"So we need to find out which is likely to be the most dangerous and have more adults in that group." she scowled. "Problem is..they both seem pretty risky."

"I think that either party would be good for distracting or searching. The real question is who can handle two of our littlin's then from there we will decide." Kataio stood up and then leaned against the closest tree.

Chae shrugged uncomfortably. "Who do you suggest?" she asked.

G_E lifted an eyebrow at the other women. Chae seemed uncfortable and she wasn't entirely sure about how Kata felt. She watched them carefully before she sighed and spoke up.
"I'll take two kids."
As a child G_E had been forced to take care of her younger siblings, and now that they were all grown and living on their own she had been free. That was until Bizzy, Oscar and Nika had come into her life.

"Should we let the kids decide who else goes with Gee?" Kataio looked down at Zahar and then over to Shiva. "Because I am sure we all like to keep an eye on our kids, they just may know better who would help an hinder."

I will go with Gee and Nika. Shiva said assertively. I think I will be less of a distraction to Chae if I am not with here, where she can see if I am in danger or not.
She hadnt actually meant that, and the crestfallen look that Chae tried to hide made her promise silently to make it up to her guardian later. If there was a later.
We should go, if we are going to. She pressed. I think that we are better equipped to handle distraction, if it comes to that.
She let her guardian digest that and then relayed Chae agrees that it would be practical to divide that way.

Nika nodded, as he listened to Shiva and filled Gee in on what she couldn't hear. It all made perfect sense to him.
G_E smiled at the others. "Alright... we can go, but I'm a bit lost... which team's doing the distracting?"

"I believe that if this is the plan Cheaval and I should distract. The kids can inform us when you grab the ruby. It will be faster for the kids to run in and out of the exit. Chea and I can fight anything off that starts to head your way. Plus what if we distract ourselves into a corner? I would rather have two gaurdians against rades then one anyday." She looked at the other gaurdians and then down at Zahar.

Chae nodded. "That makes sens Kataio. So we'll distract, if need be. We can all meet back outside?"

G_E nodded pleased that she wouldn't have to be doing the distracting. She'd helped distract last time they'd visited the rade, a mischevios Ashira following her.
Nika looked around and took a step in the direction of the ruins, 'Shall we go? Which entrance are we using?'

*We will use whichever is closest.* Shiva answered. *Once we start moving, we shouldn't stop, for anything.*
Chae reluctantly let Shiva go, moving over to stand with the others. Her face showed how unhappy she was, but she made a concerted effort to look elsewhere. "Let's just go." she muttered.

G_E smiled warmly at chae, noticing the other woman's unhappy face. She wraapped an arm arround heer in a half hug.
"I'll take care of Shiva. Although, I have a strange feeling she's perfectly capable of taking care of herself.
Nika nodded in agreement with Shiva and Chae. He gently pushed Gee forwards, grasping Shiva's hand again.
'Let's go.'

That was just the problem. Chae sighed. Shiva *acted* like she didn't ever need anything. But it made Chae wonder if that just masked the fact that she needed even more than she was given.
Whatver. They didn't have time for this. Slogging after the first group, she checked the charge in her gun to make sure it was full. It was.
*oh that would have been perfect.* she thought sarcastically *trudging all this way, and charging big beasties with an empty gun. Way to go, Chae.* she knew she was picking at herself out of sheer misery, but she didn't stop.
The sooner this was over with, the better for all of them.

"Our group should go in first. We shall start the distraction and gain the rades in the immediate area." Kataio looked at G_E "Becareful and wait a little bit before entering. Are we ready to go in Chea?" They would enter in at the ship gather a group of the rades and head out from there to the left of the tunnel. The Ruby should be to the right. Hopefully G_E can find it with the from there.
Zahar pulled Kataio's sleeve. 'I will do the first distraction. I will send a small ball of light down into the corridor and lead them away from the enterance. If there are any in the immediate area that is.'

The first thing she noticed was the darkness, and a rich animal smell full of earth and forestry. She stopped a few moments to absorb the sensory overload, and waited, crouched behind a small bit of rock and earth that had caved in...or was dug from the walls. It served to hide her body and she became temporarily one with the ground.
When her eyes adjusted, she could see the signs of animal life everywhere. From the tufts of fur, to the scuff of claws and the well worn and padded down dirt made by years of passing feet. There were no feet passing now...thankfully.
Underneath the other scents was one that was unmistakably blood. And the dirt was packed with small fragments that could be stone...or even remnants of skeletal bones and cartlidge.
Forcing herself quite strictly NOT to think of Shiva, she gave a silent all clear to Kataio.
Their communication would be difficult, as she did not have Shiva to act as a go between for her and Zahar. She had not thought of that before.
Animals would have sensitive hearing. *damn, damn, DAMN.*
Waiting patiently...or at least seemingly so, she observed the corridor carefully up and down the length as far as she could see. Her weapon lay comfortingly in her hands, a welcome weight.
