She turned, certain she'd heard something, but not certain what. After all, he was speaking through the window. She cocked an eyebrow at the elf, then leaned back against her post. If he wanted to talk, he ought to have the sense to come out into the rain. She wasn't interested in going back inside just yet. She looked at the water running off the roof and watched it fall, blending with the rain.

Hearing not a word nor a motion Fuuya closed his eyes to sleep again. The world will not change if he just slumbered an hour or two or more.... he thought.
Right now his body moves his eyes to close down and let go all defenses for now. His ears twitch more as he comforts himself to what the sill can offer.

She hopped over the rail, feeling more energized. The rain cascaded down, soaking her in an instant. She looked around, hands tucked in her pockets. There had to be more to this world than just rain. More than people under those strange contraptions, like upside down bowls that helped keep off the wet.

((GAH! *bashes thread with plush-bat* Wake u-uuupppp!!!!))
Sachi returned to the inn soaked to the bone, but feeling better. She knew the layout of the town better than the back of her hand. She had also purchased one of those strange upside-down bowls on sticks that kept off the rain. Her homeland was rather dry, and storms like this were rare. People stayed home when it was this wet, and they prayed. She'd learned they were called 'umbrellas.' She played with hers, idly, not worried by the rain.

"Watch were you twirl that thing." Rika snapped, walking back into the almost empty room. Her panther was at her side, his tail twitching from side to side idily.
Her red eyes were empty and dark as she looked to the rain streaked window. "Its still raining..." She muttered darkliy, cursing the rain silently. She grabbed a rain slick from the door and headed out, drenched even before she stepped out the door.

"What are you grumping about?" She inquired as the girl stalked out. "I's not like you aren't getting drenched anyway." She added in a mutter. "And they said I had a bad attitude..." She furled the strange contraption and entered, something her encounter had prevented. Imeidiately her eyes flicked around the room registering where everything and the few members of everyone were located. The pointy-eared fellow still lounged on the ledge, and she idly considered finding a feather to tickle his nose with. Or better yet, those funny ears of his. Who had ever heard of pointed ears? She wondered. Well... She had had a fellow who was as good as a younger brother, and more who were like older ones. With what can best be described as industrious zest, though that's not exactly applicable, she started helping the maids clean to mask her search for a feather no one would miss. Boredom and Sachi did not always mix well, though sometimes the two got along amazingly well. Her moods shifted like the fire's light, dark, then bright, lazy somnolence, wild enthusiasm. It drove people crazy trying to figure out what this rather laid-back lady would do next-- which was often to her benefit in spars, because she brought the same unpredictable tempestuousness to her fighting. Feint, easy light blows, fast hard strikes, never quite the same.

Having those cool sill winds going to him really made his sleep a boon. Fuuya yawns back and another and shuffles in, curling his small frame and match the cool rain breeze with his. Not getting enough comfort from where he lay, he followed his id and rolled back, only to have himself hit the woods and hurt a shoulder or so.
The fall not only shattered the sleepy mood he's in but also messed up his hair that made his ears stand-out. The breeze nevertheless took interest of the small pointy things and caressed it with passion that Fuuya almost jumped up from it's icy bite.
He then got the thought of rubbing his eyes and look at the large enclosure once again... still the same lodge... inn... whatsoever... Still the fireplace took his interest and went near there to bathe himself on it's warm light.

"Ah-ha!" She exclaimed victoriously, tucking the feather into her hair. It was bright, blue, like a Peacock, and looked rather funny, poking out of her pink hair. She continued with her assisstance, contriving to work her way around the room as she cleaned. She hummed an old country tune from her homeland as she did. One sung at the Summer Solstice, in honor of the Sun, and everything good that year. She was in a pleasant mood, and felt like having some fun. Even, or maybe especially, at that boy's expense. (She'd never admit it, but she was still slightly miffed that he'd called her fat. Her?! Fat?! And here she'd always thought herself quite well put together. Well... She'd get him for that.) She resettled the feather, putting it at a better angle, and grinned up at it. Such a childish thing to do! She whisked a duster over the mantle, tucking it into her belt as she took a cloth to the nearest table. Not much farther. She paid him no attention as she worked, making sure the table was clean before going to the next.

Having the fire back at his side was a welcoming embrace to Fuuya's cold body. Sure it was fun when the breeze gets to caress and cradle you to the point of near death, but hitting the floor on a sleeping momentum really wasn't the thing.
He reached his fragile hands slowly near the flame, nearer and nearer until he felt it's heat gang up on those thin elven fingers and rush up to heat his body. After getting them warm he then proceeded to fix his hair so as to cover his ears from a drunk's eyesight.
[[*Yawn* Sheesh, I'm soo tired today... 27+ forty-pounders a real hell. ]]

It may have hidden his eyes to drunks, but not to Sachi's mischief. She finished polishing the table, reached over and twitched the feather against his ear. With a speed that could only be attributed to experience she was back scrubbing the table, the feather once again at its angle in her hair. She continued to hum.

The feather hit the spot alright, and Fuuya almost broke his neck looking at his sides for the unlucky ruffian that dared messed with his ears. His ears twitched like crazy trying to remove the sudden irritant while he reached in with a palm to cover it's involuntary movement.
The only one nearest to him would be the girl... and she was cleaning the tables from distances away. Nah - couldn't be...
He tried to look back at her and still saw her doing the table chores. Still covering his abused ear he calls out to the girl, "Hey... you look very energetic today - and humming too. Trying to beat up the rainy gloom? Well, that's good..."

She looked back and gave him a sunny smile. "Not beating the gloom, just giving it a different light. Nothing's ever as bad as it seems." If there was a spark of wicked mischeif in her eyes, well, it could be attributed to her high-spirited mood. Maybe she'd been dipping into the innkeepers spirits. Or maybe she was just happy. Either way.

Different light... come to think of it - all that he saw here was the bleak gray skies and the yellow fire... and a whole lot from the drama department.
Her sunny smile made him look down at his wrinkled clothes. Actually, he wasn't accustomed to smiles. More or less when he was still there, greetings only come to him in the form of salutes and earshouts of 'Sir, yes sir.' - but not smiles - how in the world did he got a smile right now ... and he was sure undefended on that one. His wrinkled clothes cry for some well-needed wash and he knows it. "I'm heading to the rooms if you don't mind... I need a good relaxing bath.", Fuuya waved his goodbye to the sunny-girl and turned his back - walking up to the stairs he knew would be leading to the inn's rooms.

As he turned to go, she tickled his ear one last time. "See ya when I see ya, then." She tucked the feather in her hair, tossed the cloth to its place, and slipped into a handstand, then a cartwheel. Maybe the cook needed help, she thought. And, with a general disregard for propriety, she flipped over a few tables- and a drunk or two- and into the kitchen. They had chilis! Oh good! She could make that dish Master had been fond of. The one that set the poor, unsuspecting off running for a water trough, or, if they had sense, for the yogurt.

If this inn has ghosts, then may the Lady Sehanine Moonbow have mercy and drag their souls out of their misery!, Fuuya jerked out and swung a backfist to the air after another mishap toook place. This inn is sure filled with weird people...
After securing a good room and placing some of his things ready beside the baths, Fuuya then one-by-one removed his garbs... from the light chest plate , elven mithril rings to the lowly greaves, Fuuya never let one stay before dumping his weary body to the steamy waters. Ah... very refreshing!
The minutes soon pass - and hours too - as he tried to clean up and press his clothes to a nifty set. The old battle gear looked freshly new now and made glitters to appeal his eyes. His mind discarded the affections, however, and settled in for some loose shirts instead.
He went down again towards the lobby and warmed himself near the fire.
