Maggs and Oreo kept alert as a seemingly unnatural fog rolled in. It seemed to affect the people around them causing them to hack and cough. Though this was somewhat disturbing it didn't seem to affect the two girls at all. Whether it was because the fog wasn't targeting them or because the filters in their lungs protected them from most common poisons and pollutants was unknown. They spied the humanoid shape through the mist but it had disappeared as soon as it arrived. No words were spoken between the two of them but they both knew to be on guard. In this town playing a simple song could send an entire room of people into a murder frenzy so there was no telling what could happen. Speaking of which, as they arrived at the skyscraper they noticed that the doorman seemed to be a disdainful-looking giant. "The hell...?" muttered Oreo. "Have you ever seen anything weirder than that...?""Yep.""You have??""Yep." Maggs walked straight up to the giant while Oreo hung back warily. "Hey there!" Maggs greeted the giant, a big smile on her face. She leaned forward slightly, hands clasped behind her back. "Do you mind if we go inside? We're new here and we heard this is the place to go if you want to make some connections in town so we were hoping we could maybe try and do that?" Oreo seemed unsure about the whole strategy but she hung back and let Maggs take her shot at the non-violent route.

A broken chuckle came from the Chameleon before his clock struck midnight. The sirens entered the lane and two officers got out of a pair of cruisers, brandishing their guns and shouting, "Police, get down on the ground now!"
The doorman, hypnotized, didn't so much as move his pupils the woman approached him and gave her best appeal to get in. A long, hollow silence bore down on the three of them, only broken by the coming and entering of another. "Good evening, sir, have a wonderful stay."
Then it was back to business as usual, as though the duo truly did not exist. Erica had said that this was a place to make a name for oneself, this is true, but it was also made clear that one needed a name to get in...
If the two mentioned the right acquaintance, they'd be guided by the large goon to a room with a nice view and a swivel chair behind a mahogany desk. It waved like a parade queen, a woman in her thirties(?) Looking boredly through an empty olive-colored glass. She sat it down, along with her apathy, and flashed a smiled to the two guests. "Oh hi~! You know my friend Erica?" She motioned to a couch. "Sit, sit... And tell me, how did you meet?"
Meanwhile, the cops tightened around the scientist slowly, increasing the tension with every second that knocked by. Just before the cops moved in to apprehend, a flurry of rounds rang out overhead. Shouting, an injured femur and a shot the stomach on the newcomers' side-all red bandanas. Cajoled three officers into letting her ride along was Ángela. She hopped out of the car and kept into the fray, bounding from cover to cover as she got closer to the enemy. "Hey!" She said, ducking a volley. "Aren't you the guy from before?"
The C.A.T android had already faded from view as the police arrived shielding its master from any stray bullets. Zanza looks uninterested and looks at a holo screen infront of him displaying the scan of the Arhat Chameleon. Whoever had created the creature would have hopefully improved with the latter models. The DNA sequences were filled with imperfections as if done by a child. Zanza looks away in disgust as the screen vanishes. He took in the scene with indifference this whole thing was irritating. It had been hours and he knew little to nothing. Emit wasn't here and Arhat had barely given him anything. It was only a matter of time before "she" would check in with him. His eyes find there way over to Ángela and walks towards her as if the situation around them was completely normal.
" Oh? Your a police girl now? Bit of a down grade from a miester. "

Primary Weapons: Chaos blades are weapons that uses a combination of extremely high oscillation rates and chaos wavelength in order to increase the cutting effectiveness of the weapon, thus this leads to the gray material suddenly becoming indigo. This oscillation weakens the molecular bonds of anything it cuts, thereby increasing its cutting ability.

Helmet: The androids helmet is equipped with soul perception,thermal imaging,enhanced viewing as well as a computer system with holographic interface and is capable of scanning and wireless connectivity where appropriate. By connecting to Egil's ADA system the helmet quickly gathers data on battle tactics both from the android, and the opposing team--and acts as a detailed analyzer that allows the android to quickly come up with battle strategies through a built in high-provability simulator.
Light bending Cloaking Device: A special feature of the C.A.T Android is to bend the light from it's form, and shape to a near perfectly invisible state. The device seems to linger rather then simply be turned off, and in certain places has levels of intensity to it's affect on it's surroundings...from a 'reality bending' phantom-like appearance to almost nonexistent effect. This affect can be knocked out by Emp burst or similar effects.

Maggs stood silently for a few moments, her hopeful and friendly expression clearly scoring no points with the door...thing. The two of them silently watched someone exit through the door without any resistance from the guardian. "Guess he didn't select Electra," Oreo said with a wry smile. "Shut up before I select your face," Maggs snapped back, clearly embarrassed. Oreo sighed before looking back the way they came. "Maybe we should have looked around for that Erica girl more." Mentioning that name seemed to do the trick and they were quickly ushered into the building and greeted by a rather bourgeoisie-looking women. Maggs gladly took her up on her offer to sit on the couch but Oreo remained standing. "Oh yeah! We met her and she loved our everything!" Maggs responded to the woman conversationally. "We met up and went to a club and partied some and she said she'd introduce us to some really cool people but then a fight broke out and we got separated," she continued, swinging her legs back and forth slightly. Oreo stayed silent, scanning the room for danger or signs of the gang they were seeking while Maggs continued to distract their new acquaintance.
The police didn't know what was going on, but they were definitely frustrated. This was, as they say, above their paygrade. There was confused shouting, and eventually the shots died down. Angela was thankful for it, turning and waving to the cops--she was ignored, go figure...
"Well, I did what I had to, I guess," said the meister, somewhat bashfully. "Anyway... Have you found anything?"
The woman at the desk nodded and watched the two of them. She liked the talkative one more, but she was no fool. She wouldn't comment on Oreo's activity, but it was downright suspicious--who just inspects a place like that in front of the owner?--and in the middle of conversation! It was a small step to think something was up with Maggs, simply by association. In a cutthroat city like this, you begin to notice things at a glance.
"Sounds like a fun night," cooed the woman, leaning forward slightly. She chuckled softly. "I think I know which place you were at. I hope you weren't hurt..." She gave them a sympathetic smile, then clasped her hands down in front of her. "Erica likes people with vision," she said, cutting to the chase a bit. "Talk to me, girls. What do you see for yourselves?"

Maggs leaned back in the chair as the woman asked her what they saw for themselves. "Nothing less than world domination!" Maggs replied with a wink and a finger gun towards the woman. "And we've decided to start with this city!" Maggs paused a moment before adding. "Just kidding!" Oreo let out an annoyed breath but didn't make any further comment. "We're actually looking for work," she told the woman, crossing her legs as she moved to a slightly more serious tone. "You seem like someone who knows what's what around the town. And if Eric likes us, that's practically a recommendation right?"

The officers began to chatter amongst themselves, wondering what it was they were looking at when they beheld Zanza's form. The gear he brandished was simply lightyears ahead of the tech they'd been briefed on--let alone what they were trained to use. It was clear to them that what they were dealing with was above their paygrade. Soon after this realisation, a shift in the atmosphere took place. No longer was the focus on that kind of "fear of the unknown," rather an anxious waiting. How long before things would return to normal?
"Oh... That's too bad," said Angela, shifting her gaze to the pavement momentarily. There were cracks and chunks missing, pieces of a conflict she might now seek to justify with proof unfurnished. "Seems like things are a bit more complicated than at first blush," she continued. "For whatever reason, the cops seem to trust us, even though I can't remember any mention of the police in the file.
Angela took a moment to recount the events that had brought her here. From last night's little brawl, the meister found herself in the middle of a shootout between the police at the gang members at the club. An odd sensation overtook her, she fell unconscious, and the next thing she knew she was in a cruiser eating up the freeway around downtown.
"... And then there was a mysterious machine. It hovered in the distance--I couldn't really make it out, but it looked sort of like a human--and we heard clicking, like it was shooting at something. Then it was gone..." Angela seemed to be lost in her own memory for a moment. "But now that the police are willing to work with us, we can maybe start making some headway! They'll give us escorts, reports, all of that. What do you think?"
Meanwhile, the queen of what appeared to be fashion(?) in Achaeda chuckled softly in her swivel chair, clearly enjoying what Maggs was bringing. "I like your first answer better," she said with a deadly serious look. A brief but tense pause rolled over the office before laughter again. "It's nice to meet someone with a brain out there! The sad truth is that even some of my best are just drones in this hive--or whatever. Erica's a good start, but the poor girl's not the brightest--no business sense."
"She's even cutthroat," continued Anise, "but that's not enough. Not nearly. Replication," she said, mimicking a conductor in a symphony. "That's the difference between people like me and people taking calls down below. Believe me when I say each one of them is every bit as capable--heck, maybe even more--as me." She waved herself off that tangent and onto another.
"I hear Shibusen has found their way into town. Same issue. No replication; all their efforts, sad to say, will likely be for naught no matter what they try to do to change the world." She sighed, a bit showfully, resting her chin in her palm. "We are in the business of magnifying, not changing. Changing is destructive, and we like things just how they are. We like them like that so much, in fact, that we've built our lives around just that. I'd like to think the city has rewarded such effort," she said, gesturing softly to the window behind her. "So... When I ask what it is you see for yourselves, I need you not to throw the question back at me, yeah?" A final clasp of her fingers punctuated that point.
The C.A.T android keeps a watchful eyes on the police. While they appeared to be human the machines protocols didn’t allow for it to drop its guard. It was scanning the officers just Incase their was a non human among them. Zanza felt something off about this situation. He knew that the city had recently had a major influx of demons and other supernatural beings. However the human population seemed unaware of this meaning that he was just scratching the surface. First things first he needed to locate the Arhat production facility. He absorbed the information Angela gave and spoke
" A mysterious machine you say. Can you take me to were you last saw it? I’m not so sure we can trust the police. Whoever it’s behind all of this might be manipulating the department. We can see what info they have then work on our own investigation. As a Miester I’m sure they’ll be happy to cooperate with your demands. For now I’ll let you take center stage. "
