silentdraconis Alright... This is going to sound mean, chaotic, and like a (expletive)load of hard work, but, in my opinion, our subforums really need to be organized into some form of order. As it stands now we have: +Fallen Dreams +Chatterbox +Cap'n & Crew +Out Of Myria +The Vaults +The Graveyard +Myrian Rebirth It seems to me it would make more sense if it was placed in an order more like... + M. Rebirth + Fallen Dreams +Cap'n & Crew/ OOM *+OOM/ Cap'n & Crew *+The Vaults +The Graveyard +Chatterbox *These two seem the most interchangeable in this order. Like I said, this seems like a lot of work, but I also think it would be worth it for a better looking Myria. (I'm not studying the Art of Advertising for nothin' folks! This is YOUR taxdollars at work!)Since no one seems to care whether I do it or not, I am doing it, and I'm doing it this way. If you don't like it, you had more than enough time to complain, or suggest alterations, so at the risk of sounding childish/rebellious... You're just gonna have to live with it.

Okay.
The sub-forums are reorganized. The threads all in place. Myria Core on it's way to retirement.
Now we need to think ahead. When the Myria Core is done, we retire it to the Vaults of Honor, and open Fallen Dreams and Myria Rebirth (am I the only one to think that name lacks pizzazz?).
But those forums are sadly very empty. We need threads for them, before Myria Core takes her rest at last. And if they aren't, maybe they should be crew only until they're finished, so that they can be all nice and shiny and a giant surprise (not) for when Myrai core closes.
We also might should have threads on the main forum that link to those two subforums, since the main RPing will be shifted off the mainstream and into those two slots.

I'm sorry. I set the two subforums up and have been too busy to get anything substantial done in them.
What Eviltwinears has planned:
(A list that he can hopefully complete...)
Character Profile Stickies for both subs (with profile specifics. I'm kind of planning for the subs to be uber-lit, so I'm working on an acceptable profile format. One bit I'm adding at least, all appearances have to contain a good written description. Pics'll still be allowed, but written description take precedence.)
Basic Plot Opening Threads to basically summarize the Core thread and introduce the new state of things. (Will be locked. These are just for reference.)
A Final Core thread for each. You know, where we'll actually end the core. Defeat for Fallen Dreams and Victory for Myrian Rebirth.
A better title for Myrian Rebirth. I just needed a working title to create the subforum.
Opening threads for each. (Where we can actually post.)
RULE Announcements for each.
More to come when I feel I can continue without overwhelming myself.

^_~ don't burn yourself out, Evil. It was my idea, after all. I ought to have to do some work, too.
But, um... I'm all for the literacy, but some of our dedicated members won't have a place to play if we make those forums super literate.
I'll work on the title (we know I can come up with an excess of titles) and try for the opening threads. (Fallen Dreams could possibly use the thing I wrote to introduce the idea originally.)
And something else on the agenda. What will we do with the Main forum? Leave it for the timeless threads? Make it all information? Suggestions would be appreciated, especially from Kikuka and Jasae. I'm tempted to dump the problem on you two, but it can wait... A while, at least.
And the color is only because I felt like it.

I'd appreciate it greatly if you started setting up Rebirth (with a new title).
If you made the basics that I outlined a post or two ago for there, we could easily be ready to end this soon.
And the main forum could be for announcements and the Non-Core Pre-final battle Myria threads that remain there. We could make more of those for there too.

I agree with Silent, if they're uber-lit, not even I could make it too long in there. I'm not that good. And all of our already non exsistant members would flee.
I will do the Rule announcements. 3nodding As the rules for both forums will be a bit different. Fighting styles, etc.
This is just opinion, but for the opening threads, both of you two should take one. You masterminded the thing...

Good idea. But as you also mentioned, that leaves our opening home forum a bit. Blank. And only announcement threads running through there makes me think of some of the really, somewhat up tight, guilds. I'd like to keep this place casual as possible. But still a serious roleplay enviornment.
And as for our "sadly empty forums", Silent, I agree. They need something in there. I vote for locking them as crew only while we finish up posting threads etc, so they'll be "nice and shiny".
3nodding I think that covers all issues on my behalf?
