to his back just in case if anything was to attack him.

Edward began to stir abit,He coughing Up some blood as he began to awaken.His vision blurred and his breath was shallow due to the blood in his lungs.He tried to figure out who were the Two blurrs fight in front of him but due to his Eyesight, couldnt tell if it was Alphonse,Hughes or the shadowy Guy for that matter...Plus he wasnt in the position to just get up and start running...for all he knew,either he was about to get captured again,or he was going to die of Bloodloss.the warmth of the blood made him sick even though he knew he was covered in it.And he wondered about what had happened to Adenine,Was she OK? Did her Sister manage to get Hughes?"Al....Al.....Is...th..tha...t....you?"Edward forced himself to say in a bloodcurdling Voice hopeing that one of them was Indeed his Brother.His breathing was getting more and more shallower with every breath he took,a Blank expression on his face.

((*sighed* here's Kintani..I hope all of you read her profile...))
http://www.animevisions.net/Pictures/kamikaze/misawo01_kal.jpg

Kintani walked into the military garage of Central Headquarters, having had taken the midnight train when she had gotten the Fuhrer's call for her to come, having slept on the train and now using the garage stairs to get to a filing section of the building upstairs. Walking through the various lines of trucks, she heard a motor start, her golden eyes tracing where the sound came from. Tonight she was in her traveling clothes, not her blue uniform as it attracted too much attention. A person could nearly say she look like some kind of a business woman from her proper posture, the neatness of her top and tie, the trimmed edges of her cuffs and hemlines. Over all she looked rather dignified and intelligent look about her, even with the long gray skirt to match her layered shirt. Of course, she stuck out with the katana sword strapped over a shoulder, carrying it leisurely like a purse, her zori hitting the concrete floor silently. Coming into view of the military van that had just been turned on, she now saw a rather unwelcoming sight that had to mean trouble. The Flame Alchemist was there in the driver's seat, and she had read his profile, meeting him briefly once. Of course the minor officer with a gun preparing to get in the van was a giveaway on trouble.

Walking over with that calm and composed expression she always wore, clever gold eyes watching them both, her long, dark brown hair sailed a bit behind her with her speed of walking. Perhaps it was related to her assignment she had been personally given, if so that would just make her day to finish it up and then be done with the matter. The large crimson ribbon poking out at both sides behind her, she stood still for a moment, waiting for the Colonel Mustang's eyes to suddenly come to hers, her look saying that there was no way out of what he had just got himself into and that she was taking him apart as the seconds passed.
"Well, if it isn't you. Where might you be off to in such a hurry, with backup packing a weapon? Mind if I join you Colonel?"
She had such a calm manner of speaking, and yet it lacked hesitation and formality. Her stance was one that could nearly seem careless or tired, but she was always ready for a fight, probably from her training back home. A person would think she would be proper and formal from her always worn uniforms she seemed to stick to, but she was rather friendly in her own silent, disturbing manner.

Hughes watched Edward carefuly, first studieing the injuries. "You know, for a short guy like you, you sure know how to take a beating." He muttered and attempted to help Edward up by extending his right hand to the blonde haired boy. Now the question was, who brought Edward here and for what reason. So far Hughes had found nothing that would lead him to any conclusion. Whoever tricked the Alchemist was very good at covering their tracks, there wasn't a sign of any evidence besides the ruined condition this wearhouse was in.

After hoisting Edward up, Hughes began to complain softly. Even when bending over to attempt at maching Ed's hight, he felt as if he had to bend down even futher. This was really starting to annoy him, he looked to the bird, "Do you want to carry him?"

Hughes looked at little Adenine who was knocked out but seemed to be sleeping so peacefully. With a soft grumble Hughes looked at Al, "Take your pick, carry Ed or the girl." The Lt. Colonel seemed angry at the fact that Ed managed to get himself and now three others into trouble. He was also mad at Adenine for sticking her nose too far into Ed's business, even if she were smart and couragous, he just didn't want to see her or any others get hurt.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Matt's eyes flared, the green color of each eye seemed to lighten; not of hope but of revenge. The master of the rebels who followed close by, studied Matt and every step he took. The Alchemist walked steadily, following the long escape tunnel while loud crackles and bangs rang from above. Dust and granit from above fell down and onto the hair of the two.
Jerico, unlike Matt, walked in a calm confident pace. Easily keeping up with the Alchemist and showed only the kindest of expretions upon his face. To him, it was as if the war was not even taking place, more like the war was already over. He continued to study Matt, admireing the teen's emotions. Jerico could imagin almost every thriving thought Matt had in his mind, Matt was trying to hide his true feelings to those around him. Of corse, Jerico knew this and this was why he admired the boy.
It took courage for some one like Matt to walk away from the crimes that took place only 4 ft above them. The only thing that seperated Matt and Jerico from the war above was the solid rock that made the cealing of this long tunnel.
It maybe lasted twenty minutes before they reached stairs that went up, but at the top of a hard wood paneled platform. Matt approached the object that blocked them and clapped his hands, then with a soft press of of his palms against the wood, the entire platform exploded into large pieces of debris. Though it was silent, Matt was still worried about where they would wind up when reaching the top. However, luckily for him and Jerico, the two wound up inside of a large old house.
"Hurry. They're be after us in no time." Matt wispered and helped Jerico up. As soon as the rebel leader had stepped out of the tunnel, Matt clapped his hands; that oh so soothing sound of metal and against metal rang. He placed both hands on the ground and created a thick wall of sand which would hopefuly give him and the master some more time to escape.
Matt dashed for the door and looked out, nothing was in sight. He opened the front door and took a peek when suddenly a loud bang erupted from ahead. A large portion of the right side of the large shack exploded. The Alchemist was thrown back form the sheer force of the explosion, but the fire power didn't stop. Three more shots went off, large calliber cannons launched powerful shells at the house.
Ahead of the, now beaten up and destroyed, home was a large wall of what looked like to be neighboring houses. However, they were decoys. The city's army had managed to model large pieces of wood and metal to appear as the front of a house or building. From the side they were just altered tanks. A superior camoflauge technique that proved to be effective.
Matt, who was nearly nocked out from the first blow, looked ahead at the door, completly dazed and felt like his body was nocked a mile. The door swung open and in stepped dozens of soldiers with guns that emediatly pointed at Matt. Matt looked over at Jerico who was nocked out from the blast. All around them was large piles of debris, the roof was caved in in large portions of the house, and old furnature was turned into dust.
As the Soldiers entered they emediatly hoisted Matt up who could only see blurry figures infront of him. It was silent, all he could hear was his own lungs inflating and then deflating. Meanwhile he could see each soldier yelling, giving orders, and what not. Suddenly his eyes focused on one particular person who did not seem to resemble that of a soldier. Instead this person looked more like a rebel, one of the men who followed Jerico. Only this person managed to come into view while everything else was blurred out and fuzzy.
"That's him alright. That's the State Alchemist." Said the man with a grin.
Matt's eyes began to close. He watched as everything dimed and then faded out into black. Total nothingness. The voices of soldiers and everyone else around him also faded into soft wispers and then silence.
Adenine was out like a light, not waking up again this time. She had an incredibly high fever and her breathing was shaky; therefore her sleep not peaceful at all. But, she really lacked anymore energy to respond to anything, from stimuli to her big sister, even to just move in her sick state. The alchemic circle in blood was rather obvious on Edward's neck, Adenine's hope going to Edward, along with energy. She really should have taken care of herself better, but the point was mote now, as she was not waking up again without serious disturbance and even then she probably could only be awake for a little while. The virus that was ravaging her systems needed to be treated as quickly as possible, power still being diverted to the circle that Adenine lay on. Even with the temporary fix on Edward Adenine had done, the circle that had taken some of the blood from his lungs, the white ribbons that had once been on her dress and hair going around his external wounds, little did she know that it would all be forgotten; that she would be forgotten at the bottom of an elevator shaft for the jackal above to find. Of course, given Adenine's point of view, she would want Edward to safety.
Ty on the other hand was not as gracious as her little sister, glancing to Edward as he started speaking, having to stop her flapping, having only moved Adenine a few inches, and definitely not able to just pick her up and fly her away. Adenine was a little smaller then Edward and Ty could do nothing for either child, both of them in terrible condition. She had really no choices, and the only person she could find with the position to help lacked brains. Edward lacked a hand and a leg and she could not tell the man who was now trying to pick up Edward just what had happened or what he had to do. At the question directed at her however, she hissed at him, spreading her wings a little in nearly a threat. She saw just what was about to happen to Adenine, Alphonse still two levels above fighting a menace who probably could not die from what she had seen, and Edward too far gone to tell the idiotic man any different. Her little sister was about to get left behind and she would not accept it, watching Hughes climb back up with Edward in tow. She was tempted to shriek at him, but all she could do was hiss, not wanting to attract more attention to this area. She was running out of options, and if this man left Adenine, there would be either a captured girl or a dead girl at the bottom of the elevator by the next night.
Hughes looked at the bird. "Shudup!" The loud hisses and the flapping of wings only annoyed him. He had no clue were Al was and the only place he could look to was towards the dark halls. The Lt. Colonel was now trying to think of a way to get both Edward and Adenine out at the same time but all he could do was keep Edward from hitting the ground.
With a soft sigh he bent down and grabbed ahold of little Adenine. Luckily for Hughes, she weighed slightly less than Edward which made him wonder if he should take Adenine first and then Ed. "Jees you would think Ed would weigh less without the auto mail." Grumbles Hughes as he looked at Ty, grunting to the bird before hoisting the two up and over each solder. "Ohhh I'm going to feel this in the morning. Where's Al anywho?" Hughes spoke as he looked back down the dark hallways and began to walk further into the darkness.
Ty glared back at such an insult as being told to be quiet in a less then polite way. This man was rapidly becoming the bane of her existence and she would see to it personally that he would somehow pay for what he was doing. Of course, a few seconds later she changed that opinion and would only make sure something heavy fell on his head at a later date. Having had put Edward up on the roof again, he had climbed back down for Adenine, lifting the light girl up and as her touch left the alchemic circle on the floor, a hole in the roof appeared where Adenine had been stuck, apparently either Adenine or Edward freeing Adenine from the embrace of the metal that once kept her bound. Later Adenine would need full servicing on her wings to make sure nothing vital had been scratched up that would ultimately cause some of her internal systems to fail. As she crouched down lower to the bloody floor and then sprung back up through the hole in the roof that had been hidden and sealed with Adenine's illusions and air alchemy, the air no longer circulating as it had, she flew up into the higher part of the elevator shaft, watching the Lt. Colonel Hughes hoist Adenine up and then pick up Edward once more.
With a child on each shoulder, both of whom small for their age and lighter then they should be, she listened to him complain, wondering if the man did anything else or if he simply complained all of the time. And yet now she was silent. She was getting her way now and Adenine was being rescued, something Ty would have done had she possessed the means. Still, Alphonse and Hughes never would have found Edward without Adenine, and Hughes would have never have found both children without Ty. Ty however took the lead now, flying in the open space of the warehouse, the basement closed off, the first floor filled with old machinery and storage tanks, and then the upper level very open to the air, wire grating pathways connecting little rooms and machinery for moving heavy objects. That was when a very sharp clashing sound echoed from off near the other side of the elevator shaft, Ty knowing it to be the battle of Alphonse and whatever man seemed to take no damage. In fact, from the sounds of it Alphonse had to be taking a severe beating, metal crashing and clanking around, a generally disturbing sound. And yet Ty continued to glide towards where they had parked. They had to come back for Alphonse she supposed, but neither she nor Hughes could do anything while carting around two children.
As the Colonel waited for fuery to get into the passenger seat Mustang,Having no clue as to where they could have gone desided to get out a map that was located in the glove compartment of the Van."Alright then..I think we should."The Colonel paused for a minute as he was slowly directing His attention towards a figure that had cought his eye.Mustang was not amused to See that Kintani was In his presence,The colonel clearly Had a lack of respect of the woman seeing as her attitude was something to be reckoned with especially the last time they met.she even had the Nerve to be cheeky and to ask to accompany him.With a grim look on his face he replied to her quite coldly."Wherever I'm going and Doing Mrs. Meynenth is none of your Buisness.fuery and I are just heading out to go and Get Someone."Then Mustang paused as he was asked if she could join Him.With a Heavy Sigh He replied"Sure...The more the marrier....Fuery..Get in the Back...""Hmmm maybe with Kintani With us...I can be alittle more confident with the backup that I have with me."The Colonel thought as they all got settled in the Van and he Drove off.
Kain saluted to Roy and quickly got in the car. "Do...do you think that those boys will be alright, sir? I mean I'm kinda worried about them, sir Mustang." Kain said as he looked up at Roy and stared into the sky.
Colonel Kintani Meynenth watched the officer start to go around the van, but she still could not help but be ever so faintly amused at Colonel Mustang's expression when he saw her. They were two of a kind really, both taking down superiors and climbing ranks, usually the on the opposite ends of the country. She did not smile though; nearly able to see the Flame Alchemist's gears moving in his head. Yes, they certainly had butted heads a few times, but she did not mind him. He may be conniving, dangerous, sometimes a bit of a hotheaded fool, he was also reliable, predictable, and he had common sense most of the time. She could value these traits and therefore did not mind him. Of course, he also normally dropped the formal attitude around her, which she could appreciate. Then again, he did not know her orders from the Fuhrer, and hence why she was asking to come. Her series of missions was anything involving Scar, and thankfully from what files she had read, if the Flame Alchemist was leaving his office or actually doing something, that meant that there had to be some kind of major disturbance that required her attention. She always thought things out so logically, never letting feelings get in the way.
But, her golden orbs of eyes paid close attention to her counterpart's expressions and words, taking apart the possible situations by how he responded and acted. However, she always found him amusing nonetheless, taking the front seat before even being told. Slipping into the van quickly with an ease many people lacked, her katana was already leaning on one of her knees door closed and look rather passive; incredibly thoughtful, obviously reviewing something or another. With her soft-spoken and yet firm voice that told everyone she expected no nonsense, she had her zori sandals slipped off.
"Colonel, either call me Colonel or Kintani, none of this Mrs. Meynenth ridiculousness."
While she may look so formal, she was raised in a small town and shrine, had gotten great lengths in the military with just how she was, and found it annoying when people tried to act proper around her; it was a waste of time. A few minutes after they had been driving, she had been watching their surroundings, once more trying to assess the situation, hearing the words of the Officer Fuery, and having a good guess of who he was referring to.
"Colonel. Who is involved in this?"
