The group finally managed to counter the beast's effort in halting their progress toward Atlantis. The lazy monk actually put in more work than Blake could have hoped for, yet that admiration would have to wait. The matter at hand was the man's hold on the beast. Of course without halting its movements the creature would have run amok, it was the bit after tasting Illo's meditated fist that had Blake at a loss for words. The elemental-serpent dove straight fro the water once it took damage, with the sorcerer's bindings still attached. As he was dragged through the ocean, it's pressure worked against his body, pressing pounds of force until the beast resurfaced.

In his effort to stay conscious something caught his eye. It happened once the "leviathan" rose along side it's new companions, Blake had been hoisted through the air with the beast's strength alone before he was sent crashing into the Blue Cruise. During his hang-time, a lone figure in the distance could be made out. While he thought it an illusion, he was more preoccupied with a deadly landing.

With a simple jerk of it's neck the beast sent Blake from the air back toward the deck of the Blue Cruise, his hooked-webs dissipating from the accumulated strain. Making a loud thud he'd do his best not to slip and slide across the deck. The image of four towering, beastly geysers aiming for them didn't seem that surprising, albeit a bit tedious to deal with. What he hadn't expected was Aurora. She'd come out to the side of her mother before the skies darkened. In a flash, bright pillars of thunder would crash down on each of the elementals, leaving only one left to finish off. ...Wow Rising from the pound that formed from the ambient seawater beneath his feet, Blake scaled the mast of the ship before shooting down a projectile Fleur meant to hit Humphrey with one of his own. Stop messing around, you should know how fragile regular humans are. He'd say as the team planned a psychic coordinated attack.

Soaring through the air seven stars would manifest around the ocean serpent. With six "stars" forming an outer ring, the last would set itself in the center of the seal. Oh Golden and Shimmering One, Take Hold Of Thine Destruction, Tame It's Raging Form. Finishing his chant, Blake would set a gravitational pressure down upon the beast after Feur and Illo set their attacks in motion.

Shundō: Assault Hunt: This skill utilizes the user's powerful leg strength while simultaneously increasing the users speed by concentrating energy around the soles of one's feet to the rest of their legs. Although it doesn't increase the user's strength, at high speeds, the attacks can still be strong enough to break metal bare handed. With enough consecration one can even kick off of the air itself. Blake's technique when utilized reaches up to mach speeds.

Yaggdytha [52] (The Incandescent One): When invoked, the Blake begins manifesting as a great amorphous, incandescent balls of cyan living energy. Using his wavelength Blake can form webs of giant talons of light from said energy. While the web may be used to restrain opponent's wavelength and large objects, the talons are geared toward piercing through an opponent's wavelength, physically rooting itself within the soul. Adding to the level of restraint this spell achieves.

Oztalun [89] (Golden and Shimmering One): Upon being cast, up to seven stars may be formed to form a magic seal. The number of "stars" indicates how powerful the opponent to be seal is. While 3-4 may be used on humans, 6-7 are used specifically for high level Witches, Demons, Kishin and possibly even a Shinigami. The number of stars increases the pressure Blake's soul has on the opponent. If invoked upon Blake's body contact is only needed for the effect to take hold as the target has been marked with any number of "stars". While the seal is used to put presser on targets, it can withstand presser from souls as a counter effect.

With the mighty beast weakened and its allies defeated it seemed that the battle had reached its climax. The remaining Leviathan roared as Illo neared its massive maw. The Leviathan snapped at Illo but the crafty monk turned a hard right to avoid the beast. When Illo tried to launch a sneak attack the Leviathan was ready. The creature swung it's head around, as if it was expecting the attack. The Leviathan immediately stored up a mass of energy and prepared to fire a lesser version of the beam attack that it fired earlier. Taking into account how close Illo was to the beast there was no possible way for him to evade the beam attack.

Before the Leviathan could obliterate Illo with it's beam a stream of exploding crystals bombarded it. The creature howled after being hit in its weak spot. The Leviathan canceled its attack and turned to face Fleur. The beast tried to launch a counter attack but it couldn't with the countless streams of crystals hitting it in the crown. Explosion after explosion was causing the crown to crack and break appart. Finally giving up the beast tried to escape but Aurora wouldn't let it.

"Storm Crown" Aurora said softly.

Like a composter reciting a masterpiece, Aurora began moving her arms in a steady rhythm. Soon after hundreds of electric orbs formed around the Leviathan. The orbs crackled fiercely with the power of lightning . On Aurora's command lightning beams fired from the lightning orbs with deadly precision. Instead of striking the Leviathan wildly and hoping on landing a critical hit, Aurora aimed for the golden rings around the beast. Thanks to a few powerful well placed shots the rings around the Leviathan's body broke and crumbled away. Oddly history seemed to repeat itself because even now in the think of battle, Aurora still did not give off any signs of her power or her soul.

With the golden rings destroyed the Leviathan fought to maintain its physical shape. Now on the brink of defeat the Leviathan had shifted into a full scale retreat mode but thanks to a quick binding spell from Blake the beast was going nowhere. The spree of crystallized rockets from Fleur now seemed to be causing some major damage thanks to some assistance from Illio, Blake, and Aurora. It was as Zoey said earlier, with a little team work the Dwma students and Aurora was able to defeat the mighty Leviathan. It was a magnificent site to behold. Once the Leviathan 's crown was destroyed the creature's body fell apart and simply returned to the sea.

"That was Impressive. Taking down an Atlantean guardian is not an easy thing to do. But I can't allow them to go any further but I won't be able to do much with Aurora there. Ugh this is becoming real bothersome." The mysterious white haired woman said. After being displeased with the outcome of the fight the woman jumped into the ocean and vanished.

With the monster defeated the crew began cheering, all except Humphrey, who was still in shock that Fleur had attacked him. Humphrey had no way off telling that the attack was non lethal but he was happy that Blake was there. Aurora was staring off into the horizon where the white haired woman had observed the fighting.

"Mommy she's."

"I know child I know. it's ok there is nothing that she cando because we are almost there." Zoey said softly.

Zoey returned to her post at the ship's controls and ended the crews celebration. Taking hold of the intercom mic Zoey addressed the crew.

"Hey! we have a job to do so get back to work. Brace yourselves because we are heading into Atlantis right now."

Zoey dropped the intercom and fished the magic tool whistle from her cleavage. She gazed at her crew one last time before blowing the whistle two more times. At first it seemed as nothing had happened but suddenly the Blue Cruise began to shake. To be more accurate a large portion was shaking. The surface of the waster had begun to bubble. Something was about to emerge to the surface and whatever it was it was big.

The crew was speechless as a mighty construct emerged from the ocean itself. A collection of stone pillars and weathered building rose from the depths of the ocean. The structure was so large and breathing that the Sun itself had stopped chuckling to take in the sight. It had taken about eight minutes for stone structure to fully surface but it was well worth the wait. The archaeologist aboard the ship immediately began taking notes and snapping pictures all except Zoey. Wasting no time, Zoey began steering the Blue Cruise towards the center of the construct.

"Zoey wait." Humphrey shouted. "Is this even safe shouldn't we examine Atlantis before heading inside?" he asked curiously.

"Atlantis ? No you fool this is not Atlantis. This is simply the gates to enter Atlantis. Eyes on the prize Humphrey we don't have any more time to waste we need to hurry."

With careful staring, Zoey piloted the Blue Cruise into the center of the newly formed island. The crew was amazed with the stone work and ancient symbols and drawings across the pillars. The crew began to beg and pled with Zoey hoping that she would allow them to study the island but she refused. With her eyes on the prize Zoey was determined to enter the ancient city. While Zoey steered the s**t Aurora stood by the stairwell leading to the lower deck. It was clear that no one would have been able to sneak downstairs now.

It took about ten minutes but the Blue Cruise had finally reached the center of the island.

"It is finally time. I have finally returned." Zoey mumbled.

"It's a dead end I don't get it Zoey. What now." Humphrey asked.

"Like I said this is merely an entrance to Atlantis. To be exact it's an entrance for those unable to breath underwater."

Zoey blew into the magic tool one final time. The pool of water that the Blue cruise rested in began to rumble. From the waters a glass dome emerged and surrounded the entire ship. The crew was startled at first but Zoey knew that there was nothing to fear. Once the ship was fully encased the ship was plunged below the surface. It was almost as if the Blue Cruise had entered a water elevator. The ship traveled lover and lower below the surface. Under normal circumstances the ship would have been destroyed by the water pressure but the magic glass bubble prevented that. Originally it was pitch black below the surface but slowly lights began to guide their path. The blue lights had lit a trail to the end of their destination. The sunken city of Atlantis.

This place... It's incredible!

User Image
Illo

Illo sighed in relief having averted, or having been averted from, crisis. He wasn't sure if he could have take the beam head on, but he was quite sure he didn't want to find out. The fact that his team was supporting him was comforting not just at face value, but also in that it meant they were beginning to function as a unit; whether or not it was due to the gravity of the present circumstances, it was a start. Hell, even Fluer played along for the most part!

When it was all said and done Illo was flittering down to the deck where there would normally have been a bustle of sorts. This was not the case. As Zoey blew her whistle there was a curious silence in the way the crew not being treated for minor injury caused by jostling moved to spaces on deck where the view was best. Almost allegorically, no one seemed to agree on a spot that might be.

More rumbling quickly re-excited the monk. His power, bumped down momentarily to a paltry one percent, was immediately raised back up to his impressive fifteen percent control. But, as it was--or wasn't--Illo saw no need to be on such high alert at the moment and instead watched, quite awestruck, the diving into antiquity for himself. Immediately parallels and parables percolated precipitously in his pate. He made is way over to Zoey as the vessel was stabilising to bring up something he only half-way thought of before.

"Captain Zoey," he said through his hood. Why did he never take it off? "I would like to request, if I might, on behalf of the Phoenix Monastery that I be allowed to take some religious artifacts for our research." Stilted, sure, but we must remember this was a monastic's speech, a wondering ascetic, if you will, measuring his words like a bodybuilder might his portions. It was loud enough so Fluer or Blake might here. Would they be curious? It could be argued more was known about Aurora than the monk at this point.

I am the Princess of Madness

Fleur grinned as she saw her rockets explode all across the beast causing it to roar in anger. They were definitely getting somewhere. The creature tried to retreat but it was held in place by Blake's net. Fleur continued to pound it until the strange girl that Zoey called her daughter dealt the killing blow. Once the leviathan dissolved back into the water Fleur banked and turned back towards the ship, landing on the deck as her crystals powered down and the high-pitched whine emitting from them slowed down to a dull hum before fading out completely. Once Zoey informed them through the mic that they were heading into Atlantis, Fleur gave a smile. "Oh, already there?" She asked in a pleased tone. The answer was made apparent moments later as the water began to bubble and a strange structure arose from the depths. As the structure finished emerging Fleur frowned. This was supposed to be Atlantis? She couldn't hide her disappointment. It just looked like a weird shaped island. Fortunately, Zoey alleviated her fears by explaining it was just the entry gate. Her frown faded and her hopes rose once again. She watched carefully as Zoey blew on the whistle once again and the entire ship was encased in a glass bubble before slowly sinking below the surface. Fleur was torn between worry and excitement as they continued to descend. As low beneath the surface as they were, if something went bad and Fleur needed to resurface on her own it would put her in quite a pickle. She may not even make it. But the excitement quickly overcame the worry as the breathtaking city revealed itself. Fleur's eyes were as wide as saucers and she went to the edge of the ship, leaning over and staring intently at the city. As big and beautiful as it was, there HAD to be something of value in there. Probably a lot of somethings. This had definitely been worth the trouble.

And in the end, all will kneel before me

Illo

Regardless of Zoey's answer Illo would be curious to see what the rest of the crew thought about the city risen up before them. He walked over to Fleur, whom he'd yet to speak with, and put his hands on the railing next to her.

"Magnificent, isn't it?" He said giving a nod to the lost now found city of florescence. "They say this was the original city on Earth, or at least its greatest city at the time; so great that its prosperity cause it to sink into the sea--that's how heavy it was." Illo's voice was so calm, but there was an air of undeniable mystery in the area.

"... But that's just one theory. There is another story of angry gods smiting these people much like the story of the Tower of Babel. We have a chance to find out for ourselves, but some things remain a mystery in time..."

"Oh, sorry... This is probably common knowledge." He looked on at the city a moment longer before turning to Fluer. "Which is your favorite theory, if you don't mind?"

It had been nearly twenty minutes since the Blue Cruise began its descent. There was no telling how many miles underwater the crew was now but with each passing second they drew closer towards Atlantis. Even though some time had passed it was not a dull moment. There was so much to take in from the marvelous sight. Hundreds of fish and sea life curiously approached the descending ship. Everyone aboard was full of amazement and wonder all except Zoey of course. Zoey stood at the wheel of the ship with her arms crossed against her chest. She held an intense stare completely lost in her own thoughts. She was so focused that she did not realize that Illo was speaking to her. It took a moment for her to be broken from her concentrated state. Even though her gaze remained on Atlantis, she addressed Illo.

You wish to collect artifacts?” Her tone was sharp and she sounded as if she was disgusted by the question. “Very well you will be free to do as you please but only after the mission is completed and not a moment after. My dream is about to be realized and I won’t allow anyone to ruin it up for me.” She said in a strict tone.

Shortly after Zoey exchanged words with Illo the Blue Cruise had finally reached its destination of Atlantis. The Ship entered a brightly lit dome that served as a harbor for visitors. The glass bubble vanished from the ship and the crew was now free to officially set foot on Atlantis.

Hey listen up!” Zoey shouted. “We have finally entered Atlantis but our mission is far from over. Our next task is to reach the heart of Atlantis, which is the throne room. There are rumors of guards, traps, and creatures that protect these halls. And based off that creature we faced earlier I doubt that they are just rumors. It is important that we all stick together. If you separate from the pack you will die. More importantly we will leave you behind. Reaching the throne room is our objective people. Even though we are traveling together we will be broken up into two groups. One group will lead the way up front and clear the passages of any traps or obstacles that we may come across. That group will be called group A. The second group will hang in the rear to defend my colleagues and the three magic tools that is necessary to progress through Atlantis. Listen up because I will only say this once. Illo, Humphrey, Blake, and Aurora. You four will make up Group A. The mercenaries and Fleur will be in Group B with me. Aurora you are in charge of Group A.”

Yes mommy.” She said followed with a nod.

Now that teams had been assigned the mission had begun. As everyone left the ship and got into their assigned groups, Zoey supervised the mercenaries, who were tasked with transporting the three large wooden crates that held Zoey's magic tools. The three crates were each set on a motorized pallet that still required a lot of strength for the mercenaries to move.

"This way." Aurora called out in a emotionless drawl as she walked began walking down a hallway.

Illo

Two things were interesting here: Zoey knew an awful lot about something she'd never seen before; this being confirmed as suspicious in comparing Illo's extensive knowledge of religions and civilizations current and ancient, and the fact that given Aurora's strength appeared to be enough to vanquish any threat; the group barely denting the Sea Serpent(s) earlier; made it all the harder to believe Zoey actually needed any help in finding the lost city. So... What was the problem? Call him a fool, but the aloof monk was smarter--or smart enough to recognise when things didn't quite add up.

Then again, Fluer seemed to be all over this; or so it could be inferred from her suspicious level of messing around on deck. But this was an optimistic view, one which Illo was told, bred, to keep always as his default for any stranger, even if there was evidence to suggest he should do otherwise. In that moment when the capsule opened, when the world came anew to the Blue Cruise in shocking waves of color and smells and the essences of creatures not tainted by the life above, that Illo turned to his new skeptic associate.

"She seems to know a lot about this place. I've been studying ancient religions for a while--I had to--but she seems to know even more. ... Makes you think, doesn't it?" Let it be known that dissent has its own semi-independent origin. The monk adjusted his robes and found some bark. He showed it to Fluer before taking a bite.

"This will help keep your soul stable. If you're going in the other group, you may need it." He pulled out some more, about five pieces, and offered them to the kishin. Despite her curiosity, Illo still wanted her around--even if it was only to spar. His smile shifted back out to the ineffable vista aquatic.

"Breathtaking... If there is a throne, I would like to see it first." Then, turning back to Zoey, he gave his notice of disobedience saying, "I'll go in first. I don't expect you all to keep up. If you have enough protection, I believe I will conduct my own investigation." Ditching your group at the bottom of the ocean? You say it's the only way back up to the surface? PERFECT! Illo powered up a little and blasted off in the direction of the cyclopean city. He was much faster than he was before, intending to use all his available speed, at his current output, to get away from the groups.

Zoey was making the final her preparations before venturing off into the lost city. After many years of planning and researching, Zoey was finally able to embark on her dream exhibition of Atlantis. Zoey was already a renowned archaeologist and was responsible for uncovering many of life’s mysteries. Needless to say she was very excited to begin until Illo displayed a nastier side of himself. Hearing that the monk was going to abandon the group to explore on his own truly upset Zoey. Before she could give the monk a tongue lashing, Illo prepared to take off. Right as Illo took off he would have felt a firm grip around his wrist.

Mommy said that I was the leader.” Aurora answered in an unemotional tone.

The young woman surprisingly had a fair amount of strength, despite her small frame. She remained firm like a guard dog waiting for its master to give to command to let go. The more that Illo struggled the more force Aurora would have applied to Illo’s wrist. It seemed like she would break his wrist if needed.

How dare you!” Zoey stated.

Zoey walked up to Illo and slapped the monk across the face.

What the hell is the matter with you? I already knew that Fleur was devious and Blake is a hot head but of all the crew members I did not expect this from you Illo. You were among one of my most trusted members. I even spoke with Humphrey about possibly making you a permanent member of our crew once the mission was completed. I know that I have withheld information from the crew and I can understand why you may not trust me but I will not allow you to jeopardize the mission or endanger everyone’s lives for your own selfish gains. Last time I checked I hired you to protect the crew not to run off on your own. You do as you are instructed or is this the first mission you have ever taken apart of? I have spent the last fifteen years of my life researching and studying the city of Atlantis. So I don’t care how you feel about the current situation but my word is final. This place was ruled by King Poseidon. Did you expect to just stroll on in. I told all of you earlier that this place is rigged with traps. What if you ran off and triggered a trap that would put the rest of the group in peril? If you already forgotten there was a giant water creature that nearly killed us a moment ago. Now what if another one of those things appeared and we were all split up? Sure my daughter is strong but she has her limits. I hired all of you for a reason and I expect you ALL to do as instructed. And if none of this is getting through that thick skull of yours I already mentioned to you all that we will require my magic tools to progress deeper into Atlantis. Your reckless actions can get us all killed. So you can either act like a grown man and follow the orders that have been assigned to you or we can kill you here.” Zoey yelled.

Zoey’s words may have been harsh but she was looking at the bigger picture. If Illo was to run off he would actually become a threat to the group and may end up harming everyone in the process.

Whoa lets all calm down please. There’s no need to be fighting guys. We finally made it to Atlantis as a team so let’s put all of this behind us. Please try and listen to reason Illo we need you.” Humphrey said nervously.

Aurora’s grip remained firm on Illo. The air was tense between Illo and Zoey. After taking a deep breath Zoey broke the silence between them.

I’m a woman of my word Illo and like I told you before I will allow you to freely explore this city but only after the mission had concluded. By activating one of my magic tools in the throne room it should disable all of the traps. Aurora release him. Aurora I’m giving permission to kill the Monk if he becomes a threat to the group in any shape or form."

Ok mommy.” Without a second thought Aurora released the monk from her grip. “Follow me.”

Aurora began walking a steady pace expecting the rest of her to follow. The scary thing about Aurora was that she spoke in such a pleasant tone as if none of the event had just occurred.

Unlike the others, Blake didn't stay long after the initial entrance to their destination made it's appearance. Moving to the lower levels of the blue Cruise a shower started. He'd been the only one dragged through the ocean when battling with the guardian, so a quick shower was in order.

As the soap ran down his form Blake had been deep in thought. Who was that woman? Only witnessing her for a fleeting moment, the young sorcerer knew she had a place in the lop-sided info Zoey gave the crew. Whatever she had to do with the current state-of-affairs, it wouldn't be long till everything came out.

Walking up the stairs topside Blake absorbed the sight before him. Like the stories and legends had described, the place was unreal. He made it just in time to hear Zoey give out orders. Splitting the group into two teams was fine, but he wasn't sure about leaving Fleur with the crates. They'd been the reason why he'd needed to spend a sleepless night keeping watch over her.

The moment Illo tried to advance at his own pace something revealed itself in Zoey. A cold and callous demeanor she hadn't previously shown. Once she gave Aurora the order to off the monk the moment he stepped out of line Blake made up his mind. Not saying a word Blake would keep close to the lead of the group. To get answers he'd need to ask around, and who better than the child of the woman in charge. He'd lean in, talking in a whisper as they all walked down the large hall. So Aurora, do you know anything about a white-haired woman watching us from afar? I'm asking cause I saw one while we were facing the guardian earlier.

Illo

Needless to say all this was very embarrassing. Illo wasn't used to be scolded. Normally his brothers just beat the living crap out of him, and there was never any malice in it; only to serve as an ego-check. It all happened so fast he wasn't even in the right mind to stop the slap or teleport away. And for that matter where would he teleport to? Sure, if he teleported now there would be no way anyone, not even Aurora, could stop him--because, you know, physics--but without knowing the exact coordinates of the throne room Illo would be in a situation not far from this.

His eyes almost rolled at the notion of being--what, fired?--from his supposed new job. The thing nobody seemed to understand was that not even the taking away of promised rewards was a threat or damaging to the ascetic. Besides, it would be in direct contradiction to his primary directive of not necessarily being attached or unattached to anything; something he may or may not break on any given day in the dusty halls of Shibusen.

Be that as is, Illo turned to a silent corner of his periphery and remained there was Blake rejoined the group. A shower... Yes, Illo could use one. Hm... Perhaps he would go to a spa later. No, no. That was against the directive. He turned with his eyes' gravity to see his path before him and seated himself in lotus.

"Lead and I will follow," was all he said before levitating, eyes closed; well, all but one. Surely Zoey would get the hint that Illo would follow and obey as commanded, but only out of protest now.

I am the Princess of Madness

Fleur looked over at Illo as he asked her what her favorite theory about Atlantis was. "My favorite theory is that this is a sunken city full of treasure just ready for the taking. I don't really care how it got this way or why. Just consider it our good fortune." She stepped off the boat with the others and listened to Zoey explain the next step of the plan. At first she was offended that Zoey chose her to stay in the back. She was about to say something before she realize how convenient this was. She didn't want to deal with all those traps and now she didn't have to; Group A would do it for her. She folded her arms as she listened to the rest of Zoey's plan. She was fine with Zoey's daughter going ahead with the other group too. As for her part in the plan, Fleur didn't mind defending Zoey and her colleagues for the moment so long as they would help her get deeper into this city. She was surprised when Illo approached her for a second time. She took the bark from him skeptically. "What is this?" She asked, but instead of answering Illo decided to take off on his own. He would have lit out of there, leaving them behind if not for Zoey's strange daughter who grabbed him at the last second. She watched Ilo get reamed with a slightly amused smirk on her face before Aurora finally let him go. Zoey had threatened to kill him, which Fleur hadn't expected. She must have underestimated her ruthlessness. Fleur waited for the conflict to be resolved and Aurora to start walking away before she turned to Zoey. "So, what's in the throne room that you're so interested in?" She asked slyly. "I'm guessing it's not an audience with his royal highness."

And in the end, all will kneel before me

Illo

Illo had resigned to meditation again. This trip, he thought, was full of chances to attain secrets grander than any here on this plane, even the ones here in the lost city. He wouldn't go to Bardo, because he was still needed--apparently--but this was a good chance to test out some of the tricks this new level of control would give him. At the time of departure Illo would already have created an area of spatial flux. It would feel like heat waves looked if one were to pass through it; but of course this would be all but impossible as it was a zone which could be expanded or shrunk to throw intruders into a loop of sorts. There he would enjoy a good session with a few spheres of qi, influencing the air around him, pulling and being pulled by the energies he hadn't the capacity to see before. At one point it looked like he was playing chess with himself, another tennis. All with invisible energy and silent explosions far and near to the others.

With all of the distractions out of the way, Aurora began leading her group down the massive hallway. There were a lot of things to take in and view but Aurora stayed focus on her task. Just like before the young lady remained silent and appeared distant from the others. Soon enough Blake approached Aurora and began asking her questions. Surprisingly the young lady snapped out of her trance like state and began speaking to Blake.

White haired woman?” She paused and thought about it for a bit. “Oh yes her. Are you just noticing her presence? Are you really that weak? Or am I just different? That woman has been following us since we set sail. Mommy told me to leave her be until she became a threat. She had attempted to sink our ship after she casted her fog the other night. Mommy instructed me to take care of her but that was the night that you and your girlfriend tried to fight with me. One of the three stopped singing and told me about that woman. She only sung songs of hate it's sad to see family fight.” Aurora wasn’t trying to be rude to Blake by any means but she was just brutally honest. “I can’t sense her right now but she should be close by.”

The two groups had a sizable gap between then. But that was to be expected given how slow the second group moved, due to the weight of the boxed up magic tools. After several minutes of traveling the group came across a labyrinth of hallways. Zoey was beyond frustrated. She hated being disrespected, especially by some greedy treasure hunter. She still couldn’t understand Illo’s actions and why he would act up now of all times. She removed her glasses and rubbed the bridge of her nose. She could not wait for this mission to be over with. Despite the problems that she had, Blake still proved to be loyal. He may have been a hot head and a bit on the stupid side but she thought he could still be a valuable asset to the team. Oddly enough, Zoey still saw potential in Fleur but she was much more problematic than Blake. Besides Zoey didn't know if she had the patience to deal with the Kishin. Speaking of the devil, Zoey thought as Fleur approached her.

"A better question is are you generally curious or are you just intrigued on what wealth you may find. You know for a Kishin you are rather transparent. You are still a frightened child but that's ok. You just need to be around one that can appreciate your talents. It must be hard knowing that Noir views you as being expendable. So I can understand the reason why fear clings to you. But that's just between us." Zoey whispered. " Rumor has it that the throne room once belonged to Poseidon, God of The Sea. Therese suppose to be a way to disarm the traps from within his throne. Once we disarm the traps the mission will be completed and we can explore." She said loud enough for others to hear. Zoey stopped walking for a moment and placed a hand on Fleur's shoulder. Zoey began whispering once more but her tone was serious. "I urge you to do as I instructed and stay with the group in the back. These upcoming traps have proven to be fatal to your kind."

A loud hissing sound echoed across the labyrinth of halls. The hissing grew louder and louder as the creatures drew near. Dozens of serpent like creatures began flooding the halls from every direction. Aurora held up her hand and began charging a bolt of lightning but once she saw the creatures she fell to her knees. The young girl began to panic and held her head as if she was riddled with pain.

    "No I can't. I can't, I can't, I can't. Don't make me do this mommy. I don't want Daddy to be mad with me." Auora rambled franticly.

Humphrey immediately ran to Auroa's side to see what was wrong with her. The second group was a distance from the first group and Zoey narrowed her eyes when she saw Aurora's breakdown. However Zoey did not look surprised or concerned. It was almost as if she knew this would happen. Shighing heavily Zoey addressed both teams.

"Listen up the Atlanteans sent a welcoming party. Dispose of the quickly!" Zoey shouted.

The Atlanteans wasted no time and began their attack. With weapon in hand they quickly surrounded the first group. The majority of them attacked the first group attacked the fist group but a few stragglers rushed towards Zoey's group. The researchers and other archeologist screamed in fear but Zoey remained calm.

"Fleur you're up!" Zoey said followed by a snap of her finger.

    ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
Being called weak, especially by a girl, was a hard pill to swallow. True to her words, Blake sucked at soul perception. He'd never been the one to care for others unless things spelled trouble. However at least Aurora felt comfortable enough to answer his questions. Sure she sounded crass, but that's the only way he understood best. Honestly? You just might be the different one. Blake would say with a crass tone. Listening to her explanation, his concerns were verified almost immediately. Why wouldn't Zoey warn the crew of a potential threat. That itself was made the whole mission much more interesting in terms of mystery. Yet the girl's idea of Blake and Fleur together made things a tad awkward.

If she were my girlfriend why'd I offer to stay with you fro the night? Cursing under his breath, there was no way he'd muster the strength to express his feelings, nor did he feel like it. Once she spoke of three his head turned back toward the crates tugged by the rear group. Hmmm, now that I think about it Fleur wanted those things the first night we spent sailing. With a deducing mindset he figured Aurora wasn't a ditz or special, but something else entirely.

Before Blake could pose another question, sounds of hissing echoed through the halls. Before long a hoard of what he'd expect to be Atlantians made their appearance. While the sorcerer braced himself alongside the girl, Aurora picked the worst time to have a meltdown. Yep, this the day I'm having... With Humphrey at her side Blake made no hesitation to greet their hosts.

With a jump on the situation, Blake paced himself. Instead forcing his way through with his speed he met their attacks unarmed. It's been a while since I went bare knuckle. With three foot soldiers aiming to skewer him through, Blake simply jumped over the attack. Landing on the shoulders of the creatures his palms would begin to spark. Smashing each with a violent palm thrust, the sorcerer's soul swelled quite a bit. Illo, mind hanging back this round? I need to blow some steam for a bit... With that said Blake would literally throw himself in the hick of the hoard, trails of his menace sparking frequently.

Power of Sealing & Destruction: A product of Blake's immense physical strength and skill as a fighter coupled with his vast magical might and intuition in soul binding. By using both tactics of offense and restrainment, enemies will find their options and movements against Blake limited. His unarmed skills involves striking opponents enough times with multiple strong menaces at an unprecedented speed mixed with various martial arts. He's known to favor Judo & Karate as the basis of his form. All-in-all it acts as a method when hunting fallen souls and the like.

Strong Soul: As a result of such individuality, Blake is nearly impossible to be tricked or persuaded into doing something that he does not wish to. His bond with himself is so strong that his soul blocks out telepathy and manipulation toward his being altogether. Through his will the Blake may face great physical pain and psychological trauma and will refuse to surrender no matter how much the odds are stacked against him, to the point of cheating death. By pushing himself past his own limitations in the process, control over such individuality allows him over power others through sheer intimidation alone. Blake's sense of awareness & intuition are synced with his immense physical prowess and capacity since his time brawling as a pupil. As such, shifting levels of precision can be found in his stride and self-resonance when pushed, challenged, or or even insulted to various degrees from his stable physical/psychological condition.

Soul Force - Thunder: Blake is greatly skilled at bending his wavelength, so much so that it takes the form of actual lightning and is shown using it both offensively, defensively, and supplementary. He can use it to further increase his physical capabilities, granting him extraordinary control of both speed and agility. In addition to being able to channel lightning through weapons, he can discharge large amounts of it from his body. A supercharged brain can keep Blake highly alert and focused. When fighting seriously Blake has began known to pick up & read static wavelengths, literally feeling a living being's impulse bounce before they move.

    Illo

Illo was having a gay old time using his powers to create an array of spheres and generally tuning out everything around him; ironically heightening his senses greatly. He'd sensed the troops coming before Zoey mentioned it. He heard a distorted version of his name coming through his spatial diffusion zone. He couldn't quite catch the rest, but surmised Blake was taking the brunt of the warriors. Thoroughly ok with this, Illo continued to meditate and pumped more energy into his field. Any attacks directed at him would be misdirected and otherwise distorted as they entered hie distortion field for a while. Farbeit for him to step out of line, so the monk would wait until it was his turn to take any action; and obviously taking great care to delay that out of intense apathy for the entire venture as of recent tirades.
