"Ah well. Looks like you'll have to sleep on the sofa again." She laughed, half into the pillow. "If you really want, I can sleep on the sofa tonight..."

"Naw, you're already comfortable, I won't make you move. Get some rest." He leaned against the window looking out at the stars his fingers played over the pages of his book.

Within a few minutes of silence, Nika had drifted off and all that could be heard from her was steady breathing.

Once she was asleep he silently got up and went out. He went down and out to the courtyard sitting down on a bench with a sigh. He could faintly hear music from somewhere and his foot tapped with it. he sat there for a moment before getting up and running into the nearby trees, he got into the darkness and stopped breathing hard, running hadn't helped his arm. It dawned on him that the boys would be playing cards right now, he wondered if they even missed him... he sunk to the ground in pain as something came down across the back of his head hard with a crack. A dark figure stood over him for a moment then left leaving him on the gound, a note stuck in the dirt with a rusted knife next to him.

chibialchemist3 Avel smiled and nodded. "Yes, that's a rarity in people... I'm glad to have... met you in the first place..." she said, blushing and looking down. ((lol i replied to this already once but these people have been working there way around!XD this was pretty hard to find lol)) Naum smiled at Avel, not even bothering to notice the tint of her face. "I'm glad I met you too Avel."

Avel looked up at Naum. "Th-thank you," she managed, trying to hide the redness on her cheeks, but failing quite spectactularly. "You're a very nice person..."

Naum looked at her and actually noticed her cheeks this time. "Umm..your a little red...are you okay?" he asked out of all curiousity.

Avel looked down at her feet quickly. "Y-yeah," she replied, "I just... haven't been sleeping well these past few days..." Which was true, but definitely wasn't what was causing this...

Naum looked at her a little worried. "Are you tired Avel?Sorry if I'm holding you up." he said scratching the back of his head. "Not alot of people actually stop to talk to me."

Avel smiled up at him. "No, it's quite alright... I was just wandering the halls anyway..." she said, then added, "I'll talk to you any time you need someone to confide in..."

Naum smiled and nodded. "Thank you Avel." he said happily. "Eh I wasn't all too tired myself...I just figured if some one saw me outside they'd think I was crazy." he said with a quiet laugh.

Avel simed and nodded. "I do it all the time, and my father thinks there's something wrong with me when I do..." she said, looking off to the side for a moment.
